The only controller I have is Dark Dark. I love many things about it. But I am so impatient with some teams I need a Blaster lol My Ice Ice Blaster feels like a Controller that found the cheat code to do damage

Yeah, the PB sleep may get cut too. Most of my Blaster secondaries are 4-5 picks. Then I go into leadership travel stealth. This guy I have decided to go "theme" and take fighting pool. Gets me to Ranged defense and some RP cred for being a little stone creature. I havent started the "final 50 build" still running through all the TF/SF/Trials. Experimenting. Beryl Crystals says in the description it has +To Hit. Evidently another lie from marketing, it has 33% accuracy and some resists to TO Hit debuffs. It says res Confuse to but I do not see it in the details. Keeper though. 1 power pick no slots added that gets to my goal.

Earth. That thing we stand on. And,… a. Ery idd Blaster secondary Nice sustain. I should look this up…the mud pots do something besides bubble right? Slows people? Hmmm. Sure. But a toggle sustain that just works. Yes please. Beryl crystals. Okay, I have dome three double takes on this. This is like finding a hundred pound gold bar and when you lift it up there is a sack of diamonds under it. I do not take melee on Blasters. So stone prison. I have seen worse. Might make a mule but just glancing at the good power choices. Might just get an accuracy. I tried Tremor on a low level build. Small AoE and crap results. Dropped no melee. The T9 looks nice. No melee Salt Crystals and Fracture. I. Am going to try for both those. Hopefully with good sets Seismic. Going for all. Seismic has a weird internal build up of Seismic pressure. Having quick attacks to pump it up rewards with a one two of Stalagmite and Tombstone. Flame Mastery for theme. Bonfire, Rise Pheonix. going to try to squeeze on a Jump travel and Fighting pool Armors. Should be a hoot

I ran this Seismic Temporal Flame through every Task Force in order Then as I was poking around I looked at the beautiful sustain on Earth. Now redoing as Seismic Earth. The guy moved to Paragon for the cheap rent. Went to Pocket D and asked to be more powerful. Then he was turned into a 4 feet tall rock creature with Seismic Earth powers. Null says “No returns allowed, whatever that means.”

Heh, my builds are odd but I do maximize for in game benefits. As mentioned my Dark Dark BRUTE stepped in to Tank Rom on a two star, and can (and has) Tanked Recluse on a Master Ms Liberty. (I build different, but effective) But while I am not pokey I am not a speed player. I cannot do sub ten minute ITFs. I cannot finish each Aeon mission in under 3-4 minutes. It takes me 30 seconds to refill my inspirations and with my slow travel powers (often mystic flight) another minute to get to the door.

According to my admittedly shoddy memory ITF was popular in both speed and kill most right from the beginning. If I were to make another comparison Aeon is closer to Barracuda SF. Overly complicated and not enjoyed except by a select group.

I never run on Beta. Because if I started that is where I would always be, as I experiment. I would get NO rewards to accumulate on Beta. So, i experiment on Live. In the chaos of "reality"

This is my opinion. The Aeon Strike Force is beautiful. If graded as a school computing project or artwork it would get an A and probably extra credit. I cannot comment on the writing, per se. I still have not run it in a fashion where I can understand the full story. Again, this is beautiful. Why? The cutscenes are great. The mechanics are detailed and intricate. So many cool maps. New badges! New rewards! Geek out. So why do I say it is a tragic failure? Well, let us contrast with the ITF: 1) The ITF is popular among speed runners for reward and quick mad fun. I have participated in regular 10-15 min runs. I have known people who parsed it down to a few minutes. I do not remember the exact number. The record may have been broken. It is very short. 2) Kill most +4 ITF: This is a very popular run. I myself use it to open incarnate slots past Alpha. I also LOVE to test new 50 projects on it. This is the gold standard of mass destruction. Rewards of all types drop in this lovely grind. Everyone enjoys. 3) starred ITF: I have only joined a couple. I do it for the badges mostly. If I am going to do starred content ITF is by far my choice to run. I understand it, I know it, and I can handle it. Favorite memory: was on a 2 star on my Dark Dark Brute. We had a Tank. Things were going pretty good until we got to Rom. The Tank folded. A few times. I was asked to step up. I was able to (propped up by a Corr, thank you!) and we got it done. I did not understand what I was doing, because it was my first two star. But I just kited Rom as the team leader asked. Compare with Aeon 1 Speed) joined a speed yesterday on my Blaster. I did not die (has phase shift, vampire!) and I mostly know the maps. I was so little help I felt like a carry. I might as well have been trying to keep up with the Cosmic Counciul speedrunners. i exit mission, open AH to restock insp, travel with slow mystic flight to next door, get there team is at end room. I trudge there and maybe get one shot in. Other maps I was useless. 2) Starred. Just impossible for me. I am a carry. I will prob pay a good team for the badges on a toon if I ever want them. 3) Hey, the best rewards (Prismatic Aethers) are gated behind being able to run Aeon. Suck it Newbish player base!

I am starting (another) little Blaster project. I rarely use Energy secondary and the main reason why is the click sustain. But, it was time. I slammed a full set of Numina in the thing. It cycles about every 25 seconds. It is the only auto cast I have. The only other time I do it is when I run Doms, and Dom is auto once I perma it. Since Numina is a proc 120 does this work? does it proc everytime? when it does proc does it over write the last one and refresh the 120 timer?

I have followed politics for years. I do not like it brought up because 1) terms we agree to. 2) It fosters great disharmony. Is my view "off" Probably to about 40% or more of America. yes. I have (and I had no idea how hard this would be...) just started studying German. As part of that I am perusing the culture. Learning a few things. Do you know how much education Germans have on pre WW2 and WW2 history? A lot. By the time they get to high school they're like "here we go again" I knew that they banned certain symbols and pro Nazi things. I had no idea they educated every citizen on the evils of it for twelve years. Zwolf is twelve in Deutsch. Such a fun word. I do not want to educate (and bore) those in this community on any of the topics you brought up. IRL I (lazily) stand against all of them. The bottom line is Politics should not be brought up in game or on the forums due to the near immediate (and, in game, unresolvable) disagreements it brings up. I am sure this is why nearly every (every?) MMORPG has rules against topics such as there.

Electric Blast is something I have not been on in a while and I am leveling one up. It has a ST hold that I took on a lark. The danged thing gets a "power up" circle around it once in a while. I saw nothing in the description that this power has two "modes" Anyone know what is going on?

Trillions? There are guides on it. I have known at least one true whale and a few of the people I regularly gamed with were just shamelessly well off. I try to keep 1-3 billion liquid plus a base stocked with EVERYTHING. (I find that to be "virtually unlimited wealth" unless you want every toon to have mini mode or something ) 1-3 billion is yawn easy. Farm a bit, or craft/convert/sell a bit. You need a guide for the truly egregious money making. It is a lot of marketeering. Which is cute and wanna be vampiric on the community. They put so much effort into it. In ancient history a very wealthy man pointed something out....in the end it does not matter.

Yes indeed. I play a LOT. Of regular content. I have the badges on one character and this will be my second. 40 shy. And I have been playing a LOT since they came out. Just the Aeon is 1) repetitive. 2) stupid hard 3) the people that do run it are done with the mission by the time you get to the room. So, that is just a ton of fun. It is/was a shit currency that is borderline griefing normal content players. And if anyone says "well you do not need them..." just do not be surprised if a colony of bats decides your neighborhood is a prime spot to inhabit.

I do not read general chat much even though it is up. I keep an eye on LFG because I am always searching for the next horrid pug story. If I did see something (and sometimes I do) I will ask people not to do that. Which works about 10% time. Then I will ask really nice. That also has limited success, but it sometimes works. Then I ignore it for 1-2 min. If it keeps going I will hack up a ball of snark and lob it. Now, if it is something really beyond casual disregard for the code we agreed to I will mention we do not need to do that and report it. Everything is in context. I do know what you mean though. The local town council is considering placing more guards at the blood banks. I encouraged a bunch of protesters and used a few other tricks I know. Unfortunately, politics just ruins people's lives.

So I have been having meh luck getting on teams. Not unusual for me (or probably anyone) "Just filled!" (They are vampire prejudice, I know...) Anyways, luck was going like usual. Looking for some weeklies. Send a tell to someone forming in LFG. Wait a minute, no response. No invite. Send a tell to someone else who has 1 spot left. I got it! Five minutes later I get a tell from the first guy. "You coming?" I was polite enough to send a response "You never invited me or responded, I joined another team" Oh, and most people are not ugly. It was me in that damned mirror. I thought I got rid of the cursed thing!

I have never seriosly badged. I will sometimes go location crazy on a new alt. Then whatever. But my dark dark Blaster is at 1298. Without a ton of effort I might be able to push them past 1500. Well....with a moderate amount of effort.
