  1. Some guys like blonds, some guys like brunettes, lol.
  2. Considering you are not booting them from a team over it, I think they'll be okay, lol.
  3. For starters, before anyone jumps down my interwebs throat, this is not a "This game is full of bots" accusation thread. However, it would seem the hysteria is starting up and some believe that there is a problem with it. So I pose the question, is this really a problem? I have personally never seen anyone running any bots in this game. Not once. I have seen obvious bots in every game I have ever played that was online, but never this one. However, that didn't stop somebody of accusing me of botting today. A certain individual (won't say their name, not trying sick anyone on them) today was advertising an ITF, Kill Most and I sent them a tell asking them to invite me and Stellarverse, who is played by my wife. Well, for truth's sake, she is not really my wife, but we live together and she might as well be my wife...just in case somebody wants to call me out on that and use that to discredit me...that info is now out there. However, after a very long wait, they send a tell back to me asking if Stellarverse is my bot...I reply with, "No, she's my wife." After another pause, I finally get an invite. I got the first invite, started to head to Steel Canyon from Brickstown and made it to Midnighter's Club before she got her invite. I get to the ITF contact and wait for her to get there as well. Once she arrives, I get a tell from the team leader telling me, "seriously we don't need two tankers with exact levels and builds." For disclosure purposes, my wife and I run an Elec/Energy Tank, exact same builds, both level 50 and both geared to the teeth. I'm an experienced player, she's still learning, that is the only difference. I respond by simply quitting and telling my wife to quit. I thought that was just purely dumb to have an issue with that, but whatever, it's their team, not mine, so to hell with it. I sent them a tell afterwards (my mistake, I should have just let it go, but the ignorance was too much for me to just say nothing.) informing them that was just a dumb reason to not want somebody on a team, but okay, whatever. That was when I found out the real reason they didn't want us on the team, the accusations of being a player with a bot started flying, calling me a liar, telling me I was being dishonest, telling me that I am stupid and being deceptive. At this point, my mind was blown. I was thinking to myself, 'there is no way this person can be serious right now? A bot? Really?' So now, I just have to ask, is botting a problem in this game or was this person just being paranoid over nothing? I have never once seen a bot in this game, the only bot I know of is @Bionic_Flea, lol. On a side note, that interaction didn't sit well with my wife, she was pretty upset about it. I can't say I blame her, but can I blame the leader of that team, or is botting really a problem?
  4. You feel sorry for them that they don't team up? Some people prefer to solo, that is nothing to feel sorry for them for. People tend to ease in to team play rather than dive in head first. Some people don't like to team at all.
  5. I have said and have always said; Flux. Outcasts should be a part of their own Task Force. After almost 20 years of people raiding the Frostfire mission Office building, I think they should get a little payback...or at least try. 😉
  6. I'm sure the Devs could add an option to turn down particle effects or any other option that makes powers fade depending on how high the slider is.
  7. Okay, I see you have already been educated a bit, so disregard my last transmission. 🙂
  8. First): It is absolutely not the only set that Sleeps, have you not taken a look at Ice? How about Elec or Plant? Second): Sleep is utterly useless with the exception of Elec's version of it, which continuously applies Sleep even after Sleep is broken. Players love to attack things...and for some reason they especially love to attack things that have just been put to Sleep. It's a pointless power. Elec fixed that with their version, sadly, it was not applied to other powersets, so Elec has the only truly useful Sleep. The only real use for Sleep that I can see is the fact that Sleep will drop toggles of NPCs that have no resistance to it, such as the Ruin Mages.
  9. Honestly, I don't have any plans at all to take the T9. Melee Core Embodiment and a couple of oranges can fill those shoes just fine and it doesn't come with a crash. On paper, this build with proper inspiration juggling (when debuffs are applied) should be capable of handling just about anything...with some skill of course. Now that part....I can't promise, lol.
  10. That is great to know, thank you very much. 🙂
  11. My thinking is this): Their resistances/Defenses are close to the same. However, one build depends on mobs being near them, the other does not. Since I don't plan to take Teleport (or any of those powers) in to my build, I have no way to gather back mobs outside of Taunt if my team scatters the mobs with a Knock Back. Because of this, I am thinking I would rather have a build that is self sufficient and does not require mobs being near me for any other reason than maintaining aggro. What I am trying to figure out is this...is there a viable reason to take Radiation Armor over Elec Armor for end game content? Have Elec Tanks proven themselves to be viable adversaries against end game content? Is it worth it to take Radiation Armor over Electric Armor?
  12. The Resists on Elec is impressive. With a quick build I was able to get 90 resist to all but Negative and Toxic, with Negative being at 70 and toxic being at 44%. I was able to get my Melee defense up to 41%, Regen at 450% with max HP at 2635 with a 922 Absorb. So Elec vs Rad....which one has higher survival with end game content?
  13. I run an Ice/Storm Corruptor and my significant other runs a Fire/Storm. We have picked up on a few things ourselves. I wonder if this accuracy difference was intentional since RoF does more damage than Ice Storm?
  14. One slot on both. I have never used more than one slot, not even on a Regeneration character. The values are not enough to waste a slot on for me.
  15. I wonder if that can be changed, or if that is something that is hard coded?
  16. A bit off topic, but I once knew a guy on live who rolled a Spines/Dark Scrapper and called himself "Togglemonster" lol.
  17. That is a shame if this is true, since Tactics is AoE and is supposed to affect all entities aligned with the Toggle Owner.
  18. That is something that cannot be copyrighted. We (everyone on the forums) keep saying copyright, but what this is truly all about is not copyright, but rather Intellectual Property. But no, green is not something that anyone can claim as their intellectual property, otherwise Image Comics and The Savage Dragon would have a lot of explaining to do, heh.
  19. Well, I have the shield wall of knowing Superadine is a drug in this game. 🙂 You do have a point, if memory serves, Superadine is also green in color, most likely an invention in combination with Bane's Venom and Hulks Gamma Radiation.
  20. I have had a few folks in game tell me that RoF and Ice Storm does not need accuracy except for in PvP. I could have sworn this was changed at some point? Somebody mind ending this debate once and for all please?
  21. I'm actually glad you brought this up. Lately me and my significant other was running the Hollows missions (all the way through Atta and his Guards) and as we were rolling through it made me realize how pitiful the zone mobs are in there. It's supposed to be a Hazard zone but because of the mob's levels and how they are grouped, it is now more like a playground. There is no fear associated with traveling around in the Hollows, it doesn't bring that edge of your seat feeling anymore. I would love to see this changed.
