  1. I can assure you, you were not 😄
  2. Are there other villain groups that have minions with hold powers? I can't think of one offhand. I thought holds were generally reserved for lieutenant and higher ranks.
  3. Having run LRSF before even IOs were introduced I have to agree. The level of difficulty isn't even the same order of magnitude right now. Even without incarnates, the use of IOs, cross-faction teaming, inherent fitness, and a host of other improvements will make MoLRSF far, far easier than it was Back in the Daytm.
  4. Screenshot still wrong in latest patch notes.
  5. FWIW, as someone who enjoyes tweaking out builds to solo hard TFs, I'm in favor of adding an easier TF solo mode. Many early game TFs can be soloed already without too much powergaming (e.g. Citadel, which is just long but whose end AV is nothing too taxing - a pack of envenomed daggers should do it). But that's not true of the end game TFs. I've soloed ITF, LGTF, and LRSF (and I'd say those are listed in increasing difficulty). I've never attempted Kahn or Barracuda because the huge bag of HP that is Reichsmann just sounds like a terrible bore, even if it's possible. As for Ms. Liberty TF, I suspect the number of people on HC who can solo it is in the single digits. I've certainly never tried, though if I did, I'd make sure to stack shivans, nukes, wolf whistle, and super team insps, gathering each of which is kind of a mini-TF on its own. I don't quite understand the reluctance to add easier modes for these TFs on the condition that rewards are reduced. IMHO that would just expand the playstyles that the game supports and I don't see how that's a bad thing. We already have teams that speed through at +0 and teams that steamroll at +4, and as far as I can tell, neither option hurts the other, aside from the occasional oops where someone joins a team thinking it'd do one thing when it was intending to do the other.
  6. I'm about 85% sure the powers info used to be correct and they got broken sometime around issue 27 page 1. Sometime around when the full description of the power got truncated.
  7. I'm not seeing this with Vorpal. Testing other Judgment powers now... Edit: Oh, wait. I was right clicking on the power in the Incarnate Create tab. If I right click on the power in the Incarnate Equip tab, I see boosted numbers. That's... odd, I guess. I never thought they'd be different. Also! I can't believe that I've put this many thousands of hours into playing this game and am still learning new things. (Just the other day I learned about the secret bunker entrance on Keyes that only stalkers can use.)
  8. General note that this is patch is amazing and I can't wait to see it go live. I have a quibble here or there, and I certainly haven't tested everything, but overall it looks great. I do wonder how this can possibly be called only one page of an issue. This is a bigger content buff than some of the "full" live issues 🙂
  9. This note should perhaps be documented in the section on the new Challenge Settings, rather than (or in addition to) here - particularly since it's shown in a screenshot in that section.
  10. I'm not sure why you quoted the whole section of the patch notes in response. Maybe you were looking for clarification on my feedback? The screenshot I'm referring to is the one at the very end of the quote above. That screenshot shows the "Old School Challenge" setting, which is not described in the quoted section of the patch notes. Instead, the "Old School Challenge" setting is described in the "World Changes: Tasks" section, about 80% of the way through the patch notes. I suspect that the screenshot that was intended to be shown there would be focused on the "Master" challenge setting, not the "Old School Challenge" setting. As it stands, an insufficiently careful reader would get the impression that the "Master of X" badges require running with no enhancement set bonuses. (In fact, the whole reason I posted is because exactly this confusion surfaced in a private discussion.)
  11. "Pandora's Box, Ch. 5" would be consistent with how it's described in Ouroboros.
  12. If it's something feedback is solicited for - my vote would be no IO bonuses of any kind including procs and globals. The enhancement effects are already stronger than what was available prior to inventions.
  13. Very large assumption you are making here. I just ran both parts of a Posi TF and no one had set bonuses of any kind. Anecdotal and so maybe tangential, but I never bother to slot IOs until lvl 27 or so. Often I don't bother to slot anything at all until then. The content up to level 45 or so just doesn't seem to need it. Mostly what I lack is accuracy, but enough people slot tactics or the like that usually it doesn't matter.
  14. Nit on the patch notes: the screenshot at the bottom of the Challenge Mode section is not showing anything described in that section. The description of what's in the screenshot is given in the section called "World Changes: Tasks", all the way at the other end of the patch notes.
  15. Cool, glad to hear. Some other random thoughts I had about reward options: extra reward merits (which has the benefit of being adjustible); SHO drop that's already 53 (if just an SHO is regarded as too little reward).
  16. I really hate the name of this badge. Are we first graders?
  17. lolwut? This badge description gives me a headache. If it takes this long to explain, it's too fiddly.
  18. No recursive quote? 😞 I think you misunderstood the original question: The objection isn't to rewarding non-incarnate content with incarnate rewards. The objection is to rewarding content where incarnate powers can't be used, with incarnate rewards. The vanilla-difficulty max-level TFs don't qualify for objection because incarnate powers can be used while running them. Similarly, the new challenge modes for the Aeon SF don't qualify. This objection has to do with the max-level challenge mode for existing TFs, like the "Master Of" challenge for LRSF. You can't use incarnate powers, but the reward is a path to boosting your incarnate powers. It feels wrong to me too. If I'm bettering my incarnate powers, I want to be able to use them. I don't mind challenges where incarnate powers can't be used, but then it seems like the reward should be something that's valuable outside of incarnate powers, like an extra synthetic hami-O.
  19. That doesn't match the description given in the patch notes. According to the notes, AVs drop astrals, but not empyreans; those come at the end:
  20. I read Aeon's initial text over a few times, which was difficult because my eyes kept glazing over, and I'm pretty sure he never actually says why he needs the player's help or what the first mission is supposed to be about. It reads as if there's some other exchange that already happened.
  21. I think Justin Augustine is 16 missions, not 32?
  22. Can we put the names of the TFs/SFs in the event titles? As it stands, the most important information is in the smallest text.
  23. As a general rule I want the Advanced Totals window to show things on the same scale as Combat Attributes in game. Otherwise I have to do mental translations when I'm looking at one or the other.
