Please revert the Rage change.

And I can't disagree with that in the slightest either... 😄 -
If you buy the Metric Converters at the Auction House, you can use them to convert your chains into much more valuable items and sell them for lots of influence...

What does World of Warcraft do better than Cox?
justicebeliever replied to Hobbes1266's topic in General Discussion
That seems like a lot of hyperbole with nothing stacked against it... If F2P brings in subscribers, then there must be something to it... -
That's all I could find as well...they don't do anything in-game then?
-
@Robotech_Master Very clear...thank you for taking the time to write it up...

I'll risk a little derailing, just to say there has been loads of research on gamification and it's impacts on the human brain in the last 20 years. It's still being developed, but it's no longer purely anecdotal, how the vast majority of humans approach gaming (also, given how prevalent video games are, it's pretty easy to get large data samples)...Challenges are absolutely critical to engaging people in life, games, education, etc....There is also the need to feel competent...no one likes a challenge they can't possibly do well at....And people also love competition...Again, many of these are subconscious, meaning that you don't think you like those things, but in reality, you still react to them the same as many people who do... My only point is, is that in gaming, the challenge and then the ability to meet that challenge first or best, is what draws us into video games. Exactly how much fun one has along the way will of course vary, and the theme, setting, characterization, story line, etc will greatly influence the level of fun the game has... But many people still play Solitaire on their phones/computer, and get a little dopamine thrill from it, and there is no theme, setting, characterization, or story line...with Spider Solitaire, most people play the 2 suits version, specifically because it's still a challenge, and yet, it's one that most can master... -

Certainly from an Influence standpoint, yes... To be fair, you can't level from the AH -

"Some"???? -
Got it...for Attuned, the Bonus goes as low as the lvl range for the set, for unattuned, they go to the specific level you slotted... You guys rock...

If 2 people are targeting that enemy, how does it pick who get's the buff (in the case of single ally buffs)? Whoever hit last? This is a great idea, and I am going to steal it for my defender...

Maybe not consciously...however subconsciously, people are wired to enjoy and be engaged in challenges...It's actually partly why this thread goes on forever, people are challenged to convince others that their logic is the most flawless...It's also a big reason why many MMORPG's fail - they become too boring and lack new challenges... -
Thank you, that's helpful... I guess I'm still not quite getting the impact Attuning has on exemplaring... Let's say I have 5 Touch of Death Melee Enhancements (lvl 25-40) on my Scrapper...They are level 35, I am lvl 32...what's the difference between how those 5 regular enhancements would operate vs. having 5 attuned ones...?
-
And is it still only ATO's that can be attuned?

Anyone know if Colonel Taggard in Steel Canyon or Albert Maurer in Talos actually do anything? There is no data in Paragon Wiki about them apart from their location... I tried posting in Help, but I got none...any ideas?

Tweak Secondary Mutation effects
justicebeliever replied to Razor Cure's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Seriously, for the first time, this morning when I went to use Secondary Mutation, as I always do, in the middle of my mission, I devolved into a monkey...it totally floored me. I had completely forgotten about that “feature”. All I could do to those CoT mages was pass gas, and slap them. I actually recovered my senses quickly enough to high tail it out of the mission, and had to wait a couple of minutes before I turned back...Good times... -
On Justin, upon login, you are automatically granted the badge that unlocks the Patron Power Pools...this is expected behavior, but only on the Beta Server... As for fairness, no, the Epics are offered to both Heros/Villains, the Patron pools only to villains...

I would agree 100% if we had any idea how Homecoming operates...They might be mining the forums for suggestions...they might not...they might have projects they've been working for 7 years that are real game changers, and it might be we've seen all they are capable of...Their current development list might have 50 suggestions from the forums or 2...We have no idea what's really helpful for them and they haven't been very chatty to share... I don't think we as a community can come to any kind of understanding unless Homecoming joins the discussion and shares some/all of their road map...which, I also think, for them, would be a colossally bad idea, because that'll set expectations on what/when things will happen that they will inevitably fail to meet because, real life happens when you are a hobbyist, and it'll anger the community... I do like @Primantis's idea about having the dev's comment or grade suggestions...that wouldn't solve the expectation of when or what could happen, but a little bit better on the if it could even happen question...
-
But when I went back read my post, I didn't fully understand me... But I am glad that someone does...
-
Sorry I wasn't clear...I know it goes for 4-5 Million...when I go to sell it, the initial price shows the 15-20 million, and then I click find a couple of times and I see the appropriate last 5... Display bug for sure, but clicking the find a few times seems to solve it...that's all I was trying to say...didn't do a good job...
-
When I click Find on that Enhancement a few times the price shows back in the 4-6 Million range...I thought it was crazy too!
-
I think we should definitely manage our expectations...Yes, the Dev's have limited resources, and I would agree artwork is key among them... There is a difference between managing our expectations and our suggestions... We should have lots of cool suggestions going on out there...you never know when just 1 part of a goofy suggestion gets pulled out and becomes a really cool reality...And sometimes, in the suggestions posters learn about other capabilities the game already has...there have been a few suggestions here were someone posted back - "you can already do that by doing x". We should encourage the dreamers... We should not expect that any of our suggestions will be a reality...Even if they are easy...We are not subscribers to the game, thus there is no commitment from Homecoming to provide us anything...They will work on what they WANT to work on regardless of difficulty or ease, regardless of who it appeals to or not...They will likely factor in ease/difficulty, level of appeal, etc, but they are not required to...We are just guests here...
