  1. Dude, that IS what I'm doing. But there's no good reason I should have to turn off my toggles to do that. It's just an annoyance for no purpose.
  2. I like the arc and I do it on most toons for XP and merits.
  3. The idea that I should have to Rest to use this temp power, when I don't have to rest in 99% of my actual missions, is exactly the point. It's a ridiculously high end cost.
  4. I was running 3xLeadership + Arctic Fog. No Sprint, Ninja Run, nothing. I have Stamina with 3 SOs. I used NO other powers and it still ran me out of end. It's an absurdly high cost.
  5. The cost of the power is so high that on my MM I had to turn off my toggles so it wouldn't run me out of end half way through the mission. That's ridiculous.

  11. ok. Like I said from the start, I don't really expect any of this to happen. Unlike disallowing Power Boost from working on Farsight, which I completely expect to happen. EDIT: But we can keep that in the other thread, lol

  13. nah, I've thought FS needed a nerf and the rest of Kin was weak since like 2006.
  14. Repel is one of the least taken powers in the game. I understand you like it as is, but most people do not.
  15. just to be clear, I'm not saying it isn't functioning as intended. I'm saying the intention wasn't that well thought out.
  16. What if the base end cost was increased, but the per enemy cost removed?
  17. I'm not saying it has to be changed to do something different. Just buffed. Remove the Per Enemy end cost. That might be enough.
  18. Yea, it does. And I expect it will eventually happen. Repel, Detention Field/Sonic Cage, a couple other powers here and there, will almost certainly get improved at some point by the HC team.
  19. Again, part of the goal is explicitly to justify nerfing FS. But like I said, I don't expect this to happen. More like a suggestion of what SHOULD have been done from the start.
  20. Yea, that's the nerf part. Let's assume that Repel gets buffed in a separate pass. That's why I didn't mention it.

  22. Not condescending at all, I understand the question. The goal is to distribute power more evenly across the set so it is less dependent on FS. Also, to give it slightly more defensive capability, but not much.
  23. No. If you want in combat movement you use Hover, CJ, or Teleport.
  24. To me that's bad design. The best designed powers are always useful, though obviously their usefulness does vary to some degree, I agree.
  25. Ok, how about this: What if instead of my above suggestion it was: Take some of the +Dam out of FS Add a similar amount of +Dam to IR, along with a little +Def? So keep the +Dam of the set nearly the same, but have some more of it come earlier.
