  1. That's not true. There are multiple sets that have their mez protection spread over multiple powers. Fire, Bio, Dark...
  2. I don't see it this way. Right from the start the set encourages you to group enemies tightly which means being up close when solo. At 26, when you get Poison Trap, you start being encouraged to run into melee to toe bomb hold groups. So a few levels later adding VG shouldn't be that much of a departure. In addition, if you do team a lot, you are already encouraged to group up for buffs and heals. Many ranged players stand too far back most of the time. Sure, avoiding aoes is important, but being buffed is important too.
  3. Pretty sure this is intentional. The Upgrade system is, in part, intended to be an Inf sink. They don't want it to be cheaper to buy SOs.
  4. There was a suggestion recently that the Team UI should show you when allies are Mezzed to make it easier for Buff characters to see when to use Clear Mind, Antidote, etc. That would be so cool.
  5. I think that advice is wrong. I find both holds and the cone slow handy. The heal, antimez, and rez are the more situational, but fine at what they do.
  6. Since the sets with click mez protection all have strong defense I’ve never felt it necessary to stack it, though yes you can. I like it for the lower endurance cost over time.
  7. Both sets can remain as is with no issues, as far as I can tell. Force Field is the one buff set that still needs something, imo.
  8. HEYOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
  9. I think you're making it too weak. Should be: But honestly, I think I agree with the person who said it should basically not change too much from current, just be less clunky. A single click power that activates a -Res to All debuff on the enemy, that can be activated DURING other powers animations, and grants the Sentinel both the Defensive and Offensive portions of the current buff, but with the Offensive portion enhanceable and buffable.
  10. Literally happened to me just now lol
  11. As a debuff aura Poison>Venomous Gas should, I think, suppress when invisible. It does not.
  12. They aren't going to fix Kin. Don't worry.
  13. No one is devaluing anything. I’m not saying Kin is BAD, I’m saying it’s badly designed, which it is.
  14. Something is wrong with the Council Vampyr's sitting on top of walls and such in Brickstown. They can see right through full invisibility. These mobs are NOT supposed to have +Perception.
  15. Here's a question though, should Stealth suppress Venomous Gas?
  16. I'm going to have to agree with Parabola, THAT fact is bad design.
  17. In this case I think I have to somewhat agree. While Kinetics overall is fine, it is improperly balanced within. Fulcrum Shift is OP and the rest of the set suffers for it. I'm not seeing the same being true of Poisons. Venomous Gas is good, but not THAT good.
  18. I had seen elsewhere people suggesting poison is in as bad shape as FF and that just seems utterly ludicrous to me.
  19. One of the TWO holds the set comes with?
  20. Kinetics says hello.
  21. There’s nothing wrong with SR and Nin mez protection, and on Sentinels SR can have toggles if you really want.
  22. I'm playing a Poison Defender now and it seems Very potent...what's the problem?
  23. Which would make the forms overpowered for people who didn’t choose to leave the toggles on. Sorry, that’s probably not going to happen.
  24. ^ This. If they implemented it now you would still be paying the end cost for all those toggles. Then add on the fact that Light Form and Eclipse make the Damage Res toggles (mostly) superfluous. That's a couple of reasons against it. Solutions probably exist, but they may not be easy.
