  1. Actually, there IS a way to do both: You click a checkbox at character creation. Your character is 100% immune to Resurrection mechanics. BUT ALSO YOU CAN ONLY JOIN TEAMS WITH OTHER PLAYERS THAT CLICKED THE CHECK BOX. No special servers, but you still get to team up with other weirdos.
  2. I understand the desire, it's not about imposing rules, it's about incentivizing different playstyles. But, with a tiny volunteer dev team? A whole server? No way.
  3. Check box vs dedicated server is a TOTALLY different request. I still think it is more dev work than would be worth it, but if some dev decided that's what they wanted to do, fine. You click a checkbox at character creation. Your character is now 100% immune to all Resurrection mechanics. But a server where everybody on it HAS to play that way? Not in Homecoming.
  4. What if they just made a new version of Energy Torrent, just for the Phantasm, that looks like Energy Torrent, has the same number of targets as Energy Torrent, but is in fact a Targeted AoE with the same range as their Power Bolt?

  6. If they do ever improve the AI of Phantasm, hopefully they give the Warshade fluffies the same treatment.
  7. However, in the absence of a buff, there are things WE can do to improve the survivability and damage of our Phantasm. Obviously, there's Overwhelming Force KB>KD. There are Pet Damage and Recharge Intensive Pet special IOs to increase his defense and damage resistance. At level 50 there are Destiny and Hybrid powers that can help our pets. There are also a couple of options to assist in the Power Pools and Epic Pools, including Damage Resistance Debuffs, Leadership powers, and even Medicine powers. Like I said, even with all that available, I would also still appreciate improvements to Phantasm's AI, but the above options can help some in the meantime.
  8. The changes you suggested WOULD improve the damage and survivability of the Phantasm. It is therefore a buff. It's really not a matter of opinion. Also, you did not read what I said. I am NOT being contrarian or resistant to your suggestion. I AGREED with your suggestion, but I also explained why it is unlikely to happen. I DO WANT the Phantasm to have better AI and no Knockback. But I am under no illusion (ahem) that such changes would be anything but a buff to a set that overall is doing just fine.

  10. Any improvement is a buff. Those suggested changes to Phantasm would improve its damage and survivability, making them buffs. I happen to agree that Phantasm should hang back, and that its attacks should all be knockdown instead of knockback, but I'm not going to deny that those would be buffs. Obviously they are buffs. You were in fact asking for Illusion to be buffed, you were just specific about what exactly you wanted buffed.

  12. It definitely won't work at this point to just make them all different skins for one generalized "weapon" set. That could have been a thing 20 years ago, but that ship has long since sailed.

  15. Well, the Broadsword set already includes moves that really don't look like actual Broadsword attacks, and the Stalker version of the set uses a lunging animation for its AS... But yea, anything to differentiate those sets, and give Broadsword a little...ahem...edge......would be nice.
  16. Axe Cyclone Telekinesis am I forgetting another one? Expect it to eventually pop up elsewhere. I don't think they are reluctant to put it elsewhere, just being considered and deliberate in their action. Plus these things take time.
  17. I don't think all these sets should be made more the same. Instead they should be further differentiated. War Mace already is very strong as is. Battle Axe now has Axe Cyclone and more to give it identity. Broadsword needs something to differentiate it from Katana. I don't think that thing should be just like Axe Cyclone. Maybe give Broadsword some kind of Lunging distance closer?
  18. Ok, I figured out HOW to do it, even how to change the name. I still don't really understand, aside from the OCD pleasure of having all your games in one place, what the REASON for doing it is?
  19. NO pet should be doing Knockback by default. That was recently fixed for MMs, it should apply to ALL pets, including Epic and Lore pets.
  20. The main issue the Phantasm has, I think, is that its AI tells it to get Close so that its CONE attack will hit more mobs. The AI needs to be changed so that it doesn't get closer than necessary.
  21. How do I do this? I found the button in Steam that says Add a Game, and I Browsed to my HC directory, but now I'm not sure what to do from there?
  22. It varies. Typically, Arachnos Fortunatas are not mutants, but Penny Yin is. Psychic Clockwork are not mutants. So, Psychic powers can be acquired in a variety of ways.
  23. It's not a bug, but a good suggestion would be for them to make it so that when scared by patches pets only run like 25 feet away or so.
  24. The suggestion adds nothing at all. The hypothetical situation is: combat has just ended, and there is another fight less than 10 seconds away, so I want to be able to hit placate to start combat Hidden. But if combat is less than 10 seconds away, you can just target an enemy and hit Placate, thereby making you Hidden. THE POWER ALREADY WORKS THE WAY YOU WANT IT TO, IT JUST REQUIRES A TARGET. IN THE SITUATION WHERE THERE IS NO TARGET, COMBAT IS MORE THAN 10 SECONDS AWAY. The hypothetical situation does not exist. The change is not needed.
