  1. I have to echo what others are saying about Acid Arrow. It’s the only power that doesn’t feel impactful when you use it. I like the idea. Build Up for debuffs. Just needs to be a little more noticeable somehow.
  2. I think being able to unlock it at p2w is a totally reasonable request, rather than making it account wide.
  3. Now I'm not sure how this works on the Live servers. I still had this mission after having boosted my level to 40. Back Alley Brawler spawned as an Elite Boss who absolutely destroyed me, that seemed like probably just an unfortunate side effect of running it at 40. The Longbow in the mission were Grays, I didn't look closely but I assume they were probably like level 18 or something. BaBs was scaled to my level. However... What was clearly a Bug was that when it said "Use the Serum Now" No Serum Appeared. The mission seems to be broken, at least if you keep it until high level. I tried it on a level 17 character and the Serum appeared in my tray as normal.

  5. There seems to be some random weirdness with some EM attacks looking or sounding like they've hit but doing no damage, and the opposite, doing damage, but having no hit sound. I've noticed variations of it on TF, BS, PC, AS. I've mentioned it, I think in an actual bug report. I'll continue trying to figure out if its duplicable, but so far it really does seem very random.
  6. Bone Smasher seems to be playing its Hit sounds even when it misses. Total Focus seems to play its miss sound even when it hits.
  7. You're good. I'm certainly not saying that enforced rotations are always better. I appreciate that CoH has many sets without any sort of enforcement at all. All I was really saying is that by insisting the devs NOT implement such a system one removes a tool from their toolbox.

  9. Having "mini games" that give you better damage if you do your rotation correctly is one of the main ways MMOs make classes interesting to play. NOT having them is one of the things in CoH that is generally boring, to be honest. Differentiation and specificity is better, imo.
  10. Tac Arrow's shtick is that it's a Blaster version of Trick Arrow.
  11. I can't say this is new to beta, and I don't think it's necessarily duplicable. One of those random things. Assassin's Strike, in Energy Melee, neither missed nor hit. Using the slow version. The attack went off. The hit animation and sound played. But no hit OR miss was recorded in the combat log and no damage was done to the enemy.
  12. I would love to be able to use the "shimmering rainbow" effect from the Unyielding toggle (without the "cage" effect), also similar to the Power Boost ability, as an Aura. That would be a NON color tintable version (and presumably also color tintable versions with 2 colors instead of the rainbow effect). The Rainbow Path Aura ALMOST looks like what I'm thinking of, but I want it without anything streaming out behind me (the Path part). Any chance?
  13. They haven’t done anything with the player made travel hubs. Only put some very flexible limitations on accessing them. In fact, they buffed them, they added many new portals.

  16. These were in Shauna Stockwell's arc in Kings Row. Weird enemy emote bug. They shouldn't have visible guns while still in the emote.
  17. You know it could be that SOs are just a lot more expensive than they really should be for what they do. Maybe cut the price of TOs, DOs, and SOs (and associated Upgrade costs) all like in HALF.
  18. You still seem not to be responding to my actual point. I'm not talking about getting to PD or getting to Bases. I'm not asking for it to be easier to get to those places. I'm talking about unlocking the LRTP. That's all.
  19. If you stated as your opinion that you don’t like it then no one would argue with you. But that’s not what you said. You said it’s bad design to make powers work better when used in a certain order. Well I disagree.

  21. Yes, there is an optimal order. Refusing to do this optimal order will not get you the optimal performance. The problem only exists because you refuse to adjust your tactics.
  22. Getting the PD added to your LRTP is easy, yes. But unlocking the LRTP takes getting all the Atlas explorer badges on every character. Not unbelievably onerous, but irritating. That is what I am talking about.
  23. The main thing that prevents Support ATs from soloing as well as everyone else is the fact that using Support and CC powers takes time, time during which you are not attacking. MMs and some Controllers and Doms suffer less from this than others. But it’s generally true across many sets.
  24. I don’t understand what fly powers have to do with it. I’m talking about having to do all of the unlocks on all our different characters.
