  1. yes 1000 times yes so tired of being locked into TF mode in oro.
  2. I made an archery blaster on a dare. I remember thinking this is gonna suck so bad. BUT i was wrong archery is actually pretty fun. Sure its not flashy and you dont get big numbers but its fast and efficient and effective. Archery is 100% viable and while not technically a power per se it still gets the job done. As far as speeding up the animation times (cast time) it's completely possible. They did it for total focus (energy melee). That being said archery is already one of the fastest powersets.
  3. my second favorite character was a mind/psy/psi dom and i loved it so very much until illusion was released for Doms and now i have a new favorite. Sleep has always been extremely situational and while mass confusion is effective my regular confuse achieves the same results if slotted properly. Illusion replaces those abilities with pets and i could not be happier.
  4. as the 6th player who uses the set i have no issue with AR. In fact while it may not be cream of the crop damage wise, it's very fun to play. yes flamethrower has issues but so do all the other similar powers. So its less of a flamethrower problem and more of a "these rooted cone powers need a rework" issue
  5. how about an alternative the lava creatures that live in the hollows might make a decent skin for granite?
  6. 2 years ago i fought hard against this suggestion, stating that we needed a visual to remind us when we could or couldn't avoid aggro. That visual was transparency. Stalkers get a little hidden icon for this purpose. however with the recent sweeping changes to how stealth stacks my perspective on this has changed. Not all stealths have the same transparency value but they all now behave the same. so perhaps a transparency slider in the character creation screen?
  7. I think the villian Veats would benefit most from this suggestion. intelligent slotting fixes most endurance issues except for widows and crabs.
  8. personally i take the fighting pool on nearly every character. I rarely use tough, weave on the other hand is my bread and butter. However i do agree that punch and kick are lackluster compared to their power pool counterparts. Block is an excellent suggestion a power that roots and reduces incoming dmg by a set % either give it a long recharge or make the % low for balance perhaps.
  9. As a long time user of super speed i too enjoyed stacking stealths. Whether it was laying landmines or sneaking like a stalker it was an alternative way to play. I get bringing all the powers in line, but didn';t they buff stealth in general so stacking was no longer strictly necessary? Also this may be the wrong place for it but if no stealths stack isn't high levels of perception pointless? tbh i know i'm gonna get attacked for this but i miss when stealth slowed you a bit so when stacked with super speed it was manageable in caves and ornabega and such (hides from the villagers with torches)
  10. how about a resizing option where we scroll to change the size of back details we already have?
  11. Hey guys these are all great suggestions, and I would also love more animation choices to spice things up. If you look at some of my older posts I discover how to override some animations and replace them with others. These overrides are client side only, but they do look amazing when done properly. Travel power seem the easiest to change then melee abilities require matching of cast times. I never figured out how to switch ranged attack animations, but i'm sure it's possible.
  12. i have no idea what this thread is about. Caltrops are a major source of damage on my gravity dom. which is sad, buff gravity instead 🙂 . Seriously caltrops work great here what im curious about is why the ninja set for blasters DONT have caltops as an option?

  14. Hey folks i respecced Super strength earlier today and encountered a strang bug. Basically my collision animation on hand clap and foot stomp appear next to the right shoulder of my character. It only happens on this specific character. Ive tested with multiple costumes and also on the ground and in the air. Here are some pics. ive verified files, rebooted, relogged multiple times. Also i do not use any 3rd party apps like vidiot maps or whatever.
  15. good morning. What is the name of the rage crash sound? its not very audible amongst all the hectic pews and booms of combat and for defense based sets rage crash is fatal if gone unnoticed. in theory id like to change to be a train whistle or something lol

  17. I run acro semi regularly on my blaster/controller/defenders. Its much easier to get KB protection from a power or IO but acrobatics has one thing going for it mag+2 mez protection. I know its not much but every little bit helps. Id like to see it bumped up to +3.
  18. Forgive me if this has been suggested/requested before: As the only support skill in the storm set, could O2 boost be possibly be made into a targeted aoe heal? Thanks.
  19. I always took a pass on this power cause its so lackluster. 8 second hold with a 32 second recharge and to top it off minor damage? yeah this power needs some love.

  22. this is a wonderful idea but it would require an overhaul not limited to radiation powers. If radiation causes toxic damage because logically it should then...... Energy blast should cause blindness cause logically getting hit with a beam of energy is blinding Dark Blast should cause fear, cause living shadows are scary as hell archery should cause stacking bleeds cause arrows cause huge bloody wounds assault rifle should have the knockback that energy blast currently has cause rifles have tons of kinetic energy Beam Rifle should have dual pistols swap ammo (think cryo gun, electric gun, laser beam etc..) Dual pistols should replace swap ammo with Tracer Rounds (they follow the target, do extra dmg and have a small chance to stun target) All Electric blast powers should have a small chance to chain to nearby enemies 1 time Sonic Blast should have the best chance of stun in the game (cause vibrations mess up your inner ear good) All Water blast attacks should have a chance to choke target, cause like waterboarding and stuff lol Now I'm not advocating these changes, cept the water blast one. (seriously, how did they miss that?)

  24. in addition, can we get the amount each bin can hold increased so our bases aren't full of well......bins?
  25. i agree with nearly everyone here, the Veats biggest issues is endurance. I think the inherents need a bump. i have one of each and although they are well rounded in many aspects endurance management seems to be a common issue with both. Another solution is to diversify the epic patron power pools so that they can pick up body mastery or some other analogue.
