  1. Well, no, you're wrong, but let's get into that. If I wasn't a trappermind intentionally not using poison trap to prove a point, and was a set like storm, it would speed things along to have that -200 regen attack, if you can field it without compromising much, of course. Something like storm would also be putting out much more dps than my handicapped trapper would as a baseline. I do agree that personals should have maybe a little more raw killing power instead of being turned into glorified debuffs, but what we have now is serviceable, especially with procs.
  2. For most of the game it's worse than that, given how health scaling doesn't make this significant until facing avs/gms, and there's very few things in the game right now that have regen boosting powers below that, outside of AE. It's been a very lopsided trade, very much in favor of bot players.
  3. Not to mention that your odds of being on a full team without any -regen and being incapable of beating the AV are pretty low. Videos are processing now, by the way. Spoiler alert: I'm right.
  4. I treat it as more or less expendable. It eats a hit, better it than your core bots. It dies healing your dudes? Replace it and move on. I'll even replace a damaged one if I'm sitting on the cd for awhile. Kinda like the traps ffg, it's very important, but it's short cd and short lifespan at times means you don't really have to care if it gets whacked.
  5. I'd imagine that was factored into it, yes. Surprised they let us even keep a little of that in the personal attacks, 200% per attack ain't bad at all. Fact of the matter is this, though: bots on live have the worst dps of all the MM sets (yes, worse than mercs), ISM essentially carrying the AoE by itself in all it's full glory, with -regen being the crutch that allows you to tickle big bosses to death. Now, you're trading some of that regen that only applied a third of the time from the plasma blasts and some of your ISM damage to gain significantly enhanced damage across the board in both ST and aoe. But I don't value words without anything to back them, and neither should you. To that end, I'll be uploading some +4 av/gm kills later tonight if I find the time, just to highlight how much of a non-issue the -regen thing is.
  6. Another page, another wall of untested complaining about the -regen "loss". Guys, its a straight buff no matter how you twist this. +0, to +4. Save it for something that's actually a nerf.
  7. Intuition radial is sorely underrated.
  8. Ta's single target -res is pretty decent, makes sense that illusion would destroy the ebs with it.
  9. And again, if you're having issues, it's a build/skill issue.
  10. The thumbs downs are the best, because those this is mocking basically out themselves by doing it.
  11. I don't get how people are having trouble with these guys. You're given plenty of time to run away if you're undergeared for them. I for one, love the free XP on most of my guys, especially the masterminds. Poor EBs.
  12. I always used them to jump-start alt incarnates. I'm hardly hurting for merits.
  13. Maybe stay on topic and don't make stupid arguments that derail the thread, if you're upset about having posts hidden.
  14. I think if I hate what you say, my thumbs down is just as valid as any thumbs up. Kinda miss that from YouTube and say, the Blizzard forums, really.
  15. Why is a name change neccesary? Pretty much entails what one would expect from a private server's beta testing. I personally have yet to feel as if I was shut down in any of those threads, but I also tend to back up what I say ingame.
  16. Fire patches aren't from the flamethrower.
  17. Not snark, the question just confused me. It will be less effective, of course, but serviceable.
  18. If you can't, get some inf. If you don't want to, and are 50, IDK what you want from me, lol.
  19. There's more variables than that, though. Even back in the day, something like say, a bots or thugs/traps was one of the best things you could make without any ios if you wanted to blow up hard missions solo. Out of the box it's very tanky and capable of holding it's own. Anyway, this slotting should help a lot of people out. You can switch up drone and Protector a bit, but I feel like this is the best acc/dam/end spread you can go for without going too hard or light on end redux, and maximizing set bonuses/auras.
  20. Smite over shadow punch and bone smasher over barrage is pretty good for those respective sets too. Tanks not being stuck with awful t1s on top of everything else, good stuff.
  21. I'm used to mitigating the protector bots end, back in the day, they were already end hogs. Assault bot can be dealt with to at least not be an issue in standard play, especially with the conserve power helping a little bit. Once I get to the comp I'll kinda drop my mids slotting here, it might help people out.
  22. Gonna be fun being able to exemp a TW or SS tank and not be miserable till the mid 30s now.
  23. They are being reduced to compensate for the overall buff to bots, yes - but they are bugged the same way old burn was on non-brutes in this build. Aside from that, they don't hit very hard in the newest iteration, so a slight buff to make them better than they are is a fair ask. Fortunately, the bug is likely to be fixed soon. The "fear" you are referring to is actually "afraid", though. General "get out of the bad" ai has with burn patches and things like caltrops.
  24. The aoe immob is never useless, though. The single target one is kinda 'eh' for a dominator with the aoe one in mind, I'll grant.
  25. The burn patches are back, but bugged against higher diff mobs, and also under-tuned on top of that.
