  1. Pretty much. I mean, you can eventually make it worth something with IO's, however, it will never stack up to literally any other powerset in game. It does perform rather well in 1v1 PvP though, so then there is that. But honestly, PvP is dead in this game, it has been dead ever since the Diminishing Returns nerf. The best PvPers this game has ever seen left this game a very long time ago due to the nerfs. You have a few players of today that PvP, but it's a very small circle of players and what they are PvPing with in this game is a husk of what it once was....so not sure how much time I would waste with that...if any.
  2. My man, I just tried to have this conversation and for reasons far beyond my comprehension, there are some posters here who think the set is just fine and dandy despite what the rest of us know to be true...the set is trash, it has been trash since issue 5 and will continue to be for the duration of this game. Why is that? Because Regeneration is just one of those sets that will never be fixed until literally nobody is left riding the "Regeneration is fine" train; meaning, there cannot be a single player who thinks it is fine, otherwise a fix to the set will never happen. It is the red headed stepchild of sets, most likely due to the way it performed pre i5, and it left a bad taste in people's mouths...except for the players who loved it. So in short answer, the set is what it is and it will very highly likely remain as is.
  3. After reading this, it's time for me to get....
  4. And still miss the guy.
  5. I seem to recall this power having -knock back in it at one time in the way way way far back years of the set. I could be wrong, but even theme wise, it just doesn't make any sense for the set to not have -knock back in it. So why was it removed? If it was not removed, and I am just remembering wrongly, then why does it not have it? As of right now, it is the only reason I won't play the set. I locked down my mobs and then over and over again watched them get scattered by knock back...so I checked the stats on it, seen it did not have -knock back in the immobilize power and trashed the character. So what is going on with this set?
  6. Just a little something something, still in early stages, only 4 powers affected so far. Long way to go, nothing set in stone so don't get your hopes up or down, but...
  7. On second thought, it shouldn't matter, I have the file name, it doesn't matter which CoH Folder it is in, heh. Sorry, I was insanely sleepy last night, so wasn't running on all cylinders, lol
  8. So the only ones I am finding are the ones that do not have "Male" in the name. I made a test mod and found that two are being used for each attack. I hear my mod, but the other one that I am unable to find are still playing over top of it. you all are still using the original game files, yes? I checked in all the folders I could find containing pigg files and no luck finding the files listed with the "Male" in the file names. 😞
  9. I just want to add, because of that (even though it is hardly an effective way of killing anything) we now have the travel power suppression. Before that we could move instantly after attacking.
  10. Just found them, thank you. For the life of me I somehow thought that the sounds used for Symphony Control was a unique sound only to the set, which is why I overlooked TOV as a possible option to search through. While searching, I just seen TOV and skipped right past all of those. This helped greatly, tyvm! Symphony Orchestra Mod will soon be on the way. 🙂
  11. I will check them out when I finish this Task Force, tyvm, @Michiyo!
  12. Well, first thing is first, I have to locate those files and I am usually very good at it.Unfortunately I am almost convinced those sounds are client side though. I can't find them anywhere.
  13. Well, that was my plan, but....if I can't locate the files, that won't be happening, lol.
  14. Yeah, it's working now, but it was not working when my wife and I first logged in. I figured that out when I tried to form a team and nothing showed up in LFG chat. So not sure what was going on, but it's working now.
  15. Okay, now it seems to be working, but before however it was not. Server hiccup maybe?
  16. Just logged in and it would seem that LFG chat is not working for me nor my wife....anyone else having this issue?
  17. Spent a few hours trying to locate the SFX files for this power-set and at this point, I am convinced that the Dev team has set it server side. Anyone else have any luck?
  18. Somebody...wants to trip on Superadine.
  19. *Peaks over at the list of fancy binds* Hmmm, got one of them there binds that makes it...you know...ignore enemies behind you?
  20. How many times have you fired off a targeted AoE, and right when you hit the button to fire it off, your target dies and your character turns around behind you to target that lone NPC (Clockwork are notably famous for this) instead of another target directly in front of you? Probably quite a lot I would imagine. Frustrating as hell, isn't it? Would be great to set auto targeting (which happens when you click your powers that require targets) to auto chose a target that is within a 20* arc line of sight of you instead of that NPC behind you and by itself.
  21. I was working on a mod for it, however, after searching the files and checking around, I don't seem to able to figure out where those files are or what the file names are. Last I heard, nobody else has either. I am starting to think these sounds are client side, which if true would be a shame. I put in a message to Number 6 and got no reply as of yet, so still unsure if it can even be done or not yet...and I am usually really good at hunting down those file types, no dice yet.
  22. If the devs would just add the tab...since folks don't use it because they are either unaware of it or...well...people are lazy, heh. Either way, adding a default tab for it would be great. And if the reason for not adding said tab is because, "farming is not supported by Homecoming" as one such individual has stated, then perhaps folks should not be conducting an unsupported activity on the LFG channel?
  23. It would reach like-minded people...instead of people that want nothing to do with it.
