  1. The discussion is about if you need to 2-slot it or not. What it provides is irrelevant. And again, Murcielago's build has a single slot in it.
  2. Since it generated 11 pages currently, I'll just link to Murcielago's Dark/shield build and let that offer up one way to look at it.
  3. And? I can stack PB on my SR.
  4. One of those two 'wasted' powers is your travel power and Spirit Ward can be one slotted with the Preventive Medicine Proc. For Shield, I would argue using Unleashed Potential is better until you can get your End squared away.
  5. Active Defense should only need one Recharge as it has the same recharge time as Practiced Brawler.
  6. My complaint with Disney is how often we know the ending and it just feels like we are here for the journey. Loki is pure "Hold my flask."
  7. I just upload the files. I don't know enough about /storm to really help. Storm/en would only work for me if I did a number of KB to KD procs in the build. If I had 400 mill to blow on a Storm character, I would go /water or /dark.
  8. If an AV has Res at 75%. That AV will resist at 75% of their damage being lowered. So, if an AV has 50% Res and someone tries to lower that AV's damage 25%, it will actually get lowered by 12.5%.
  9. Kin Defender can do -25% per Siphon Power and Fulcrum Shift. Both can stack, but more so for Siphon Power. 2 SP + a FS even resisted at 75% still means -18.75% DMG.
  10. I know they are rebooting how they do the shows. I'm not all up on how they are doing it for the movies, but it feels like they have lost direction a bit, and they are working on getting things back in order. I'll see it eventually, but reviews haven't been even good, but then I thought the last Ant-Man was at least solid outside of a couple aspects.
  11. Siphon Power is still good for AVs. I honestly forget Repel is a Kin power. That's one power I skip every time. If all you want out of a travel power is the travel power, IR works for that. Plus, it can also save you using one less power pool. I know you don't do slotting, but ID is a two slot wonder for the +3% Def IOs.
  12. I haven't fully done a Regen on HC and mine on Live was just common IOs. I will say I would shift the Celerity: Run Speed to Sprint and get the bonus there. You would ultimately move two slots from Super Speed. I would also look at trying to see how well you could make positional Def work versus typed. I played around building a /regen recently and came away with seeing how high positional was and wondered if that wasn't the better way to go for Def. Sure, no DDR, the Def will still be low, but at least it is something to look at. Just using an extra slot in Shred puts you at +21% Melee Def.
  13. It is a good one to skip and if you need another attack, you can grab one from an Epic pool.
  14. I think that's the direction for my Shield/fire Tanker. At least until I can get End management down. I stuck the Preventative Med proc in Spirit Ward for my /sr.
  15. I had thought about going Brute for my Dark/sr, but went Scrapper. One note about RoP. You can't reduce the recharge of it, but that's fine. End game build would also have Hybrid Melee so you could rotate both of them for even more consistent on hand Res. Plus, Hybrid Melee gives you +Regen.
  16. Your slotting on IG is wasted. You want Avalanche in there. Add in another 6-slotted Winter set and you have capped Fire Def. I know you have Consume, but .6% difference in End Recovery vs. End Drain seems incredibly low. You also have 6-slotted sets with offering no real benefit to a farming build. It looks like you tried to make an all-around build which can also farm. Make one build for general purpose and one for farming. For farming, your priorities are capped Fire Res/Def, Recharge, and the End to pull it off. Chugging reds will take care of the rest. Your goal is to spam Burn, Atom Smasher, and Ball Lightning with some Judgement when it is up.
  17. I like EA over WP, and I have one of each in Brute form. SR is solid. I only have Scrapper one and at 44. My one recommendation for SR would be to grab the Sorcery pool to get Rune of Protection. Even at base numbers, you are going to get rather solid Res to all, and it is fine with just slotting in the +3% Def Res based IOs in it. This is what I did for my Scrapper. For primaries: Savage. End friendly and helps with recharge. Fury loves DoT so the AoE damage will be really good. Ice. Ice Patch makes this incredibly safe. Damage type is great in pretty much every map. Fire. See Ice but without the mitigation. If you solo, I would grab a Hold or similar mezz type of power in an Epic attack because things like Sappers happen. Energy. Obviously works thematically with EA. One of the best for ST damage. Dark. More specifically for SR as it offers a heal which SR lacks. BA. It wants +Recharge and the End to pull it off. EA offers that.
  18. It might help to explain what you are exactly taking on which is causing so many issues. Simply saying it goes down rather quickly isn't all that helpful. Case in point, I have a Ice/stone build which soloed +4/x8 before hitting level 50, so that meant no 50 +1, and facing actual +5s while solo. There are certain missions I wouldn't dream of dealing with +4/x8 even with Incarnates factored in.
  19. Having leveled up yet another Claws and a BA character for the first time into the 40s, I feel like damage resist and burst damage as factors really do matter. I'm not arguing anything for how high DPS Ice is, but I do know that's a set I can walk into basically any map and not worry about how much my damage is resisted and just how smooth that makes playing the set. Compare this to any lethal based set and how much those sets can turn into watching grass grown depending on the mob and the diff setting you are running on. I love Claws. It is the only melee set I have dinged more than once to 50, and I will soon have done it four times plus I have a Fort, but my word soloing certain mobs at even +3/x8 is an absolute chore. I did dust off my Em/ea Scrapper. Outside of TF's stupid long animation, it feels like this weird partial combo system. I definitely feel like I need to play it enough to get the flow down better. I yearn for a Sonic Melee set which should have quick attacks as there's no reason based on in game powers for that to not happen. It's almost like the OG devs felt like any non-S/L set had to have one inexcusably long animation. Granted, this pattern held up with Rad Melee as well.
  20. There's a number of things which could be done with a Psy based armor which would make it unique.
  21. Granted, Claws is still tied for 6th as a Scrapper based on a sample of Pylons testing for however much that matters. I've done a couple DB characters and they never last. Claws is just so much smoother of a experience. EDIT: I'm talking non-Stalker experience. I refuse to play Stalker's version of Claws.
  22. One slot Tar Path. 6-Slot Fearsome Stare with Cloud Senses. Slot Night Fall for Damage. One example would be to 5-slot Positron's Blast with skipping the D/R and then sticking a Annihilation: -Res proc for the 6th spot. You could swap in the -Res proc into Howling Twilight as well, and instead for Night Fall do another damage proc or the Ragnarok: Chance for KD for even more mitigation.
  23. I prefer when people attach their build file so I can get a far better look at the build. Case in point, I have no idea what values you are getting for Def, Res, End, etc.
  24. I have 45% Fire Def, and I can tell you there are occasions when my Def suddenly plummets. It might happen once in a tunnel mission, but it is there.
