  2. I can basically stun lock a +4 av without its triangles. Anyone complaining about stuns hasn't actually play tested the set.

  4. Are you using it within 100yds of your target? It's a pbaoe.
  5. Just finished a round of dark melee testing, to break the monotony of the travel power discussion and maybe give the team something else to work out. Keep in mind, these tests were done with a purpled out Dark/shield build, which is basically the best combination for dark melee. YMMV with other combinations IO levels. 1: The set performs fine on mission clears and such, if released as-is it'll still be stronger than it was originally, which was already pretty strong. 2: While touch of fear is -fine- for AoE, I really, really think the activation time could use a cut. Like, a little less than half a second. Adjust recharge or whatever you may to make it work, but the main problem with ToF is just how awful it flows. I understand that if can very easily get out of hand due to soul drain, but I can't just ignore the fact that ball lightning or fireball exist. 3: Where the heck is the sound file for Shadow Maul, and how do I change it?
  6. I want to see how you're using SS or Super jump and fly, because I could not disagree more.
  7. The core issue is that, even if we disregard combat entirely, teleport feels awful to use indoors. CT is nice but it really isn't that helpful for that particular usage.
  8. It's irrelevant now, since you only need one exploration badge now. Look, if people can't handle one exploration badge, they can just walk - lol. Anyway, I'm annoyed with how little attention teleport itself is getting here. Anyone else? The untouchable thing is nice, but a far cry from a proper fix for the clunkiest travel option.
  9. This game is such a miraculous set of messes that happens to work, I love it.
  10. Every time you use ET, a random cottage somewhere far away violently explodes, killing everybody inside. A necessary sacrifice for dimension breaking fists.

Oh no, you lost your 100% chance to stun a boss, and gained one of the most powerful single attacks in the game, another AoE, animation time cuts on your filler and retained the relatively high chance to stun on all of the above. What a problem. Stun wasn't even a popular pick for the few people who still played energy before this. This is not a hill you want to die on. I don't want to turn this into a flame war, either put your money where your mouth is and let me prove you wrong - lose this argument gracefully, or just be ignored. Times like this I wish the no-video rule wasn't in effect.
  12. It's still high, and that's before any other attacks come into play. Log in beta right now and I will prove you wrong in like five minutes, since you're so convinced this will be a problem.
  13. TF>BS by itself would be a guaranteed stun on everything below an AV by itself 90% of the time, that's before any other attack comes into play. By comparing the last toolkit to the current, I can actually make a pretty objective comparison in terms of value, so yes - yes I can. What's next, are you going to try and convince me that Confront is a valuable power? Kindly stop trying to sabotage a great thing here, thanks.
  14. I'm pretty sure the -special is the highlight of the focus interaction, as I've said to you many times now, the stuns aren't as important. If I can permastun a +4 AV without it's triangles up as a stalker, I really don't see the complaint here. Like, I get it - cottage rule, I don't like core abilities being changed much either, but there's a tiny detail you seem to be missing here. STUN WAS A GARBAGE POWER.

  16. Don't fix what isn't broken, Wind. If your build is unable to reach a highish recharge, bs and EP make for good filler between heavy hits.
  17. I would love it if fold space had a taunt added to it. At least the Warshade version.
  18. You have a bone smasher that is entirely unrestricted now, you have your filler. The set is perfect now and people are still complaining.
  19. Going to throw my name in the hat here as well. Stacking the mobility buffs was fun and largely harmless.

  21. I think this should silence the majority of earlier complaints, heh. I'm iffy on the Pd VIP change but ultimately for it. Especially with the expanded options lrtp offers relative to ouro/pocket shortcuts.
  22. 1: The fix to bone smasher solved pretty much all my rotational woes as I toy around with this. 2:Giving the effect to barrage at least makes the -special elective, and helps the forced tanker t1 pick to not feel like a waste 3: Totally didn't expect the buff to ET, but Its pretty strong without being over the line. This set is ready to launch. The Captain's best work by far.
  23. I get why it wouldn't work on the new pool powers, though for something like wormhole it should work on +4 bosses.
  24. I think you're thinking of Touch of Fear as the TAoE.
