  1. Glad you guys clarified about i25. There were rumors going around that Sentinels would be wiped etc. Luckily I asked in private and was reassured they were here to stay... they are my new favorite AT. As for the super packs.. nah I am good.. I need that influence to help cover some IOs hehe.
  2. I wouldn't have any issue with it being limited to one NEW server. If others wanted to join that server to play with all the imported characters - then it would be their choice. I highly doubt it will ever come to fruition... and even if it did I am 98.78251635% sure I wouldn't upload any of my characters.
  3. You are confusing the Sentinel AT with the program... Sentinel+ - which is what this conversation is about. Sentinel+ was a tool that allowed you to "record" all your character data that was on Live before sunset. The hopes were that if there was any down time and Paragon brought the game back.... you could use your Sentinel+ data to restore your previous Live character. Have no clue were you got that information from... Sentinel was added by the SCORE team after shutdown it has nothing to do with NCSoft its custom for their private build which is what this server is using... and many of the newer secondary powers were also SCORE additions... for example Ninja Training (not new but new for blasters)... You can read all the SCORE teams changes they made to the official i24 https://docs.google.com/document/d/11cLJiSYlfueJheOumRywG8Evip2Mjmu_30Y6ePaetqY/edit Its good to bare in mind that many of the coders are working with the i24 source code and improving/optimizing that as they dont have the source code for SCORES unofficial i25 build so if they make great improvements in the future with their build and optimize it to run better and require less hardware the Homecoming team maybe choose to switch over which most likely would require a wipe and the listed changes in that document would be gone but thats a long way down the road.
  4. You can download Pine (the newer version of Mids with all the new powers etc) here: https://mega.nz/?fbclid=IwAR0AlGyVbfejioQvgB8E28izGncWrrkMZR712eOxw-mg-tGWGMQu6VlYXg8#!qFEFTCLQ!XkqDAVafa_48bl7xYa0WFkqGNBVDXApSnpm6Keie3e8\
  5. I have remade my main characters that got the most game play (trying to cut down on my altitis). Fixxer: Originally Empathy/Elect Defender... now Empathy/Ice - liking it much better than electric Burnt Toast: Fire/Time Corruptor - remains the same Burnt Reynolds: Originally a SS/Fire Brute - now a Fire/NrG Sentinel Eartha Kitt: Original named Tara Bull - Earth/Kin Controller Trixxie: Same name and powers: TA/Archery Corruptor Shrieker: Originally a Rad/Sonic Defender - now a Sonic/Ninjitsu Sentinel ---History.... originally named "Ima Moaner" but I was genericed and had to change names. A friend of mine had a sonic toon (named Shrieker) but did not like the set so he let me take the name. Fu Fighter: Originally a MA/Willpower scrapper - now a MA/Ninjitsu scrapper Bubble Yum: Forcefield/Nrg Defender - Originally named - Boom Boom Betty I have not remade my Water/Dark Corruptor (Bad Wetter) - BUT I know I won't be using that name IF I decide to redo the character.
  6. As an OG player I will reply: I have yet to get any character to 50 - my highest is 36. Regarding Incarnate experience and iTrials. I don't have a problem with the awarding of iexp outside of incarnate content. Why? Why not. Once enough of the player base is 50 there will be numerous instances of all the itrials going. Right now I would venture a guess that MAYBE 10%-15% of the population has a level 50 character. And what are they doing with them... probably farming missions to help bankroll their build and their future toons/lowbies. I am very much looking forward to doing all (ok most) of the itrials, BUT I need to get to 50 and I would like to have a decent build going in to them beforehand. Going into BAF or Lambda with my Alpha slot already will be a nice change of pace. I really think that once more people get to 50, slot their builds, etc... there will be a noticeable increase in icontent being played. The servers haven't even been up a month - a little too soon to start freaking about late game content. I do think if after a month or so there is a definite lack of icontent being played that maybe the ixp should be lessened etc.
  7. You can store salvage and IOs in your base.... If all your alts are in same SG.. voila. It is what I used to do on live. And you don't even need anyone to invite your alts to your own personal SG.. just use: /altinvite theirname
  8. I would love an Off Topic forum.
  9. This is the build of my Empathy/Ice Defender. I have decided to call Indominatable my home server. Because I already have Fire blast characters there (Burnt Toast [Fire/Time Corr] and Burnt Reynolds [Fire/NrG Sentinel]) I decided to make Fixxer an Emp/Ice Defender. I actually think /ice lends itself to the whole Fruit Salad Defender concept more because the attacks have slows/holds etc. I also like having two holds. My focus of this build is mainly recharge and perma Adrenaline Boost. I have been using him as a pocket Emp with a friend and his scrapper and blaster... works really well :) So here is Fixxer.... 10. That is always an option, but I never post builds with Purple, AT, or PVP IOs. I think a good build should be able to do fine without any of those. This isn't to say a build couldn't be made better without them OR that I do not use them on live builds. The builds I post are ones that with some inf and merits can be done "relatively" cheap.
  11. Uhhh ok.
  12. I'm 100% with you. The whole baby talk is cringe-inducing. Feels like some "To Catch a Predator" stuff to me.
  13. The hyperbole in this thread is hilarious.... If you can't find a mission team that is on you. Ever think no one wants to run that TF at the moment and it has nothing to do with AE? I don't run Posi; for example, because I like it.. I run it because I need it for a badge/accolade. I'm not worried about badges/accolades right now. I am more concerned iwth getting to 50, getting influence to enhance my characters, etc. I played from beginning to end.. I don't need to rehash the same stories from 15 years ago that I ran through numerous times. I get the reduction in xp for AE due to technical reasons... just hoping this is something they can resolve because the game needs mor eoptions now fewer if you want people to stay interested... especially since there will not be new content.
  14. Please don't start nerfing things like AE. If you want to get people to continue playing you should give them more reasons to play... not less. I played 8.5 years (May 2004 to Sunset) without any breaks. I had 20+ level 50+++ characters... I don't need to experience the content all over again. I just think punishing those who want to get to 50 as quickly as possible to farm, pvp, do itrials etc is counter productive to the community and economy. And before anyone says something - I don't have any 50s - my highest character is 29... I just think these changes are inane.
  15. The "concept" is actually a preferred playstyle. I don't want to be a scrapper and have to be in melee. I do want the protection of a defensive secondary though. Yes Blasters put out more damage, BUT they require quite a bit of influence to be that uber leet farming blaster who rarely dies. I played 8 years and only had 1 blaster to 50... Fire/Psi. All th eother ones even with lots of IOs felt way too squishy to ne. I think you are confused on what a min/maxer is. Min/maxing is taking the AT and powersets and maximizing those... it does not mean this character is better than that character because it produces more damage. If that were the case true min/maxers would probably only play scrappers. Min/Maxing is something you do for every AT and powerset - trying to make a combo the best it can be... regardless of damage/time. The true art of min/maxing is taking a combo and finding a way to make it work...the best it can.
  16. Fire/Time - Max Defense..Buffed Endurance..Heal...Slows..-Regen baddies... nuff said :) Fire/Time is my absolute fav Corruptor build.
  17. Burnt Toast

    Psionic Melee

It would - Shield Charge even after it was nerfed is still a good AoE.
  18. I will go a little further into what Rah-Rah said: Why two travel powers? I like super speed, but I also like being able to get to higher up places - hence.. Super jump. I took Combat Jumping..for the defense. As for Kick, Tough, and Weave... Rah-Rah is correct - you have to have those two powers (kick and tough) in order to get weave which is a great power defense wise on Defenders.
  19. The only "rocky" thing I remember are the three stone items...each looked a lil different and you had to make sure not to mesh them together at the same level or you would get flicker which as very distracting.
  20. It really depends on your play style which primary/secondary that you choose. I don't do a lot of teaming with my scrappers so I go for a build that is more self sufficient and more focused on single target than groups. Because of this I tend to focus my secondaries on defense rather than resistance. My main scrapper is a Martial Arts/Ninjitsu which does really well solo imo. Could easily swap out/Ninjitsu for SR or NrG.

Here is a build I did for Psi/Energy - It is definitely more of a single target Brute although it's AoE is available every 6.4 seconds. This Brute build is more of a solo build although it would do well on teams - just did not bother with taunt. Capped defense to all but Negative (39%) and Psi (21%) - Psi is definitely it's weakness which is a bit funny since it is a Psi Brute. 23. So many legal experts on here... (sarcasm) If you do not think the Homecoming team is not (and has not) consulted with attorneys... you would be mistaken. How about we let them do what they can do and advise us of any "donations" that can or cannot be requested on their own schedule. Certainly beats all these internet lawyers out there flooding the boards with the same old back and forth.
  24. I have heard differently... what we have is what we will have. This means all ATs etc that were not in the "live" i24 beta. When the game was "re-launched" they decided to include this stuff in the current build as well as any future build. When I say they... I mean Homecoming... as for any of the other private servers I have no idea what they may or may not be doing.
  25. At least those who do not like RP know which server to avoid now.
