  1. MORDERNIZE!!!!!!
  2. I wonder if it would be possible to make the icons for the Strong version of Empowering and Insulating circuit different from the weaker versions, so one can easily see who has the best buff on them?

  3. Endurance cost for Mastermind's Discharge seems a little high.
  4. I thought of another possibility that might be a little more feasible. Give Special IOs, Set Bonuses, and maybe even Incarnate Powers each a score, invisible to players, that stacks. Then have mission difficulty (probably via mob Damage, HP, and Accuracy, but not ToHit) scale with that score. This way the game stays as it is for people with SO builds but gets harder for everyone else, and scales with their actual Builds. You could even make having your missions react to this score an optional setting.
  5. Perhaps it impacts you very very slightly. However if you go and fight larger groups you will find you are much much better than before. So I suppose it’s a trade off, but it’s an extremely good one.
  6. It's not though. And it never was. Stop using it at all when there aren't enough mobs there.
  7. I wouldn't object to increased rewards for certain more difficult enemy groups.
  8. To put it another way: In the situations you're worried about, where there aren't enough targets for SM to be efficient, you shouldn't use it. That is no more true now than it used to be.
  9. If you're fighting 3 guys it is, and was, more efficient to stick to single target attacks. You don't NEED an aoe against 3 guys. Against MORE than 3 guys the new Shadow Maul is more efficient than the old one.
  10. I figured out the solution, but you're not going to like it. (Hell, I don't like it, and I'm not suggesting it, but this would have done it from the beginning.) The solution would have been: AT specific Defense softcaps (somehow). Tanks and Brutes 95%. Everyone else in a range between 80% and 90%. But it's too late for that now.
  11. Mentioned this in Beta but only just the other day, Galvanic Sentinel almost always fails to follow me up elevators.
  12. I understand, and that's ok.
  13. I really don't think that's average.
  14. Pretty sure Patrol XP was invented (along with Day Jobs, doesn't matter which came first) as a form of offline progression and as an incentive to return to an unplayed alt.
  15. Most people are spending it once they've amassed enough. Some people probably hoard it for fun, but not enough to solve the problem.
  16. The reason we're talking about the completely harmless influence change instead of the load of Awesome new toys we got is because there are already threads upon threads in the beta forums of discussion of the toys. They don't need to be talked about anymore, just played with.
  17. I think it's a fantastic update and I think most players will agree and will not care about the change much if at all.
  18. I don't think it was necessary to attack him for something he didn't say because other people often fail at reading comprehension.
  19. That is not at all what he said.
  20. I have no desire for them to significantly change ANY existing content.
  21. I didn't mean bringing a controller is the solution to playing goldside. I meant creating new content of that kind is a good way to increase the importance of Control effects.
  22. True, and I'm not terribly bothered by it. It'll be ok.
  23. I certainly don't mean we should be expected to dps while constantly moving. That obviously won't work in this game. But dps from point A, then move to point B and DPS from there for a while, then move back to point A, is essentially something we already have, in Magisterium for example but elsewhere as well.
  24. Seems to me this kind of content incentivizes bringing a Controller or Dominator or two along.
