  3. What's left after minimal Fx is like a continuous stream of puss. Just a nonstop purulent discharge. After being in the medical field for almost 18 years, I can't look at it. Bio Armor is a straight up No-Go for me.

  5. I've seen you around on Excelsior, even complimented on of your costumes once. So, I kept the power choices you made, in the same order. I just moved some slots around, and changed some enhancements. Like slottimg KoB for actual damage instead of the hold set. Anyway, You're softcapped to s/l, 44.something to e/n, hardcapped res on S/L, without your Alpha agility on. It just gets better with it on. Yes Psy is what you have to look out for on Invuln.   9. I appreciate the feedback, but like I said, I can't play regen anymore. It's a dead set to me. Bio has piqued my interest a little. I'll fiddle around with the build you provided as a starting point. I'll be on vacation next week, so I won't get to actually put any play time in until second week of July.
  10. When CoH first came out, my first toon, Gobbledygook, was a claws/regen Scrapper. Of course, he was based off of my favorite comic character, Wolverine. I mean, I bought my first computer just so I could play this game. Come to find out, I didn't get one with a powerful enough GPU, so I had to take it in and get a new one put in. I loved that toon. I didn't even have any alts while I was playing him. I'm also one of the few who never got over the *ahem* adjustments *ahem* to regen that were made back in, what, I-4? Anyway, I've got that feeling that I need to revisit my old favorite. In todays' game environment, how would you build Wolvie? I know the most likely answer will be /WP, be I honestly don't know how to build for /WP. I know for /Inv you get some Def here, some Res over there, a little recharge, and you're basically unkillable. Also, does anyone know where best to put the ATO's. They are a long term goal, but I would like to get them. I know I'll need the kb to kd IO in shockwave
  11. I think you mean claws/wp sits in the spot that claws/reg once did. That's what I'm thinking. Guess I'll go solicit advice from the build masters now. Haven't played WP since before the shutdown.
  12. I wont speak for him, but as a Claws user, I will say that once the recharge goes up, and the Follow-Up starts stacking, you wont be -dissapointed- in the Claws kit. Its fast, smooth, fluid, and packs additional utility in the form of KD, Range, and the ability to slot -RES procs without wrecking the attack chain badly. It is substantially better than its raw DPS output indicates, both in feel and in play. No, you wont be a single-target Pylon Champion, but you will have a decent single target and AOE kit. And its fun. I love some of the weapon substitutions, too. I had a Claws/Sr back around Pre-IO's that could handle himself just fine against AV's, just gotta decide which secondary (no Regen, until they make IH a toggle again)

  16. I started with Scrappers, I tried a few Tanks, but they seemed to weak when it came to damage output. Then they came out with an AT that rewarded Scrapperlock? I was in heaven! I have a balance of about 60/40 percent Brutes/Scrappers. My Brutes I play like heavy Scrappers. I love it.

    I remember when Thugs R Us posted these on the old forums! The only caveat I would offer to his ss/shd build id the def debuff from rage crashing is now non avoidable. Even if you have it stacked.
  18. I've been seeing this, especially by a certain player pretending to be "Santa", wants a tell with "class" powersets, just hits me wrong. I can understand trying to build a balanced team, but with all the different AT's (not Classes, ppl) it's hard not to.

  20. Makes me wish bio didn't leak puss all over the place in the adaptations. This would be a great build to replace my 1st toon from Issue 1, claws/regen. Thanks for all the testing you've been doing.
  21. I'm sorry, but I take issue with this. All of DM's attacks apply -tohit, as does RttC. Siphon life give Wp the one thing it doesn't have, a self heal. Yes, the regen in /WP is great, but it can, and does get overwhelmed at times. If one were to look on the old forums, there are more than a couple of guides that combined these two powersets. As far as /Wp's Tier 9 being "uber", it is far from that, which is why when you look at most builds, people don't take it.
