  1. Bionic_Flea was good enough to help me get started with a build, which I slightly modified to suit my taste (I wanted a hovering character which works great for this combo, perma AM boosts flight speed and since I had never ever tried Afterburner I decided to give it a try) The build below is almost what I'm running becquse Pine's won't let me enter what I am running. I moved Fallout to lvl50 and Pine's won't let me 6-slot it. so the order of the lat powers is Afterburner, Mutation and Fallout. I'm not sure about Incarnates, I am at 50 but have not yet started building them (not all of them are even unlocked yet) I find that I almost never use Mutation or Fallout, so I would be fine getting rid of them, but not sure what to take otherwise. I could take superspeed and put an +stealth in a prestige sprint so that flight+SS+Prestige sprint makes me invisible (flight is optional but the only time this character touches the ground is when dead or to open an ouro portal). I can't take the TP pool (too many pools in use) but I think there is a P2Win TP power if I have invis. I'm toying with the idea of using Rune Of Protection, I am working it into another corruptor at the moment so maybe I'll wait to see how that goes. any advice would be appreciated. No hurry, this build rocks even now. Hero Plan by Mids' Hero Designer 1.962 http://www.cohplanner.com/ Click this DataLink to open the build! 2. Ifyou turn XP off you also get double influence. I wouldn;t do it before 50, and then you delay incarnates, but I can make 30 mil in an hour on a good ITF
  3. So while I am absolutely enjoying my "no purples/no winter IOs" triform build, I have altitis and I'm thinking about using the second swappable build for a human only build without having to level up again, which can be a slog early in human only. But maybe is should spend the inf on topping off my triform with purples and what not to see if the difference is worth it before in embark on this new/expensive endeavor. Although I fully equipped 4 other characters since I hit 50 on my warshade. Without altitis I'd have billions to spend here.
  4. Well, I do expect this build to clear quite fast. Especially once you have your incarnates (not even talking about level shift which of course helps hugely). This being my first /time character I am enjoying it immensely.
  5. Long thread most of which I don't follow but I have on concern and one question: I tried to make a small change to th database from the Warshade section of the forum and kept getting errors and couldn't load other builds. Had to wipe my installation of Pine clean to get back to a workable system. The first post says this will break existing builds? So if I import a build from the forums it will show wrong powers (or worse error oouy it crash?) And if I export my builds to yhrr forums, others won't see the right build? That's a big issue for me as I love to import builds for review it export then for discussion. Any way to make them compatible rather than add to the fragmentation? In i25 during respect you can add slots in any order. That allows slotting early power slots into later slots or for example let's you 6-slot your level 50 choice. Is there a way to enable this behavior in Pine's? I wanted to post one of my builds for review and it has the lvl 50 power 6-slotted.
  6. Hmmm I have too many corrputors but this is a combination that is interesting form a thematic point of view. I have an Eidolon themed MM that I'm having a hard time getting into. This could be something to reroll him as if I decide MMS are not for me
  7. Not to take away from this build, but so far all my 50s (Triform Warshade, EM/SD Brute and Ice/Rad Corruptor) are able to solo x8. That's a testament to how most well build characters are viable in this game
  8. Who knew my original post would lead to such an erudite discussion ;)
  9. ATOs are already attuned in the sense they level with you and are slottable at lvl10. If you have the inf, they are the best ones to slot early because some other sets only start at lvl30 for example and can't be slotted before 27, even if attuned. You can then catalyze ATOs to turn them into the superior version, but then you can't pass them on to a lowbie to equip at lvl 10, so you need to be sure you're going to use/need that superior ATO before catalyzing it. Procs don't benefit from being attuned. They proc the same (frequency or benefit) regardless of level. the one possible reason to attune it is if you have a lvl50 proc you crafted from a recipe, but want to slot it at lvl27 on a lowbie character. you can then either sell the unatuned version and buy an attuned one, or use a catalyst (usually more expensive). Be aware you can't sell to yourself in the market. This can create an issue if you want to convert into an attuned proc RITE NAO and ther are none on the market or the ones vailable are at a much higher price than your sell price.
  10. Haha mixed my Ms and Miss again. My brain can't seem to get the hand of which is which. Again a language thing that is probably obvious to you native speakers.
  11. Thanks! Hasten is on Auto (CTRL click) already so I only need to worry about AM but good to know about how to do both. I did notice that in intense combat I queue powers during the previous one's animation, resulting in Hasten to be delayed till there is a lull (I usually give it time to fire if I notice)
  12. I know the lore (Miss Liberty is also Lord Recluses's sister) The title Ms vs Miss is confusing to not native speaker like me (similar to the French Madame vs Mademoiselle) but is not helped by 90% of players calling the player "Miss"
  13. *Puts in 1000 bids for 1k* Just because I don't want to rip you off.
  14. Ok, I'm glad someone understands the OP. I have no idea what to do with this. Can someone provide a more been friendly explanation?
  15. Alright. Both are tempting but after seeing the impact on costume among other considerations, I rolled a Rad/elec. /Rad does look interesting too, maybe for another day and another primary (or likely a tank, assuming it's available as a tank primary)
  16. I never realized costume changes were free below 10! Cool!
  17. according to the costume designer. way way tall unless I'm doing something wrong. I'm making a "mech liberty" homage character and I keep making her too small so I have to satr over. 1st world problems...
  18. So Rad/Elec or Ra/Rad? which one is best? I think Elec provides more AoEs?
  19. Hey Flea, my corruptor is now at lvl49 and I have been enjoying this build quite a lot with only minor changes (I wanted a hovering character and it brings great utility to this build for proper positioning and AM benefit flight speed) Time to think about incarnates! I find I get very little use out of mutation and fallout, so many rezzes in the game that they often "compete" with each other and I don't always get fallout out in time, so when I respec to add purples I will looks at possible other options there (or taking them last). I am still intrigued about the use of Sorcery for +Res and I am leveling a fire corruptor with it to see if it can add a layer of survivability.
  20. My Rad corruptors has both Hasten and AM and Hasten. At higher levels both Hasten and AM are perma as long as I quick quickly upon recharge. As a QOL issue I would love for AM to be triggered automatically when I move forward. Someone said in game there was an easy bind for it. Can I get some help with that? Can a macro set up a bind? I'd love to have a macro that sets movement to normal when I play lower level content where AM is not perma so I want to choose when to activate it, and one that would set the automatic bind when I play higher level content.
  21. I would appreciate that. I don't promise to follow it but it's often a good place to start to understand a new combo
  22. I must not have gotten the memo about Ice blast being single target. Ice Storm and Blizzard may be DoT but they are AoE and on my build come up very fast. My Ice Corruptor gets credited for probably 2/3 of the kills, and single target blasts animate so fast that I can just constantly pick any stragglers. I'm not arguing that Fire is the best AoE, for one thing it has 3 AoEs (fireball, RoF and Inferno) but I hate seeing Ice be put in a box it doesn't really fit in. I finally played my Fire/Time corruptor some more. I played it a bunch solo because I feel that it's the best way to get a feel for any character. Time Crawl is great for solo play, reduces incoming damage from one or more target while you deal with the others Time's juncture is a little bit like Storm's Hurricane but better if nothing else becuase of no knockback but is a big endurance suck at lower levels so I had to constantly juggle it in. I'm still playing with the idea of variations on the build you posted. If we're going to have superspeed+prestige sprint stacking for invisibility, I'd love to take recall friend, although the temp power from P2Win is an option. If I give up invisibility and resign myself to slower flight or ninja speed, what would you grab from the primary or secondary that is worth using with a single slot? Also, Flares vs Fire Blast, is it a matter of personal preference or is there a good reason to take Flares?
  23. The problem with Ouro is that it's is run like a task force. So unless it's the 1st mission, you have to run the arc to that mission and then you get stuck in TF mode, can't really do much else with that character. I think I'll keep track a little more carefully of inf gained and run times to see how those are different from running AE.
  24. My warshade kicked a whining brute out of a 50+4 mission run today. He kept whining we didn't let him herd. Then he whined that he needed the mobs surrounding him to help his survivability. We told him deal with it. Every AT has weaknesses and they learn to accommodate them depending on the team makeup and situation. The sentinel told him to keep up or leave. He said he felt useless. Then he said we wouldn't make it through the mission without him. That's when I told him I'd love to run that experiment and that he'd probably be happier with another team. I kicked him at the end off the mission. We picked an energy blaster of all things. We ran the next mission, agreed we kicked ass, and then starting having one of the controller tank/engage, then the sentinel on the next mission, then me (warshade). Worked every time. I had to step in and tank the AVs. The controller didn't have perma PA and the sentinel couldn't quite survive it. We did maybe 6 missions in that configuration (all AVs) without a brute or a tank (or an emp) on the team. My WS has KB->KD IOs. I'm glad they exists now. I'd still play without thenlm.
  25. I have dabbled I'm the market and probably made a couple hundred mils that way by playing the rare conversion roulette. I don't seem to be good at picking sell prices though. I have maybe 150 enhancements door sale that haven't sold in a week (and probably sold 100 others in that time). So I'm using that too but I find the process tedious. Maybe there are other .ore profitable secret marketing techniques, feel free to PM me your get rich quick method :) I probably will find farming tedious too, I can't I see myself doing more than a few runs at a time. I've had fun with the comic Con bloody rainbow so far but it was more about the cahllend of getting to x8+4 reliably and quickly. And I have only done it for the past few days. What I love about that AE mission is that if you position yourself right, it keeps feeding you mobs more or less at the rate you destroy them so you are never chasing the next group (you also never get the slightest respite from continuous combat to heal or whatever) which is pretty exciting (I also have a Brute that survives without trying but so much slower at killing). I think I know the council mission you speak of My standard for inf is that I can make about 30 mil in an ITF run (non speed, kill a bunch of stuff without being bigots about killing everything). That's ITF on a 50 at +4 with XP off.
