  1. I suppose I could go full sets instead of the proc bombs listed, since proc bombs is exactly what they are planning to nuke at some point in the future. Vigor would lose its appeal then.
  2. Should be, yes, like all other powersets. If corruptors have equal or superior versions to defenders then something is broken. That's the main draw for playing defenders over corruptors, well, that and the strength of the Leadership pool. Leadership is superior on defenders over any other archetype in the game.
  3. No, all versions are changed. The numbers will be different just like they were always different before the patch between ATs.
  4. Sorry my post was about the build that was posted
  5. Little bit end hungry with Tactics on, but it might help Ice Arrow hit since it has a tohit check with zero accuracy in it, in fact there is very little accuracy in the majority of attacks I notice - I suppose Vigor can make up for this issue which also cuts end costs.
  6. Can anyone help with an TA/AR build?
  7. I always asked for the cooldown to be just a little shorter on EMP but I am fine with the rest.
  8. He has said it should not affect the caster. It used to and wasn't supposed to so it was changed during closed alpha/beta. In fact it used to spawn a cage on every enemy during development which was kind of funny to see, so it's been through a number of fixes/changes.
  9. Having a set be slot-starved due to having so many good powers is typically a good thing. Glue becoming a cone is kind of a cool idea and would take care of the issue where mobs run into glue and aren't affected at the moment (as they weren't in the cone when it hit.) Having a power like Acid get -resist back wouldn't be a problem if it was single target, which is why Entangling has it and I am fine with it. Still wish EMP would have a slightly faster cooldown.
  10. Yes this has been reported a few times - hope to see a fix soon
  11. One thing we brought up several times is the question of how these changes can affect leveling a mastermind specifically, because of the set's past issues of weaker mitigation. Just something to keep in mind for those trying it now in open beta
  12. Honestly I am happy to see how understanding the community has been in this thread so far. A lot of power players knew how OP the set was and officially publicly have known nerfs were coming since April. Constructive feedback is great.
  13. One other bug that was mentioned on the closed alpha/beta forums beyond the MaxEnd being bugged is that Disruption Arrow fired in the air now drops via gravity and takes fall damage as a pseudopet.
  14. It won't, but I am eager for you to try the changes when they hit. I can make generalizations about Energy Melee and Trick Arrow - I think many will enjoy what's been done. I spent a good chunk of time on Trick Arrow specifically. Energy Melee is not bottom-of-the-barrel anymore - some of the loooong standing concerns have been addressed. Trick Arrow is much better and it was already a fun set. I only found one power change that is rather odd but beyond that I will wait until they post about it to say anything else out of respect for the hard work the team put in.
  15. I admit being out of the loop on SoA; I was not aware they weren't doing well
  16. As far as AT overhauls go, I think a good number of people will easily put Masterminds and Sentinels at the top of the list, at least above controllers, dominators, and kheldians. Dominators may just need number tweaks after the previous overhaul if they are still underperforming though so it might be low hanging fruit if they track play results. Poison, Traps, and Force Fields need looking at also. Sonic Resonance could use some love, as well as Sonic Attack and maybe some slight changes to Assault Rifle. Porting sets via (hopefully) smaller overhauls are still there like Super Strength, Stone Armor, Energy Armor, Stone Melee, etc.
  17. ...to be fair, a few of the 'nerfs' were known publicly here since at least April of this year: namely Titan Weapons and Tactical Arrow - because the devs told us they would be (and Titan W fans - you knew this was coming come on)
  18. Does it hide it from everyone or just myself? My guess is they were disabled to prevent bumps, but in the end I think that's a rather weak reason.
  19. EDIT: forums are freaking out, double post. Why can't we delete posts?
  20. Can confirm. Some of my requests and discussions were not only listened to, but verbally agreed to on the forums, PMs, and development changes were made in closed alpha/beta.
  21. Great news: you can develop your own version of CoH nowadays so you will never have to bother with this.
  22. Last I heard you could use all of your incarnate abilities on non-incarnate content...
  23. Power creep was planned and designed intentionally. We only got half of the announced incarnate abilities. Now it's true that they also expected to have harder content for those abilities but power creep was definitely intentional.
