I used assault double hit radial. Either degenerative or reactive, I took reactive.

How's it working out so far?

SO good. Currently my favorite toon and if I were starting from scratch would probably use your build for my main. I feel plenty tough enough - tougher than most of the other tankers I end up playing alongside - and the damage is so much fun. I haven’t started boosting yet either.

Yes Bio is probably more damage but the reason i went Rad is because of the Rage crash also. Rad armour will always have its good mitigation. Also i found building a heavy proc build better on Rad armour than on Bio for survival.

I tried Rad/TW to 50+1 but didn't like it. I have played with TW scrappers in teams and by the time they start their first attack i have already half killed the group. Overrated in my opinion. May be good for pylons though.

Savage leap and Shield charge should work well together with some procs in them.

It would be nice to see some Tanker dps builds posted by people.

Heres my updated build of above. It might need some organising of power picks each level.

@Gobbledegookreally like the build! I'm leveling up with it now. You mentioned maybe changing order/slots for leveling up. What would you change?

  3. @Jaegernaultthank you for your response! Follow up question: In your experimental build, does speed of sound play a role other than going fast? Seems like it might be a fine swap for super jump, unless I'm missing something? I want to understand its role before changing it, however.

Shield/dark is something of a classic combination that works every bit as well on tanks as it does on scrappers. The improved shadow maul is absolutely massive on tanks and you get the key combination of soul drain and shield charge together earlier. I prefer the epic options tanks get too, mine has an aoe attack chain using SM and mu mastery. The self heal in the attack chain is very useful for shield and if you put a theft of essense proc in it you will have very few end worries. On top of all that the stacking damage buffs from against all odds and soul drain work very nicely indeed with tanks new modifiers. I love my shield/dark and highly recommend it.

@parabolasoujds interesting. Could you share your build?

  5. Anyway we could change void skiff speed to match jet pack, then take off the part where you can't fight on it? Could even have to buy up hours like you do with a normal jet pack. It would be sick flying through the air on the void skiff (and other similar flight tools) while hurling fireballs and whatnot. As it is a) almost nobody uses it and b) we would have options other than jet pack for free flight.

I know I'm just dreaming, but it seemed cool to me. 😄
