  1. Seconded this. Email is not working on either account. (was working at time I last logged off before Issue 28, about 3am EST this morning). Cannot send to self, cannot send to other. Rebooted game multiple times and no improvement. Was trying to transfer funds to other characters and ended up using characters from each account to transfer funds. That method did work, so it wasn't an issue with the funds, at least in general. Both my accounts have spaces in the global names, so I can't test that element of it as described by @Midnight Mystique. I'm on a Windows 10 Pro computer if that has anything to do with it.
  2. Also, Earth-616 is the comic book universe. Earth-199999 is the film/Disney+ universe. I'm aware of some film characters apparently calling it "616" but there are significant differences between the two, and the comic books were here first. Additionally, there's a jibe to the MCU Spider-man in Spider-man: Across the Spider-verse that refers to him as "199999". I don't know why Marvel muddied the waters. EDIT: for a list of universes, including 199999 with description, here's the Wiki page. It notes under Earth-616 that "616" was a lie told by MCU Mysterio.
  3. Only if we get as options: And um.... Hmmm.... *Runs off to make thread about accordions*
  4. Ah, I'd thought the "remains of Ouroboros" scene was in the immediate aftermath of the Coming Storm. Like the big O got its clock cleaned, and as the Storm moved on, passing into the galactic distance, the events with Mender Ramiel in the far distant future, played out. Which meant everything else were waves of destruction leading to that specific destruction.
  5. 1) I'm pretty sure they prefer to be referred to as "sorcerers" 😏 3) Why do you think Howard talks about Steve Rogers all the time in front of Tony? 😉 2) It's actually crazier than that, because it means that at least Steve Rogers has to sit on the knowledge that SHIELD is being infiltrated by that parasite HYDRA, and do nothing, allowing thousands to die to preserve the timeline. If he's told Peggy or even Howard, then they all have to refuse to act. Alternatively, if Steve did create a splinter timeline, then he could tell Peggy and Howard and they'd clean house. Then pretty much everything changes, starting with the rescue of Bucky and thereby Howard Stark as well.
  6. I'm not opposed to this, so long as we don't get another milquetoast powerset. That said, I suspect the number of Joker license violations will go through the roof. I might have to reserve a spot for a Hobbit stalker if this set ever gets announced. It would be my homage to Lord of the Rings Online, just like my dwarf warrior homage to WoW.
  7. Even if nothing further was ever done with the concept, I'd love to learn any details of a roadmap the OG developers had, assuming there was one. Whatever it was going to be, the vision/bodysliding that the Mender offers you has us realizing that the ultimate portions are still 5,000 years away, I believe it was. So we probably never would have dealt with the final stage anyway in the life of the game, unless the big O's efforts, or perhaps the Midnighter's efforts changed things enough that 5,000 became 5.
  8. tidge, certainly no offense intended, but you do understand that this statement comes across like a reason, more like 3 reasons, with some merit towards actually alter the current arrangement, yes? 1) "for its era" (antiquated) 2) "when debt worked differently" (alteration affects balance) 3) "leveling/teaming options were fewer" (alteration affects balance) I'm not saying there's a case for change, mind you. I've no dog in this fight, as I generally avoid the Hollows having spent far too long in it during the original game. I do enjoy occasionally helping out on the Frostfire take-down, but that's about it. Were I to go at it again, use of Oroboros would be sufficient for me.
  9. WoW also had/has flagged PvP, which sounds like the way to go if the OP's concept were to be carried out. The only other way I could see would be if there were instanced zones for the opposing side to ramble around in. We've got splinters of this already in the vault robbery paper contact missions, but it's always a fraction of a zone, and with a specific setup.
  10. And yet, Steve Rogers returned to the past and stayed there. So...was he actually the secret father to Peggy's kids seen in photos in The Winter Soldier? Was Peggy playing dumb for timeline reasons? Or did he create a separate timeline, and if so, how did he figure out which timeline/universe to return to so (after so much time and presumably other splinters) that Sam could get the shield? Honestly, I think the MCU creators deliberately muddy the waters so that there is a lot of debate and squabbling over the issue, but any chance at a rock-solid answer is unreachable. Yes, that's even with the events of Loki which still left a few questions as to "well how did that work, because..."
  11. They should have. That said, the Dominion had to go through a certain wormhole, and well, time-suspending super aliens are almost as good, and a lot less messy. Time travel: really not necessary in the MCU. Why? Because they've already established the multi-verse. When they either conclude or more likely mess up Earth-199999 there's no need to time travel reboot, simply either: (a) have America (the star-portal universe jumper, not the nation) vacate the universe and bring the camera with her to another universe or (b) have a character/team visit Earth-199999 from another universe, return home, and the camera shifts to them and their cosmic vine. Either way, have Jeffery Wright make a live action cameo as the Watcher shifting his gaze to this new universe to solidify the decision to move along. Doing so, you admittedly leave what's hated in place, but you also don't mess with what is beloved. All the stakes that were in place with each story still remain in place for future viewers, but we get to tell all new tales of our favorite characters, and have all new actors playing them.
  12. There was a Calendar and Events feature? Why do I not remember that?
  13. I've been told the 1966 TV show Batman wanted to do Clayface, but obviously that presented some practical effects challenges for their day. So they opted to create a master of disguise they called False Face. While I'm sure that name will not pass the game rules, perhaps it will serve as inspiration. As to mythology, the Greek sea deity Proteus is known for mutability. and his name is used for concepts and functions involving change. I believe Marvel has locked down the name using a character, and even our game has Protean, a shape shifter. But again, perhaps it will serve as inspiration.
  14. I've played No Man's Sky off and on over the past 5 years, and tabled it earlier this year thinking I was satiated. They just announced a new expansion "Worlds Part 1": improved graphics, new water and atmospheric conditions, new creatures, new plants, improved bioms, etc. In regards to the creatures, he mentions that some of this update was inspired by Starship Troopers. You can see some of that when you see the new bugs. I'm wondering if there's a story to follow with these. Possibly an invasion similar to the inspiration material? What gets me is this is part 1. No idea what's in part 2, but I'm hoping for new story material, characters, and missions. I'll have to go back in soon to see if it truly refreshes my experience, but the trailer scenes are quite impressive.
  15. That's been tabled until they can figure out how to get it scruffy enough.
  16. Curious that it is coming out on Sept. 6, not even Labor Day, Sept. 2. I'd have thought it a stronger draw if it was placed at the start of October, or at least the last week of September, to run for a month before Halloween. I wonder why Sept. 6 was chosen?
  17. He's 60. It's a full-faced mask, they'll put a younger actor in the action sequences. This same tactic was used for the combat sequences of Saruman in The Hobbit, when actor Christopher Lee was 90. If you've not seen it, the character has some very physical combat sequences, which Lee could never have done, but makes sense from a lore standpoint where the wizards only appear as old men, but are actually immortal beings. If I recall correctly, they used a rubber mask resembling Lee to cover the stunt actor's face, then made sure to never film the character's face directly during combat. If however, you're talking about an old guy Spidey, that's what I mentioned earlier is intriguing, because we most always see a teen Spider-man or at least in his 20s.
  18. It's Ralph Lauren doing it, and they've got Polo icons on the left chest big enough that they can probably be seen by whatever sports blimp will be in the area. 🙄 You'd think it was 1984 or something. Actually, when you mentioned "yachting" I was expecting Nautica. I'm now starting to look for other countries' uniforms. Great Britain's track uniforms are by Addidas, and honestly they look a bit uninspiring, with the font for the country's name looking like someone was playing with the free fonts website. IMHO, Britain deserves better. The GB dress uniforms are also a little bland, but a second glance reveals some nice highlights. There's some nice embroidery on the back of the bomber-style jacket, in an arrangement of the four countries plant symbols. They apparently also have an alternate outfit with a casual Polynesian shirt style. Canada's is by lululemon. Not really feeling it. Ooohhh...Philippines has a great design for their boxers. Would love to see that "sling" brought into the game's wardrobe as well. I wonder if that would classify as a chest overlay or a shoulder? Haiti has an interesting design in the ceremonial uniform. I'm not sure what to make of the Mary Poppins boots however. South Korea has a great pattern on the ceremony outfit, but unfortunately, it will be on the inside lining of the jacket where no one will really see it. Ah, well, there's probably more great ones out there. I'm not a clothes horse so for me this is unusual. I guess my interest is in what could be ported over to game costuming.
  19. What's your enhancement build on this Betty? What I've seen so far is impressive.
  20. These are just on another level. Whomever designed these is not paid enough. Um...how soon can we have these in the iCon store? 😁 https://www.boredpanda.com/team-mongolia-viral-olympic-games-uniforms/
  21. In Paramount's case I would add: writers who don't even know basics about space or physics. I'd mention names, but JJ Abrams has already made himself something of a punching bag.
  22. Doing another tentpole character movie is expensive and might not be the way to go, especially with audiences showing some fatigue for big name characters. I'd tell them to take a page from the results of Guardians of the Galaxy, (James Gunn, see what I did there?) and make big-name characters from lesser-known characters. Film The Question (the Vic Sage version). With a solid script, there's not a huge need for CGI effects (I'm guessing they could even figure out a practical effect for the face), so low budget, high returns. The character already has a bit of a built-in following after appearing in Justice League Unlimited, and his knock-off from Watchmen only heightens the curiosity of others.
  23. Stateside, and no personal need. I assemble computers for a living (Business computers, but still). But I applaud your kind effort for another.
  24. 100% this. Hollywood has some very talented makeup artists. I'm not the hater of CGI that others are, I still shudder at how long we keep Harryhausen stop-motion, but makeup is a practical effect. Even an actor of 70 might get another 3 or 4 films in covering the role. Not that I like insidious Ross... Which is strange. Even with the hurt to themselves that the MCU team has done this phase, they can still muster just about any person they want: actor, writer, director, producer, etc. They have a rich published lore from which to work. There's no reason to be randomly tossing stuff and hoping for the best.
  25. Where are those found? Must have pulled this Echo right after THE iconic moment:
