Passcodes actually open up your base... You SG teammates will still never need it, they can just jump into it from any base portal or teleporter... But the passcode allows other non-teammates to go to your base, if they have the passcode...there are limitations as to what they can do in your base (they can't take salvage or edit it in any way), but they can use the Teleporters for instance... But if you never give the passcode to anyone, then really nothing changes for you at all, except you can use this nifty new command

Trademark infringements are funny things...unless you are copying someone else's trademark and claiming it's yours, you don't lose the trademark to someone else...you just lose it - it's gone forever... Escalator, Trampoline, and Aspirin were all trademarked products, but as the usage of the name become so common place and because those companies didn't manage how people used their products name, those names are now public domain...If you let your trademark get diluted, you can lose it...So if people start putting mouse ears up everywhere, and Disney doesn't police it, they will lose the right to keep that image just for them...

Hardly optimistic by nature...it's a fact that pessimists live longer (the supposition is that pessimists are more likely to react to threats and optimists more likely to ignore them)... In this case, I am not at all threatened by this one way or the other...If this happens, it will be big and Population Counts will likely grow...If it falls apart, then there will be population count issues (Pop = 0). He spawns every 20 min in Hyde Park in King's Row...If the pop-up doesn't appear, you are in that 20 min window...Once the Pop-Up appears you have to defeat 12 Psychic Emanators (they spawn after the 20 min is up in Hyde Park) and then you can fight Paladin...He usually spawns just a little west (100/200 yds??) of the spot that will appear on your map (that's where the Shining Stars are)...

I wouldn't mind an overhaul of the lower level enhancements if it came with some reworking of the lower level content to make it more engaging and in the case of Paragon City, more challenging... But I don't see a need to make the all lower level enhancements better by themselves, since all it will do is speed people faster through the lower level content, and there are already ways to do that. That said, I'm not opposed to more DO/SO drops, because it makes the rewards to do the lower level content more enticing...

Knock yourself out... I never said you were wrong...that’s why I copied the text. I had said it was unethical to deceive a patient unless it was part of an experiment, and I was correct. I’ll always admit when I am wrong, and I was wrong about it getting you to lose your license (which I mentioned in my post). As for the other thread you mention...you actually never commented on anything I said, so I have assumed when there is a legitimate point made that you disagree with you just ignore it as well. I agree with this Shardwarrior...As I said, I am not opposed to change at all... But I'd rather see more content in the lower levels to make it interesting, not more tools to help you speed past it (DFB/DiB accomplish that nicely already)...

I don't mean any disrespect at all, because I value the work you, in particular, and the rest of the Homecoming Team do, but that's what happens when you welcome 100K strangers into your house... Maybe the quiet was deafening...but I wasn't really hearing alot of noise...I would have kept mum until there were some specifics to share, but it is what it is now... I'm crossing my fingers, and I'm supportive of this effort, and cautiously optimistic that'll work out...

Just for clarity - NCSoft doesn't have to defend their copyright - that's automatic...But you are exactly correct when it comes to the trademark...

Linux is a 501(c)6 - a business association to promote commercial adoption of Linux...They have members who they charge massive dues to Mozilla is a 501(c)3 - a charitable non-profit - I've bolded the possible reasons for that IRS allows - The Mozilla one is the most similar to HC at this point...but it's harder to suggest a video game is meeting scientific, literary or educational purposes...
