  2. if youve not seen elsewhere, in my amazing forum posts: these two are essential (to me) for AT where theres a mix of pbaoe and ranged. the third is useful as a ghetto travel power. 1/ combat to to target: /bind ` powexec_location target combat teleport 2/ teleport backwards 50 feet: /bind shift+` powexec_location 180:50 combat teleport it lets you hop in and away very quickly. 2/ is smart enough to hop you up onto a ledge, or clip tge distance if you cant get a full 50 feet. i use 50 because center if mob to near circumferance of cone with some extra for the back of mobs on a 60-80ft cone. adjust to your needs. 3/ ghetto travel power: /bind alt+` powexec_location 0:100 combat teleport ^ hop forward 100ft. results in very rapid movement, for 3 hops at least.

  4. dont be awful. @The Mighty Paladin talks about trying recolours in their 2nd post... so, wizards, and control (though theyre enjoying corruptor): 1. symphony has a good mix and an echo pet. 1,a. ice has very distinct visuals, i.e. youll not be confused its ice, but does not recolor well. 2. sorcery pool does runic cast like animations. 3. you should be able to mix in another element on pretty much any AT with an epic power pool (pvl 35 plus, you need to unlick some of these via an epic patron pool mission chain) sure youll manage.
  5. ya, ahould have said. no levitate. mesmerize is higher mag sleep (4 -> 8), and longer range. levitate is on a delay, its annoying. mass hypnosis doesnt notify.
  6. C is 100, like with centurion, an officer in charge of 100 soldiers, or century, 100 years. of 100 cents in a USD. count to 3, then one down from 5, then 5. I II III IV V VI ... XL (10 from 50 = 40) L (50) XLVII (10 from 50 and 5+2, 47) XCI (91 - 10 from 100 and 1) CDXCV (495 - 100 from 500, and (10 from 100) and 5)
  7. shield charge teleports you to a foe you use it on, and does an aoe around where you end up. spring attack in leaping does a teleport attack similarly. savage assault / melee have a teleport attack - that one does more damage the further you are away when you use it. electric melee has a telwport aoe attack, similar to shield charge. elec melee / shield are a popular combo, primarily because of these two teleportation attack powers.
  8. potentially consider symphony, its a mind mk2 in several ways and a vampire bat shrieks etc. Telekinesis pulses mag 6 under dom, its a base for mag stacking that is particularly effective on harder targets, it only picks up 5 mobs, but is good. mass hypnosis is extremely quick. it is inferior to elec controls patch, or symphonys cone (because that does a -dmg component, and reverberant can double up your cone) i used to enjoy mind a lot, still do, but symphony has eclipsed it for me. if you want heart of darkness, combat teleport can get you in and out of groups for pbaoe quickly. /bind ` powexec_location target combat teleport /bind shift+` powexec_location 180:50 combat teleport (warp back 50ft) midnight grasp and smite are quick 2 hit combo at melee. heart of darkness doesnt do enough damage. nightfall is thin cone, but long. it works particularly well with eanging on terrorize, or nearly all of symphony primary. ^ build for eldrich figs (symphony / dark assault dom) 1st deaft quality, ive refined a few things as i level. for a vampire, vs mind, id strongly consider symphony.
  9. backwards is without the me. /bind shift+` powexec_location 180:50 combat teleport <-- that'd move you directly back (180 degrees from front facing, 50ft this helps tremendously with needing to flit in and out of melee for blaster, dominator, controller with pbaoe and cones, or anyone really. you could go up to 100 ft, but 50 feet back if your in a mob is probably going to position you optimally for some catch of the 10-20 feet behind on a 60-80 ft cone. adjust to your liking.
  10. you'll accumulate charged of ststic from using stuff, and that affects the number of jumps some chaining skills will do. youll be fine in practice, but if theres a gang war or ghost summon going on, chain may exhaust itself on those little summons. i wouldnt worry about it though. robots healer drones cannot be healed, so one might suppose theyre a drop less optimal for ea, as (i dont know this for a fact) theyll consume chain jumps which do nothing. for your buffs, should work well on any pet set. the amp up aoe is around the impact of a power, so whatever works and ideally attack rapidly through the duration. ea should be flexible for any pet set, it is a good one.

  12. dunno about scrapper - but its quite good on stalker, and amazing on tanker because of the larger aoes and target caps. rad armor/staff pretty special
  13. helluva boss - a youtube show. its quite good. its about assassins for hire, who live in hell, and kill other demons for cash.

  15. as far as being super famous and speaking for the people as a whole, ya, probably. I'm honoroit! you've probably heard of me in game. kind, magnanimous, noble forest spirit. all those things. but ya, kick/punch in the way of tough / weave gotta go, kupo.

  17. it wasn't, it isn't - its just these conservator folks keep pushing back on all change (except beanbag -> aim, because they like that one) honoroit - (best) vox populi, who's lungs are filled with honesty
  18. why the poster wants to fly, is something they know. sounds fun. none of their choices diminish what stands alone - fighing kick/punch is in the way, and becomes a dud pick with nearly every time fighting is chosen. its like 'run/fly a little fast' / 'jump a little bit' before health and stamina in that regard.
  19. they're misbehaving on purpose, and yet some among the very same are hard at a desire for beanbag > aim (which mashes blast set diversity, the arguement being 'no one uses beanbag'). so hear me now and listen, kupo! reworking the fighting pool is long overdue. probably 9/10 (or more, including tanks) builds I see here, and definately 90% or more of my characters, over years here, have an unused/unbarred/barred-for-lols-on-the-anim kick or punch. i hate how it is so much I won't even call it 'boxing'. but that's what it does to builds. and it should go. so that you can fly. which sounds fun. -- honoroit, THE power pool balance expert. recipient of the power pool balance award badge, 2020-2023
  20. im not sure this is a certainty. whats going on: 1/ level reqs for fighting pool remain. one may simply select tough/weave at appropriate level, and weave can have a 1 prior requirement. tough becomes accessible with 0 prereq. (least pactful to restrictions, more complex implement) 2/ punch/kick are moved further in the fighting set, and tough/weave become 1st 2 choices (less likely for balance, earlier level availability, easier to implement) -- what results? you can pick tough/weave WITHOUT needing punch / kick. horray! -- honoroit, power pool balance expert

  22. ya, its awful isnt it. think of the build diversity we miss out on because punch. (and no dont drop all prereqs... but on fighting yes, or reorder away punch and kick)
