Now I am looking at getting a mezzy Corruptor stood up. The build goal is to be able to land Dark Pit and Oppressive gloom on a large spawn then Soul Drain and Blackstar. Dark Pit and Soul Drain are a bit off Perma. Nothing on this build is 'perfect' Everything is sort of "make the goal and depend on to hit debuffs and AT strength" Mostly a team build. Has good AoE, Good ST, Good Mez, and played smart should o alright. Notable throwaway was ST hold. only a mag 2 with no way to stack. I focused on a build that would just wailing on large spawns (mez/AoE) until the team hit an EB/AV, then settle into debuffs and ST. For whatever reason anytime I export a build with Snipe Mids drops the 5 slotted Experienced Marksman" (no fast snipe) and just leaves the 6th slot Hami. The new Mids kinda sucks. And now I am rebuilding my Corruptor in an attempt to saturate Soul Drain. So.... Throw Dark Pit (mag 2 disorient), run in while running Oppressive Gloom (mag 2 disorient), Soul Drain, Blackstar. Then joust back out to cone range and start burning. -

I have really been enjoying Dark 3 Defender. I am missing the damage. (I ran a fire blaster last week lol). But I learned something! What I was missing in Dark Dark Blast I think. How to land Soul Drain and the Blackstar Throw Dark Pit (power I Avoided) mag 2 disorient. Blah Run Oppressive Gloom from Soul Mastery mag 2 disorient Blah. Wait 2+2 = gold. I always avoided these two useless powers. Now I am off to test the strategy at high level play. Throw Dark Pit, wander in with Gloom on, Soul Drain, Blackstar. -

My Fire Blaster has no Defense. This is very much an edge case in game and far from my reserved builds. But the thing is insanely powerful. It can wipe whole spawns until you hit Incarnate content. For things like a sLamda I do need someone to be noticed first before I start my PBAoE bomb run. But any cover is all it takes. For truly endless (+4/x8 ITF) flows it works like magic. It kills as fast as they can run up except the EBs. And it really hits those hard

In all seriousness you can play almost the entire game with just your left hand. Slight investment. It will be awkward. The Razer Tartarus. Tge round button can be programmed as a toggle for movement. I use the kicker under that for jump. The button above the toggle for targeting nearest. The 20 buttons I program to two trays giving 20 powers or macros executable at one touch. If you were clever you could probably make it 200 by having one button control a set of trays.... But I find 20 fine. Course I am mousing right hand..

I have been lazily slotting KB to KD forever. But I want to say an Energy Blaster hover blasting from above plants the mobs on the floor rather than squirts them to the side. I think all KB cones do that. Same with wall. Knock to wall, ragdoll fall -

I second what Nemu said. It is tough to do everything You say you want to stay ranged. Okay. Thats a start. Now please be very specific what your build goals are. I can build you a softcap ranged defense + build with high recharge and accuracy without breaking a sweat. Practically a “virtual bunker” firing platform. But it will have almost no procs and the damage will not be sexy. I use builds like this all the time. I call it the Uber Sentinel style build. Way out damaging a Sentinel and with half a brain just as survivable. But again, not near the hate machine my Fire Temporal Blaster with no Defense at all is. He survives by jumping into spawns and killing everyone around him as fast as possible. I find screaming helps. Anything “ Leroy Jenkins” “Die Longbow!” “Love me baby!” 95% time if works 100% So just tell us what your playstyle is and maybe we can help

I have been running a Fire/Temp/ForceWill/Soul at 50 all day. 1) With the amount of recharge (Hasten near perma) you dont need that many attacks 2) Cones, I love cones, they are situational. If the crowds arent conveniently in a cone throwing a couple Balls is good. 3) Unless you are on AR or Beam (ST mostly) you will be going in for the Nuke. Hard to reset for cones and better to just lay down other AoE 4) When crowds are lined up for cones it is beautiful 4a) Crowds rarely line up for cones 4b) Cones are not the hardest hitting AoE, on a fast recharge build they are great as a alternate way to melt mobs that line up for the love

from my limited understanding....no, it is based on the "english" the Devs code into that particular attack. They individualize the vector on each attack type. Sometimes it looks like the above. or it might always bend 90 degree right. -
