I remember having to pick swift, health, and stamina. I remember Instant Healing being a toggle. I remember a team leader booting a bubble defender because they didn't have any heals, so they were useless.

In my game client it isn't available. It's only on Beta. I don't have the option for Mace under scrapper. It's the last power set available, War Mace.

I guess I know what my next project will be, gonna borrow some ideas from this. And thx to the OP for starting this thread. I'm going to try to get through the TF Commander TF's this weekend.

That's more than likely from a level shift. Once you get your Alpha slot, for instance, to tier 3, it applies a level shift for the incarnate content. Not sure if it still shows it after you've received vet levels, though.

Stick with it. Quite a few enemy groups have def debuff around this lvl, and I'm not quite sure if /EA has it's -def debuff resists yet. I personally don't have any experience with either set, but according to the older boards, /Ea was a good set back then, and was buffed shortly before sundown. My question is do you have either Mid's or Pine's? Most ppl are using Pine's nowadays to create their builds in.

Is SR viable at all? I mean, you can play it, but it doesn't feels it was meant for tanking. Scaling resist with HP loss is looking for trouble in my opinion. Everything can be built to work I guess, but Super Reflexes seems like a masochist pick. Anyone played a good tank build with SR? Im.. designing one now? Idea is that (unlike so many other builds!), you dont go chasing every pool in the game for +DEF, cause its all there already. You slot up to Incarnate Softcap (I picked up weave for that purpose) and then you go forth with everything missing you forever. Take Aid Self, skip hasten, put Practiced Brawler on Autofire... resits are running in the 25-55% range, before the 'scaling resist with decreasing health' kicks in. Now, where the money comes in - late, late game content comes with massive DEF Debuffs. They hand them out like candy. They are everywhere and they make baby jesus cry. Some spawns will floor a softcap RES character flat out, leaving them with just resistances to take damage on. SR Tanks are (if Pines is to be trusted!) very high on DEF Debuff Resistance, and can be driven to a higher starting defense - delaying or avoiding the DEF Collapse Cascade and the follow on debuffs that crush your resistance, regen, and everything else. I'll let you know how it goes in a month or never when I get it to 50. Going Claws for.. some good reason. Cause I miss claws and they made it better while I was away and I like the green arm blades. And who doesnt want good DPA Ranged Attacks on their melee toon? I played /Sr on both scrappers and brutes, both with claws as well. This was before incarnate stuff came around, though. I used them both for A.V. hunting. I'm rebuilding my scrapper now. The scaling resists are a dbl edged sword. When you're down to 40% health, and you want to pop a green skittle, but you know the scaling resists are making you more survivable. It's a fine line to dance, my friend.

Most ppl make builds where things like strength of will or other tier 9s are unnecessary. As far as the 44-50 lvls, Jack probably left those open for whatever you like. Ancillary Pool Powers are really a matter of personal taste. Edit: I just looked at Jacks build in Pines. He's got you one purple insp from softcapped def, at scrapper hardcap for s/l res, great regen. A very survivable scrapper with decent damage output. -
In granite, while you are nigh-indestructible, you can't step up on a sidewalk, you need tp. I also believe your damage is diminished. /WP or even /Inv can be built to be nearly as tough, without the drawbacks.

This is what I would do with IO sets. Notice in both builds you have a few more slots to add. With this one, you're one small purple away from being soft-capped to most typed def 50% res to s/l and a healthy regen number as well. Just looking on the phone real quick, I'd say some of your toggles are overslotted on end reduction. You generally only need one end reducer. In other toggles, you don't have any end reducers, I believe that was tough and weave. Those need an end reducer as well. Try 1 end redux, 3 res/def/heal. Also, I seem to remember someone knowledgable on the subject stating that it's not worth slotting the tohit debuff in Rttc. Keeping with the generic IO's, these are the changes I would make. I switched out Strength of Will for Manuevers. I personally never used it and respecced out of it. Plus, don't Paladins help shield their teammates? At one time, back in the day, there was a SG based on the Power Rangers. I think they even posted videos on youtube. Not sure if those are still around though. I was in a Bleach themed SG for a long time. Found it.

What about things like the Performance Shifter Proc? Does that still work as it used to?

I'm going to be soloing A.V.'s with my FM/Inv, which I may have mentioned before. I was capable of doing so way back in the day before incarnates, but figure, hey, this would make it a smidge easier. Now thematically Reactive works. It's DoT is fire, but I believe that fire is rarely resisted by A.V.'s anyway, except Infernal, so it may not offer as much benefit as I'm thinking it may. Of course a Regen debuff would be great. Help me get unstuck, please, and thanks.

Thanks, both of you for the advice. I decided to go with it, and am having a much easier time with end management. I can't wait to get fireball in there though. Just one AoE is killing me, lol.

Softcap for all AT's through the majority of content is 45% Softcap for incarnate is 59% I don't think anyone actually builds for the iSoftcap.

I have a FM/Inv Brute on blue side that I got to 38 last night, when it occurred to me, I don't know what epic pool power set to get. I would love another AoE, as frankly FSC just isn't enough, plus melt armor would help with AV's. I plan on going Pyronic, that would then give me three AoE's. The only reason I'm thinking Energy Mastery is for the extra end management. I'm 38 and still running low and dropping my toggles at times. I believe the accolades will help, but I just don't remember since the shutdown of the original game. With energy though, I could afford to run maneuvers, which would put me at the incarnate soft cap for s/l damager and 90% res to s/l. Advice is helpful.
