No way to attach more than one enhancement to email?
justicebeliever replied to FullEclipse's topic in General Discussion
1 attachment per email...However, you can create a SG base for free in this game, and one of the benefits are Enhancement tables that store Enhancements... You can invite all your Alts to the base and then it's easier pickens when multiple enhancements are involved -

Character name change: adding or removing "The"
justicebeliever replied to Blackbird71's topic in General Discussion
Is it perhaps a Title you've selected? Go to a trainer and change your title and remove "the"... -
Really no clue what this thread was about...just going thru all my the posts I haven't read. Normally would have just skipped on bye...but this...this...this made my day...

Haven't seen it yet...very excited to get to it... As for how close you follow the adaptation? The challenge with books and comics is that they have unlimited special effects budgets in their medium...Books more so than comics even... The big & silver screens ares a different medium...limited special effects budgets, but a better ability to make things seem more "real"... Each should play to it's strengths...Watchmen was one of the best comics to screen adaptations I've ever seen (minus the ending...but that comes back to my earliest point about limitations of effects and the need for some realism), and it was just eh... I think good comic to screen adaptations are true to the themes of the stories they pull from, that characters are true to their core traits in the books (not appearances, but how they react, their impulses, their morality, etc), and some level of fan service - story beats copied over, costumes copied over, something...

I thought they were singing "YMCA" at first in the photo...But the lack of silly hats means that's not the case... -
I'll echo @MokaNice Bio, but disturbing...(in an engaging way, not a bad way)...

Question regarding character traits/bio vs gameplay reality
justicebeliever replied to biostem's topic in Roleplaying
The nice thing about Bio's in the game is that they are editable, and thus the character can evolve as you play...I really like the answers by @VoidTek and @Coyotedancer If, the game is about the journey (I am not talking about PL vs grind)...then evolution should be a part of the characters make up... Sadly, in the Big 2 Comics companies our heros seldom evolve, but we all know the truly best stories are the ones where the characters grows as the challenges mount. -
Increase Supergroup Membership
justicebeliever replied to Artillerie's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I'm not disagreeing...but for me, having my own private server would make the game a solo gaming experience, maybe the occasionally duoing...but without the throngs of people to team and chat with it wouldn't be the same... -
Intense and dark...A little uncomfortable, but in a captivating way...Need to know how she gets out of this...

To be fair, you never see civilians waiting for that train...maybe they are too scared somebody’s jet pack is accidentally going to go BOOM... And it is very awkward to be on a busy train, find that one open seat, sit down, and realize that someone with Stealth on was sitting there

“So sonny, how fast do those fancy rocket boots fly?” ”Oh they don't fly you say...Guess they’lll let anyone be a hero these days”

If you want to see if a Chrome add-on is the issue, just open a new incognito tab, and check there. Add-ons are disabled in incognito mode

Remembered one of the things I hate about CoH... its RNG.

Let's say your favorite coffee company says they have invented a new coffee with double the caffeine of their last product (I know I would buy it). And they want to see if it's really true...How would said coffee company test this claim? Taste test? Does it taste like it has double the caffeine? Or do they run a chemical test on their old and new product and see what the quantities of caffeine are...The feature they implemented was a chemical feature, so it requires a chemical test to verify. Same thing here...they were coding for a statistical probability. So the best evidence of whether it is working or not is statistical testing...Does X event happen Y many times in this circumstance...Statistics is the ONLY way to know it's working... I think it's fair to ask the community if it's already been checked...but that's it...no one should need to go check for you, unless they a.) owe you a favor, b.) you are offering cookies, or c.) have made a compelling case for someone else to take time away from the things they normally do to check the code. Since no one is jumping in with the level of specificity you desire, I think you can either a.) call in favors, b.) start baking, or c.) start tracking the data over a large period of time... -

Look, I find the OP's logic wonky and his demeanor somewhat demanding, but sheesh...hating someone for that? I'd hate every boss, every significant other, every child, and most of my friends... I'm really not a fan of people who say - "If you don't like something just leave," because it suggests that things shouldn't be changed or examined...and the OP is doing exactly that... My thought might be if his posting is getting you that aggravated, maybe just ignore the thread? -
Well they were looking at doing one at the time and isn’t interesting that a year or so later after they settled with Cryptic/NCSoft (for undisclosed terms) they tapped Cryptic to launch it? It died before launch and became Champions...

Since the job of community guide writer is currently open, why not apply yourself and give us a hand. There is no pay, no rules (except those found in the CoC), no set hours, or hours of any kind, no official endorsement, and sadly, all to often, no praise. Seriously...If you took all the time yesterday to do the legwork, and the time to write this up, why not just add to the guide yourself here with the information. If you are thinking...I don't wan't to take all that time to do it...I imagine the guide writer probably felt similarly. Additionally, given that you have the resources to complete the accolades, and successfully did so, it seems like those references are in fact sufficient. Could it be more pain free? Certainly...Is this guide better than none...most definitely...As with all things, the balance between time and quality weighs on us all... I think the OP did a great job, and number of people made suggestions without the need for criticism

There are several posts on this I've seen, this was the clearest and most well stated...Thanks Tex

First - as you mentioned, locally - As for the rest...there is not an option to customize sound fx for others...But really, when you are on a team and needing to hit propel that much (which is my favorite BTW - I'm sad you want to change the sound), no doubt there are a ton of crazy sounds going on already...For me, teams are quite a cacophony of sounds that make it feel like a real battle. If it gets too bad, I just turn down the volume. If it gets REALLY bad for them - you can share with them the information to change their sounds locally... Hope this helps! Keep the Propel love going!

You can't trademark a story...or an origin. The Symbol is trademarked. The word is trademarked. There are no doubt a few iconic images trademarked (which covers a lot of ground as far a s trademarking goes. You can't trademark a story in any way...(but you can trademark the name of a comic book or in some cases, their characters). You can't trademark artwork, unless it used specifically as the marketing of your products. Certainly, Hulk Comics have had the little hulk picture in the top corner of Marvel comics for years... One of the biggest concerns for trademark enforcement is to ensure the name doesn't become diluted. Aspirin is no longer a trademark because the name became used in so many areas, without defending it, that it was impossible to recognize is at as a proper brand any longer. Kleenex no doubt has a limited shelf life at this point as a brand name. It's one of the big reasons the Mouse does it's work...If Disney becomes a household word that just means "fun experiences" or if the mouse ears are used for advertising all sorts of unrelated to Disney products, they lose their distinctiveness and the trademark is forfeit (it's not like someone else can take in that situation, it's just no longer trademarkable). So from a technical perspective, it's unlikely that Disney can make a case that a "Hulk" in game is going to dilute the "Hulk" brand, since if anything, it is specifically an homage, not a dilution. From a practical perspective - it's done...it's too late...the horse has walked out of the barn, the flood gates were left open, pick your metaphor. If Disney/WB wants to shut this down, they likely have all the evidence they need. If they want HC to change policies, same thing...They certainly have the stamina to beat HC, so it's moot. Policing it from the forums isn't going to change the practicality of the situation. So thus, it follows, it does not practically manner in any way at this point what people do in this regard. Personally, I don't do a lot of homage characters, and certainly I don't copy an existing IP, because it's not fun for me. But for as long as the game is around, I say let people enjoy it.
