For solo, I would pick Ice over Fire, but Fire/rad is going to still do wonders. I would also go /dark over /rad, but /dark also doesn't have a way to deal with End like Rad does, so it might take a bit more to get to a happy place.

I never finished the build, but I feel like a possible way to do Def for Regen is via Positional Def. Add in DA and you can see about capping Melee Def.

I didn't see the others but I thought Soul was pretty solid.

Just watched the first episode. I think my biggest take away is having a show which isn't being done in a metropolis as being a nice change.

IIRC, Disney was expected to run in the red this year as well, and then be fine in 2025. In all honestly, Disney+ is still slow at putting out new content compared to other services. I think it is still way too early to know how the streaming wars will work out as various services buy out others.

The only Blaster I have gotten to 50 is Water/temp. I did enjoy my Ice/ice on Live. I also got an En/en to 41 on Live until it died, and I was playing it hardcore.

Well, It's already banked more than The Marvels, but that likely says more about how bankable the leads are versus quality of the film.

I know people have issue with Peter Jackson's take on LotR, but I think it and the books have me covered. Amazon is already proving it isn't easy to take that IP and make good with it.

This leads a bit to */* since you have both T9s by 30. The biggest issue for the melee attacks sets is how smooth the attack chain is at lower levels. Claws, StJ, MA, Kat, and some others work here. There are slower/higher damage attacks sets like BS, BA, WH, etc which won't fill in until later. I felt like on my BA it took until the 40s for the recharge and end management to really start to click. I have a hard time thinking of an armor which would need to wait until 35+ for it to truly kick in.

I'll agree on Evis, but Claws is really not that great if you remove the other two. Focus is its best ST DPA. Shockwave is its best AoE DPA. This says nothing about the ability to use 100% knockdown in a spammable way when using a single IO. I've kept countless bosses on their rear ends never taking a hit or so few my health bar hardly moved. FYI, that third attack? I one slot it and don't even put any enhancement into it since its DPA isn't worth it. Also, three attacks means you also are skipping Slash, which is just all the more WTF are you even doing at that point. Kin melee is better than a 3 attack Claws, and as someone who has done the numbers, Kin is horrifically bad. Saying that, Claws is as smooth of a ride while leveling that you will find and it certainly blooms early.

You need to hit 18 to have a final ST attack chain. You need to hit 26 to have your AoE attack chain. Saying Claws is done at 12 is a giant ball of WTF are you doing?

It did better than expected for Christmas. It will be interesting to see how it does long term. Audience scores are at 80% on RT despite the scores for reviews being so bad. Audience scores on Metacritic are much lower. I don't think it is fair to compare a superhero flick to non-ones in terms of how long they stay in the theater. More so when a number of those films were flat out better. Add in 66% of Aquaman 2's numbers are for worldwide. It isn't going to stick around domestically. I can't fathom the audience for this being willing to stick it around until May. We're living in a post Covid peak streaming world. Stuff doesn't stick in the theaters and more so if the reviews are bad.

I saw a Tweet from Zack and he basically mentioned the aspects of the movie. At no point was storyline mention. It's basically, "Yeah, I put a bunch of R rated content in it." I also find it interesting in the video posted above apparently the director's cut is coming and the 'better version.' Funny how he needs a director's cut to finally get it right.

Box Office Mojo shows $28.1. The point remains the same. Looks like The Marvels was $47 million in it's 3-day opening. At least DC can pull out the #1 movie in America trope for a week.

$9.2 million Friday. Saturday can pull in some decent numbers, but I can't imagine Christmas Eve doing much for the film.

A quick look shows if needs to pull in $400 million to break even. Good luck with that.

I didn't see the first one. I don't see a review on RT yet, which tends to be a death sentence. I can think of three movies I would rather see. I'm more curious to see how it does. More so considering The Marvels failing at the box office with at least decent reviews. And if you are wondering, Godzilla Minus One, The Boy and the Huron, and The Iron Claw.

I won't say the multi-verse is dead, but it is going to get trimmed back. Deadpool/X-Men will likely be the only remaining thread there. Squirrel Girl was tried in a New Warriors show and was dropped from a different studio before even being aired. Even Disney was given a shot to pick it up, and they passed on it. It's frustrating though in that Majors is a talented actor. It sucks, but Marvel has many more landings to figure out that are bigger worries. Doom/Fantastic Four likely gets its pace picked up.

You get Dark Consumption at 18. You don't need to worry about adding another toggle outside of the initial 3 until your 30s. Even on my Claws/sr Scrapper, just simply using the Body pool patched up any end issues if not being overkill, and I technically run 6 toggles. Swap in the Energy pool on a Brute. Maybe with SOs and some poor slotting, but a Dark/sr should not be having end issues.
