If those robots would actually put up a solid fight, I'd be greatly impressed. Some of the most fun I've had in other MMOs was taking on a GM-equivalent that was truly capable of dismantling a league's worth of player characters, and actively proving it. I realize 31 of those would make it either impossible or lasting hours as the players chipped away from the outer edge, but I'd still be intrigued.

Well, with the Freaks there's "Lotus.xls". The poor bloke apparently couldn't decide which office suite to bet on, and ended up with a name mostly reflecting the losing suite.

The Family are known for nicknaming their guys: Big Toe Fred, 'Spats' Malone, Johnny No-Nose (ouch), Joey 'The Shirt', Mickey 'The Magic Man' Maloney...so how "vanilla" does a poor sap have to be that the only nickname The Family can think of is Johnny 'No-Nickname'?

The Hollywood Reporter cites the same source as proof: Momoa's comment "They called." It doesn't say "They gave it to me". The wording could have meant only that dialog has been opened. Though I almost always see IMDB as a good source, it is not always accurate. I cannot cite a specific movie, as I never thought I'd have to reference this, and it has been a while at that, but I have seen movies before where someone rushes to post cast information in IMDB.com that has proven incorrect, and sometimes deliberately misleading. I'm not saying this is the case here, just that the best sources are the official studio mouthpiece, or James Gunn. Which leads to the discovery that James Gunn apparently confirmed Momoa as Lobo via X. I do not use X (or Instagram, Momoa's choice, for that matter) I've only been able to see a Lobo drawing posted to Gunn's X account. I assume this is part of that confirmation, especially with the date/time stamp. Looking forward to Momoa in action again. It's been interesting watching him develop over the years. I first encountered him in Stargate: Atlantis, where he played the strong, mostly quiet type. Aquaman had him much more vocal and animated. Lobo is going to push that over the top.

He does. Depending on how he's handled, Krypto would be equal to Ma & Pa Kent or Lois Lane: important, possibly vital to the story, but not the focus. There's a number of Krytonian elements that might be included, Krypto, Supergirl, bottled Kandor, survivors in the Phantom Zone, etc. (I believe there was even a Kryptonian monkey at one point), but I suspect @Ghost is basically saying "keep the main thing, the main thing". Be laser-focused on the one character, since his name carries the title. If enough of the Justice League and Kryptonian stuff is brought in, the movie then becomes an ensemble work, more or less, which makes having a single-character title a bit absurd. That said, I'm personally intrigued to see Krypto in live action, and wonder how they'd carve out a character that's more than just a character clone of Lassie or Rin-Tin-Tin with powers.

I agree, though consider, it's likely a matter of perspective. To the TV viewer, and a lot of folks in the 'Verse, Mal's a vigilante: prefers the peaceful route (shoot, even his ship name does double-duty as a memorial and a desire), willing, if pressed to it, to do the dirty work. To the Alliance, he's a rogue: annoying thorn in their side, but usually not worth the trouble, and after events in the movie Serenity, might even be perceived as a villain to them.

Superherohype.com lives up to its name at times, making huge hype over less-than-solid facts, but I find this one intriguing. I still think it's hype. There's no true official confirmation from Gunn or the studio actually mentioned in the article, just Jason Momoa's slightly cryptic comment, but I can definitely see him in the role. I like Nicholas Hoult, or at least what works of his I've seen, so I'll give him a good chance. That said, casting for Luthor has not always been the greatest. Just putting a good actor into that role doesn't guarantee a good fit. It's too bad Jeff Bridges is too old for the role. After seeing his Obadiah Stane in Iron-Man, I think he'd have made a great Lex Luthor.

Might we get a costume option where the cape does not exist (or is completely invisible) but the brooches are available? I'm not sure about the double-shoulder brooch arrangement, but I could see several good uses for the single brooch, both centered and off-centered (shoulder). Several of the brooches have a recognizable look, such as the lightning bolt, rocket, crown, and crescent, and would provide another decorative option on their own without forcing the player to take a cape. Three other options with the suggestion: 1. Have a left-shoulder option as well as a right shoulder. 2. Have an optional neck chain for the centered brooch, so that it appears to be hanging from the neck chain. 3. If the concept is adapted, add additional recognizable shapes to the brooch list (Eagle or Eagle's head, hammer & sickle, snake, leaf(s), heraldry lion, etc.)

And combined, the costume jetpacks give a flame animation, which I've found completely sufficient to the need. That said, I'd always be open for additional costume jetpacks to reflect a variety of sci-fi styles.

I agree, but it is what it is. That's why I switched over to ImgBB for all future pics, and have very gradually been chipping away at moving my old pics over, though as I increase space again, there are a select few I feel worth using the forum storage.

Knowing rival factions often fight each other, this should be theoretically possible to test, should it not? It would be a pain to set up, but if a GWW was primed, and players dropped a Kronos into Boomtown and kited it to GWW...

Watching it now. 1st episode was mediocre. Sorry, but it's my two cents worth. Underway in second episode and I love that they took the Howard Stark/ Howard Hughes parallels one step farther by having Stark delve into Hollywood.
