  1. quite true. T1 pets are several levels lower than the MM, which gives them the biggest "level debuff" that effectively lowers their defenses and makes them get hit more often. They also have the lowest HP of all the pets. T1 pets take it hard :). That is why I absolutely love /Nature for Masterminds. It has a cone heal where you just have to face the pets. It also has a HP absorb that gives them an HP buffer so they don't get 1 or two shot so often. Later on you get Entangling Aura which when slotted with some + Hold duration will hold most of the mobs in pack. But all sets are pretty good for MM's. I just like Nature a lot for any toon that can take it.
  2. Sorry. I wasn't clear. It's in the last build I posted. Level 44. "Pistols" it is the ability that triggers the offensive opportunity mechanics. I just have it 3 slotted for stats, and I find that I practically never use it. The only reason I really took it was for the option to activate offensive opp. But it's there if a player wants to use it. that's what I get for posting on my phone later in the evening.
  3. Another healing advantage is the defensive opportunity that only Sentinels have access to. It truly makes a difference. Not an ungodly difference, but its noticeable. For example a pylon will take me down to 50%life because I'm not actively using my absorb. When killing a pylon I'm literally just pressing 1,2,3 for 4 minutes. Then defence opportunity kicks in and my health and endurance start to fill back up. In the build I have the offensive opportunity attack 3 slotted just as a mule and to use for offensive opportunity if I want it. But I never end up using it. I could easily swap it out for a travel power and 3 slot it for some extra defenses to go higher than it is, move the slots somewhere else. There are lots of options. just keep defense at 45 min, acc high enough to hit, and global recharge high enough to maintain the attack chain.
  4. Try something like this for actual targeting. I took it from the guide on http://shenanigunner.com/#TechGuide /bind NUMPAD1 "powexec [heal power name]$$target_custom_next notmypet [pet 1 name]" ... /bind NUMPAD6 "powexec [heal power name]$$target_custom_next notmypet [pet 6 name]" Two taps of any of these keys will fire the heal at tht pet. Have him name each pet something unique
  5. You should be able to turn on over the head health bars for friendly players and pets. I'm pretty sure I have it turned on some of my characters so I can see other pet health. . I can't remember if it's an /optionset command like the villain ones are or not. I'll try to remember and look it up later.
  6. It was just for some psi/toxic resist. Maybe for DDR, I am not at my pc to check. But I think it would be possible to move those slots if a person wanted. Just keep the defense at or above 45. A player can also go hover/fly instead of the way I went jumping and superspeed. The build is a good starting point for some modifications as long as you watch 45 defence, enough acc, and keeping your 3 attacks recharged enough to cycle them.
  7. Just a small update. I changed blizzard slotting to drop a couple toxic/psionic resists and added the opportunity proc. Also having frostbite with the AoE immobilize is pretty nice with the rain powers. 10. Both probably. DP is nasty. With good enough recharge you can run a three attack single target rotation. Check out my dp/sr build post. I need to update it with my most recent changes but it's basically the same. Just a week ago I posted some nice pylon times in the scrapper pylon times thread. I think @nihilii knows about dp/Regen. I got my concept from nihili iirc.
  11. I appreciate the slow resistance. I am the type of player who forgets to check the blue bar and will basically run myself dry and die from my toggles dropping for lack of blue. I actually must have some kind of mental block about this because it happens on a lot of builds I run. For people with a mental block like me would you suggest your prior /ice build or this new update? How drastic are the endurance adjustments?
  12. I do the same thing. I just wish for exemplaring down that level 50+5 IO's would level down.
  13. Achilles Heel and Annihilation -res proc's stack with each other, but not with themselves.
  14. I like the Toga Wars {AFK Fire Farm - 15 minute timer} timed fire farm: Arc-ID: 38183 It has mobs that train the enemy around the map so they aggro you easily. It appears to be just as good as the Briggs fire farms. I still do briggs on occasion also.
  15. Thanks for the tip
  16. Time is strong on everything. farsight is great. The debuffs are awesome. I run a beast and also a Merc /time MM. It works great with them.
  17. I take the other fork on occasion just because I got turned around and didn't notice that the group took the other fork. I may be off on my own and in the "zone" for 5 minutes before I realize it. I also may not have noticed the group lead's chat telling me so, or even that they dropped the group because the group split. I just get in the zone sometimes or get turned around.
  18. Making build sucks, and I think a lot of people think it probably sucks, I don't know what percentage of people feel that way, but I do know that at least My percentage portion feels that way. I find it extremely tedious and monotonous. Oh my god, I find it so damn boring and it takes so damn long, I'm surprised it doesn't just chase people away from the game and drive the population into the ground. I love talking about them though, what makes them tick, what may or may not work well, etc,.. Sure, I make builds, but damn it really sucks a lot of fun out of the game. Making my own build doesn't make me appreciate playing my character any more than playing a character that uses someone else's build that was posted for the community to use. Others may like using their own builds over someone else's, and good for them! That's their cup of tea man! I love it when people post there builds, to me it is like they hung up a piece of art in a museum. So as far as I'm concerned let's decorate the museum with works of art. I love telling people that I'm using @Sovera's brunker build, or one of @Sir Myshkin's proc builds or @DreadShinobi's kin/rad defender build or one of the many others that I've taken from the forums. As for build that I create, I will post every single build that I make if as long as I think it is mostly coherent. I do this for one single purpose, so people can at Least use it as a start point. Finding a build on the forums and then cracking it open to look and seeing it is really cool and I feel a lot of appreciation for every single one that is out there. I wish someone took requests for builds that where I could say, I want a build for an x/y archetype, that uses procs in these certain skills, and have 95% hit chance against +4 mobs, and can use hover and fly and get the s/l defense as high as you can get it. or at least resists as high as you can get it. We can talk about about what you think valid options would be, we can then talk about what may or may not work. So let's decorate the museum.
  19. well. 🙂 I find them both extremely easy to play once you have the build done. You truly can't go wrong with either one, people can make 100 different reasons on why one is better than the other, but it all comes down to what you find you like. I truly believe that. Once you hit 50 and get Clarion incarnate, it gets super easy because you don't get stunned and drop your main toggle ability. One thing to think about is do you want a cone heal or a pbaoe heal? Nature's heal allows you to stand back a bit. Time has the pbaoe heal, Nature has the cone heal. I have attached two bind files that you can use to make /Nature's cone heal really easy to use. Once you load the bind files it will use the "H" key to face your heal target and then activate your heal when you release the key. So you just have to click on the pet or team member in the group/pet window and then hit the "H" key and you will face and heal them. I tend to like /Nature more but its really just personal preference. Another thing to try on your MM's is to macro your pet attack command and your MM attack to use 1 key. It keeps your pets under tight control. /macro Swarm "petComAll Attack$$powExecName Call Swarm" is the example for Call Swarm. I use that for all my MM attacks. coneheal.txt coneheal2.txt
  20. Here is my current Beasts /Time MM build. Very sturdy. and with damage procs for the MM attacks. My Demon/Nature build is attached also, it's a really fun build. very powerful. I play them both like they are Controllers with great damage. Nature uses Entangling Aura to lock down mobs. The /time build just debuffs everything to hell and back and keeps things stunned. I freaking love entangling aura. Distortion Field on /Time is pretty nice also. Seasons Change - Beasts-Time MM (live build 09-25-2021).mxd Heaven Hell - Demons Nature MM.mxd
  21. Beasts/time and beasts/nature are both strong. IMO you can't go wrong with beasts since they clump together for good aoe healing. Sure enemy aoe's can hurt them but it does all melee pets. I can post a beasts/ time build the next time I'm at my pc. I can also send you a demons/nature build that is soooo fun. You can just port it to beasts. I would send you a beasts/nature one but I'm trying funky things with it now and it's all goofy.
  22. how do you actually calculate DPS pylon kill?
