  1. I was thinking more along the lines of rotating server diminishes/boosts depending on what is ran the most. Basically content, TF, contacts and modes played more often would get a diminished value for the next content cycle while content, TF (SF!!), contacts and modes played very seldom get a boosted return for the next content cycle. So if AE is shown to be ran 55% among all content while the rest fit in the 45% side, AE would get a diminishing value for the week and if a certain contact or SF/TF is shown to have not been ran at all for multiple weeks, a bonus to that content would be added equivalent to the time/difficulty involved. Even if you yourself don't want to run the content despite the extra rewards it grants, you could at least gain solace that some scarce rag-tag villain group running those contacts that barely anyone even knows about are getting some extra benefits despite the lack of participants.

    Fire melee

I feel a bit apprehensive suggesting someone Savage Melee on Stalkers without also making note that, for all intent and purposes, the set is broken. Savage on Stalker is great but there's also a possibility some of what makes it great will be reigned in at some point just like Psi Melee for Tankers was recently corrected.
  3. "Greetings, apprentices and uninitiated. This is War Witch coming to you from Pocket D with some more ASMR goodness. Please like and subscribe to show your support for the channel." *sluuuuurp* *slurp* *gulp*
  4. Just to comment on the last part, power recharge can affect proc rate (but it depends how long the recharge is) while global recharge has no effect on proc rate. Other aspects taken into account: longer recharge powers tend to have higher proc rates. Shorter recharge powers tend to have lower proc rates. toggles use a different formula and act like 10sec recharge pulses that is used to calculate proc chance. Single Target powers have a higher base chance to proc. AoE powers have their proc rates altered by the size of their AoE (radius, range and arc). Cast time also is used in calculating proc rates. It's usually longer animating powers have better chances to proc. All procs are clamped at 90% chance at maxed.
  5. True, I could have written something milder but that just perfectly captured the essence of my reply without mincing meanings.
  6. I was actually pondering a different solution if the discontent is with partial chance KB. What if you untie the chance of KB from the target ToHit check completely and make it a player-defined proc? So the behavior would change from rolling a check-for-KB per target hit and 50% of the targets get KB and the other 50% doesn't to just check upon power activation and when activated 50% of the time, all targets hit are KB'ed and when not activated the other 50% of the time, no foes are KB'ed? Just an idea that I had modified for the inherent to a suggested AT of mine where he had a chance to reapply the 2ndary effects of a power but rather than a % per target like Criticals, it's a % chance the attack applies double the secondary effect to all targets hit.
  7. You're not wrong and I would never attack someone for some immutable aspect of their person or social group. But I certainly don't think it's harmful to call a bullshitter on their bullshit...so I suppose it depends what one actually defines as "harm". If it's any consolation, I get suspensions all the time on the Guild Wars 2 forums to the point I don't even bother posting their anymore. But their moderation is so lopsided and automated, you can get temp banned if enough accounts flag your posts. You can't even curse on their forums. But this is all off topic. I don't think anyone responded to my personal perspective that some sets can just benefit some ATs disproportionately as is the case with a variety of sets. If Energy Blast gets the same mitigation regardless of AT, that is simply a feature of EB.
  8. I have a Brute version. Seems alright to me. If you don't concern yourself with Combos too much (they are a guide line, not a boarder) if almost had too much AoE. The KD helps keep damage down. And concept-wise, he's one of my favorites.
  9. Go -1/x3 and ride the fury. AoE sets, I tend to aim for more lower levels. For stronger ST sets, I go fewer but higher level. All very obvious. Also, don't run all your toggles unless you need them. I don't know rad armor but I'm assuming it works just like other sets.
  10. I'm still quite proud of my mutant polar bear who developed cryokenisis to deal with the changing settings he's lived in here in Paragon. One might say "does he use ice melee?", no, he controls cold, not ice and the animations for Psi melee colored white looks like super cooled air, especially the tier 9 PBAoE that summons a heavy freezing updraft around him.
  11. Agreed. But I bet someone would respond with "if you kill them all faster... " or "with soft caps def, the need for this..." But there's one reason I just love Stalker beyond them being a former underdog and it is the gameplay of designating targeting priorities. Having to think and plan out which to dispose of first, what to placate /mez next, how your powers could affect this order (don't use AoE powers after placate if you want to keep the target off you, but do use them if you want the AoE crit) etc etc.
  12. Duly noted, but I hold higher value for free speech and willing to accept the consequences that come with it.
  13. You didn't fix anyone's grand standing. I just figured if I'm going to bust your balls for straight up lying, I'll wait for some of the infractions to drop off first. And why admit fault to a liar if they aren't even going to come half way and admit they are lying or at the least, over exaggerating. I may have crass posts at times but at least I don't have to lie to make my points. The negatives of KB tend to revolve around individual users be it their inability to utilize the KB for good or the inability for trigger happy min/max spammer players to just utilize more ST over AoE.
  14. Well forum moderators don't care if you're having fun here or not.
  15. But the aforementioned stalker combo (hide+SD) costs 0 END.
  16. I'm aware. If it was a slot option for your build, it might not be seen as so negative. I want to say there was a couple other iterations of stalker sets but my memory might be playing tricks.
  17. Before you roll one of those, if recommend looking at stalker. What makes BS good is the crits, as the set has longer rech but meaty damage. It just so happens stalkers can control their crits very well and with instant rech on BU, you can get the most out of those hard hitting attacks. Pair it with Shield or bio or elec, they all benefit from the extra def.
  18. Savage leap is a PBAoE just like any other PBAoE. LR and SC are placed targeted AoE's that summon a pseudo-pet. Other ouddities, I believe, is that those pseudo-pets have damage caps limited to pet damage caps so if your AT has a higher cap, you top out and can't go higher than the pet cap.
  19. Wouldn't mind an ATO for stalkers that removes the quick AS but gives that functionality to do a % of the target's health depending on their rank. Weak against minions and LTs, around the same for Bosses but really powerful on anything above.
  20. Personally curious about putting procs on Lightning Rod, Shield Charge and Thunderstrike. I heard the aforementioned Tele-nukes don't do much with procs.
  21. Try a Tanker then.
  22. Knock down last even less time that kb and the pro is that it can take effect without stacking magnitude. And if something is knocked out of range of some AoE, there exists single target effects and single target focused sets for a reason. You can come up with whatever fringe scenario of how KB is so negative and I bet you any amount of money that I can name another fringe scenario where KB saved me or was just a net positive.
  23. Maybe I'm dense but, the obvious advantage you willfully dismiss is that a foe knocked to the ground is a for unable to act. Everything you just said is countered by that one fact.
  24. Am I the only poster with a furry avatar? Check out my profile for more furryness. If you suggest knockback is mostly negative on teams, I ask for what? Negative in what way? Negative to what purpose? If you say team efficiency I'll just reply who cares? You want to go fast? Pick up stealth, go to the mission objective and solo it. You want to maximize your AoE? Solo your own spawns. You want to maximize your rewards? Go join a farm or just farm yourself. If the purpose is to kill everything ASAP, I ask: What the fuck is the rush for? This isn't a standard subscription MMO. You're not losing money playing this game. All the rewards are cheap, a farmer can earn a full tricked out build in a day. So why the F do you need to min/max everything? I could elaborate on the various positives of KB but it's pointless if the only thing you care about is a useless race to a goal that doesn't exist.
