  1. Yea, it does. And I expect it will eventually happen. Repel, Detention Field/Sonic Cage, a couple other powers here and there, will almost certainly get improved at some point by the HC team.
  2. Again, part of the goal is explicitly to justify nerfing FS. But like I said, I don't expect this to happen. More like a suggestion of what SHOULD have been done from the start.
  3. Yea, that's the nerf part. Let's assume that Repel gets buffed in a separate pass. That's why I didn't mention it.
  4. I'm going to edit the OP slightly with the variation I suggested to Infinitum.
  5. Not condescending at all, I understand the question. The goal is to distribute power more evenly across the set so it is less dependent on FS. Also, to give it slightly more defensive capability, but not much.
  6. No. If you want in combat movement you use Hover, CJ, or Teleport.
  7. To me that's bad design. The best designed powers are always useful, though obviously their usefulness does vary to some degree, I agree.
  8. Ok, how about this: What if instead of my above suggestion it was: Take some of the +Dam out of FS Add a similar amount of +Dam to IR, along with a little +Def? So keep the +Dam of the set nearly the same, but have some more of it come earlier.
  9. Ah, that's a good point. The latter. Kin as a whole is ok, but it's too heavily dependent on its tier 9.
  10. That's exactly the problem. So much is invested in those two powers that the rest of the set suffers.
  11. Yes, pretty much. Making the set better on smaller, and lower level, teams and a little worse on large teams. Exactly.
  12. Interesting, I did not realize that. Even so, the caps are fine where they are.
  13. And yet reading in context is an essential part of reading comprehension. You cannot in good faith read the first sentence independently of the second.
  14. I have no illusions that this will ever happen, but here's my suggestion: Lower the +Damage of Fulcrum Shift. Add +Regen +Damage and a small +Defense bonus to Inertial Reduction. It'll never happen, but I think it would be an improvement. EDIT: Instead of +Regen, give IR an amount of +Dam almost equal to what is taken from FS. This keeps overall performance almost identical to current, but moves some of that power earlier so the set isn't so reliant on FS.
  15. Ok, I hear you. But still I would want all of that to wait until after we have content that justifies the CURRENT levels of power.
  16. In short: the OP is explicitly REQUESTING more power creep. No thank you.
  17. I mean, this mission idea sounds fun...but I don't see that it necessarily justifies the additional buffs being asked for in this thread. Frankly, I think the boost of the Inspirations cast on you when you level is enough. Once you've got so many Vet Levels that you have all the Incarnate abilities you want at t4 you don't NEED any more buffs.
  18. Thing is we're ALREADY OP compared to existing content. So there would have to be Multiple Tiers of new, more difficult content added BEFORE adding these buffs.
  19. and No, I was very specific. Kin is not overpowered. FS is overpowered and the fact that it is overpowered has been used, by the original devs I guess, to justify the Rest of the set being a bit weak defensively.
  20. No, it's actually completely irrelevant, but I agree the claim that it penalizes choosing sets is also silly. The valid point is about the amount of investment it takes to accomplish. It's too easy, too few powers and slots, at too low a level.
  21. The speeds are fine (animation time of TP is long perhaps, but besides that). The solution is simply to DISALLOW slotting speed in Fly since it does not benefit from it.
  22. All I would ask is that the Endurance Cost of the temp power be reduced or removed. Lowering the recharge would be nice, but not as important.
  23. More end game buffs without more difficult endgame content is a bad idea. Change this to a TEMP POWER you get when you hit the vet level and then we can talk.
  24. These datasets show that I am correct. Time is among the most popular buff sets in the game, essentially equal with most of the top sets. The exception is Kinetics which is, frankly, overpowered. More specifically Fulcrum Shift is overpowered. Probably Kin should have a little bit more defensive ability and FS should have less +Dam. Obviously I'm not expecting that or asking for it. But the post I was responding to (I dunno, but a good many people don't seem to favor it, if it were so OP it would have caught on by now.) didn't say anything about it being THE top performer, and neither did I. Time HAS "caught on". It doesn't have to do as well as Kin for that to be the case. The fact that it does as well as Dark and Rad demonstrates that I am correct.
  25. Time is incredibly popular, I have no idea what you’re talking about.
