Alas, I do not. I’m still a build newbie. However I’m going to keep watch on this thread because I am leveling up a beast/kin and it may be helpful. I also might do demon/kin next.
-
Thanks for the image: I'll post it on my MySpace page! ;D The build has only SOs in it as a leveling build. If you want to slot it with KB2KD proc, knock yourself out. Or down. Or back. Whatever works for you. ;) Do you need accuracy Io/So also?

Oh damn it! I just made a Electric/kinetic hyper speed controller. Now I need to do a frad, that looks interesting

I had a crazy idea... and it WORKED!
SmalltalkJava replied to madpoet67's topic in General Discussion
Yep. That is the beauty of this tip. You can put it on keys that you want. long, short. Pretty cool -
It’s too bad that kin diss t make them attack faster. It does make them run fast from target to target. Thugs /kin seems like it would be really good with Gang War. Right now my kin is Beast, I’ll try Thugs next

FYI. I created a bug post for this a few days back https://forums.homecomingservers.com/index.php/topic,7133.0.html

MM Beast pets attack chain inaction bug

Here is some additional testing and a video. https://forums.homecomingservers.com/index.php/topic,6691.msg62144.html#msg62144 -
I would like to have an option that shows a debuff expiration timer. That way I can tell when a debuff i cast is going to expire.

True. At low levels Gale with kB -> kd IO and several accuracy is pretty Uber. Knocks down entire groups

Ninja/Thermal, anyone have a build for this?
SmalltalkJava replied to Rebel230's topic in Mastermind
Yeah that isn’t a popular combo from what I can tell. The only thing I can guess would be to look at Redlynnes Ninja slotting from the ninja/time build. And maybe a thermal slotting from a demons/thermal build. That could, I think, get you started. I can’t remember but I think Dixa posted a demon/thermal build. It could have been someone else though -
I don’t think the primary would really make that much of a difference besides bots knockback if the friend uses melee or location Debuff a skills. That can be fixed though with a kB to Kd io Secondary though... Thermal. Brings shields for resistances and heals FF. No heals but brings defense Dark has heals and Debuffs If your partner does not have self heals or group heals then go with thermal or dark. Generally I’d pick thermal or dark over FF. -Just plain utility wise and multiple tool availability. Personally I’d rank them in this order 1. Thermal 2. Dark 3. FF

How do the MM sets compare against each other these days?
SmalltalkJava replied to Seroster01's topic in Mastermind
I created a bug report. https://forums.homecomingservers.com/index.php/topic,7133.0.html -
For some background information. Here is a post and additional follow up regarding other pees not having this issue. https://forums.homecomingservers.com/index.php/topic,5922.msg48946.html#msg48946 It seems that beast pets once they start to attack after their initial chain, will pause for a few seconds and not do anything. We aren’t sure if it is some baked in animation or not. It appears that their skills have recharged and are available for use. It isn’t that they are casting buffs. They just stand there and don’t activate their next attack for a few seconds.

The homecoming of Sandolphan's MM Numpad binds!
SmalltalkJava replied to Warlawk's topic in Mastermind
This is really cool. I have a question it looks like you probably play with both hands on the keyboard. And not one on the mouse. I tried this but the camera control was clunky always so slow to turn and pan up and down. How do you handle this? -

Level 24: Beasts/FF Compared to Bots/FF Defenses - The Numbers
SmalltalkJava replied to SmalltalkJava's topic in Mastermind
Granted I'm not near level 50 yet on any MM, so my input has no real basis in reality. But it appears that if you have Fulcrum Shift and the beasts are at the damage cap, then the bonus damage from Pack Mentality probably won't do anything. I"m not sure if crits go above damage cap or not. I was really trying to find if there was a simple way to get the beasts at defence cap and not have to use Fortify Pack. That way you could have the +crits and capped defense on them and maybe add other procs into the shields. On a side note i'm not really sure if there are any worthwhile procs to put in the shields anyways. -
I ran a test today on Beast MM Lioness Slotting. The Lioness Roar +DEF buff is not affected by +DEF IO's. It was +6 both with and without a IO slotted. Pets were re-summoned before and after the each IO test. Take for example the Bots/ Protector Bots. Their force bubble is enhanced by +DEF IO's. https://forums.homecomingservers.com/index.php/topic,7051.0.html

Yeah, they tried to get get +recharge to allow for pet abilities to recharge faster. But evidently that just made them run haywire and /brawl all the time.

Level 24: Beasts/FF Compared to Bots/FF Defenses - The Numbers
SmalltalkJava replied to SmalltalkJava's topic in Mastermind
Same slot test with Beats/FF with one level 25 crafted IO slotted in Dispersion Bubble, and Insulation Shield. Ranged Def Howler Wolf 1 Total: 34.92 % With 1 Roar active: 40.92; 2 Roars Active 46.92 Maneuvers +2.63 From Nature Conservancy Resistance +9.95 from Self Dispersion Bubble +8.94 from Nature Conservancy Insulation Shield +13.41% from Nature Conservancy Base Defense +0.00% Lioness 1 Total: 36.08 % With 1 Roar Active: 42.08; 2 Roars Active 48.08 Maneuvers +2.63 From Nature Conservancy Resistance +11.10% from Self Dispersion Bubble +8.94 from Nature Conservancy Insulation Shield +13.41% from Nature Conservancy Base Defense +0.00% Important NOTE: Lioness Roar with one slotted 25 IO did NOT go up in value. It remained at +6.00 for each lioness. Unless I am missing something... I did not see any effect from slotting + DEF IO on the Lioness. 1 slotted bubbles Wolf Def is 34.92 - 1 roar makes it go to 40.92 minimum for 25% of the time. and even 46.92 if there is overlap. So you will get quite a lot of bouncing around. 1 slotted bubbles on Lioness def is 36.08 with bouncing up to 42.08 and 48.08 depending on roar timing. -
Level 24: Beasts/FF Compared to Bots/FF Defenses - The Numbers
SmalltalkJava replied to SmalltalkJava's topic in Mastermind
I did another quick test with just Bots/FF with one level 25 crafted IO slotted in Protector Bots, Dispersion Bubble, and Insulation Shield. Ranged Def Battle Drone 1 Total: 42.68 % Maneuvers +2.63 From Lord Varas Force Shield +8.85% from Protector Bot Force Shield +8.85% from Protector Bot Dispersion Bubble +8.94 from Lord Varas Insulation Shield +13.41% from Lord Varas Base Defense +0.00% Protector Bot 1 Total: 33.83 % Maneuvers +2.63 From Lord Varas Force Shield +8.85% from Protector Bot Dispersion Bubble +8.94 from Lord Varas Insulation Shield +13.41% from Lord Varas Base Defense +0.00% Note: I didn't put an IO in Maneuvers. Afterwards I did and it just raised the totals to 43.18 and 34.33 respectively. So from +2.63 to +3.13% with 1 level 25 crafted IO. -
I was thinking about the other thread that shows pets base defenses and resist numbers. https://forums.homecomingservers.com/index.php/topic,5003.0.html That in turn, got me thinking about in game comparisons with Force Fields. I just happened to have a level 24 Beasts/FF and 24 Bots/FF. Neither of which has any +Def slotted in any skills. I wanted to get an idea of their defense differences for several reasons. 1. Not casting Fortify Pack keeps the Pack Mentality crit buff going. So more damage. But how close does it get to cap without using Fortify Pack 2. Protector Bots have Force Shield, how does this compare to the inherent defense stat that Beasts have. 3. are the aura IO's necessary on bots and beasts if you use /FF. Which would allow you to slot something else. ----Level 24 Unslotted Bots/FF VS Beasts/FF ---- Ranged DEF Battle Drone 1 Total: 36.38 % Maneuvers +2.63 From Lord Varas Force Shield +7.50% from Protector Bot Force Shield +7.50% from Protector Bot Dispersion Bubble +7.50 from Lord Varas Insulation Shield +11.25% from Lord Varas Base Defense +0.00% Protector Bot 1 Total: 28.88 % Maneuvers +2.63 From Lord Varas Force Shield +7.50% from Protector Bot Dispersion Bubble +7.50 from Lord Varas Insulation Shield +11.25% from Lord Varas Base Defense +0.00% ---- Beasts without Foritfy Pack ---- Ranged DEF Howler Wolf 1 Total: 31.32 % Resistence +9.95% from Self Maneuvers +2.63 From Nature Conservancy Dispersion Bubble +7.50 from Nature Conservancy Insulation Shield +11.25% from Nature Conservancy Base Defense +0.00% Lioness 1 Total: 32.48 % Resistence +11.10% from Self Maneuvers +2.63 From Nature Conservancy Dispersion Bubble +7.50 from Nature Conservancy Insulation Shield +11.25% from Nature Conservancy Base Defense +0.00% -- Beasts Lions Roar adds +6.00% for each Lioness that casts it. Lasts 15 seconds, recharge 1 minute -- If both casts happen to sync then it is +12.00% total for 15 seconds. -- Howler Wolf 1: 37.32 If 1 Lion Roars -- HOwler Wolf 1: 43.32 If 2 Lions Roar ------ Fortify Cast with 0 stacks Pack Mentality ------------- Ranged DEF Howler Wolf 1 Total: 36.32 % Resistence +9.95% from Self Maneuvers +2.63 From Nature Conservancy Dispersion Bubble +7.50 from Nature Conservancy Insulation Shield +11.25% from Nature Conservancy Fortify Pack +5.00% from Nature Conservancy Base Defense +0.00% Lioness 1 Total: 37.48 % Resistence +11.10% from Self Maneuvers +2.63 From Nature Conservancy Dispersion Bubble +7.50 from Nature Conservancy Insulation Shield +11.25% from Nature Conservancy Fortify Pack +5.00% from Nature Conservancy Base Defense +0.00%
