  1. I saw I got a couple of thumbs down on my post above. (From some really sharp players.) Ouch, seriously. Look I do appreciate what the Devs did. And I have expressed that appreciation. I was just saying, to be clear, there was no way this was enough. Nor is this where Sentinels "need to be" Why? Why do I say this? I invite you to look at my Blaster answer to the Sentinel issue. A Blaster with very very high ranged defense, fully ranged powers. More damage than a Sentinel could ever dream of having. More AoE than a Sentinel. And TWO 30 second nearly completely invulnerable powers with no crash on either. One of those (Phase Shift) MIGHT be able to be taken by a Sentinel....except a Sentinel is too busy punching their dance card for a full armor secondary set. When You can make a Sentinel that lives in the same zip code as this strange Blaster we can talk about the Archetype having arrived to the good neighborhood.   3. I have pretty much decided to drop Dark Pit out of my build. I was using it to mule for some Ranged def, but I think i can build smarter for the power cost and 5 slots. Most minions that would have been stunned by this will be to hit debuffed to hell if I am playing well. errrr I think.....

(Really surprised to find it sitting on page 10 of my load in screen still all built up lol) I would love to talk about what powers to use (and possibly drop) and WHY. Especially since I am dusting it off for use in things like the new challenge TFs. Thank you.

  6. I have read this construct over a few times. It appears there is a relationship between rural industry, religious figures, civic centers, and dairy products that I am just missing. So.... Cheese fire in Norway tunnel burns for 5 days....
  7. If I were you (and granted this requires time and a ton of influence) is look for a high damage Scrapper build with your power sets. A real Pylon eater. Then use your alt build to slap it on your toon. Take it out for a spin. Then after a week or so of running both strip the build you do not like as much for recycling.
  8. It is well known this one proc will take a Scrapper to much higher levels of damage. Building to slot this proc and get it timo fire often should be your too priority on a Scrapoer
  9. I tend to noy go this route. But I believe (I may be wrong) that PROC damage builds tend to be favored in increasing max damage more than chasing straight +dam. Rech, as well. brings up the hard hitting attacks faster.
  10. The Flop in St Martial was always the spot for this badge. There are two building you basically figure 8!around endlessly and it is a non stop farm
  11. You can do that. You can also make a petless Mastermind as a character. Or a Tanker that actively reduces threat level and does not take Taunt. In my opinion all of these are about equivalent

  13. I will always have a problem with people saying CoX Super Strength fits Superman. I never knew so many people were that stupid. Damn sad really. Do any of those people remember Superman having massive rage issues? Because aside from a one off story line here and there I seem to recall Superman was written as a very calm and thoughtful individual. But who knows, I hallucinate a lot when I drink too much blood
  14. This boost was not enough (in my opinion) but it was something and it changed the horrid inherent to something (again, in my opinion) better. This Dev team moves pretty conservatively on altering basic game play. We can hope for a future change, but if one comes it might be a year or more away. I expect them to sit back and look at how this changes things for a while. Again, a Sentinel is a Duck, it can fly, it can swim, it can move around on the ground. It is not the best at any of these activities. It will never match a Peregrine Falcon, or a Cheetah, or a Dolphin.

  16. Well, some were posting previously that the numbers were at less than half Scrapper DPS. Now with about 10% bump. Hmmm, carry the 12. Add the static back in. Hmmm. Right about garbage still. Seriously though. It is about what job you can do with the AT. A Sentinel should be at range a lot more than a Scrapper and that avoids a lot of obstacles in modern play. Brutes and Scrappers have to contend with unresistable damage patches in their range. Sentinels can survive (briefly) environments that will flatten a Blaster. I once saw Jackie Chan describe a stunt where he was using a crate to (just for a second) get a car to hesitate from crushing someone. In that time Jackie could jump to the cars hood. Of course Hollywood never let him get away with those stunts. But a Sentinel can do crazy stuff once in a while and keep DPS up where pure melee cannot. Basically, pure graphs of numbers do not tell the full story. What can you do with a Sentinel?
  17. You know there is a point there. We do not know for sure what is going on with the Homecoming team. It could be two of them are holding the rest hostage, forcing them to code, fulfilling some twisted desire for cubicle domination. Someone send a Dev a message and look carefully at the response. Now, you have to read between the lines because they might be writing while under duress.
