You can stack set bonuses of the same value and type up to five, no matter the source. Here’s an example: let’s say I have a Archery/Bio Armor sentinel. If I put a Thunderstrike set in 4 of my single target powers (Snap Shot, Aimed shot, Stunning shot, Blazing arrow) I will get the 2% recovery from the 2 piece bonus on each of them for a total of 8%. If I then slot Impervious Skin in two of my resist powers (Hardened Carapace, Genomic Evolution), I will only get one more 2% recovery from Impervious Skin’s 4th bonus because I will have reached 5 after one more bonus for a total of 10%. But ThunderStrike and Impervious Skin don’t share any other bonuses, so I get all the 3 slot bonuses. (10% energy/negative defense, 2.5% ranged defense and 3% HP.) If I feel I want more recovery, I could change one of the Impervious Skin sets into a Impervium Armor set. That would give me a 2.5% recovery bonus, which counts because the value is different. My total recovery from set bonuses in that case would be 12.5%. I would also have the same energy/ranged defense as before, 1.5% hp and 1.88% psionic defense. As you can probably guess, the challenge of making builds is finding the combination of powers and sets that gets you to your goal while respecting the rule of 5 limit and without crippling your ability to fight.

I think we’ll need a screen shot of your UI to properly diagnose this. Use /screenshotui 1 to display your UI in a screen shot. By default the Prnt Scrn key takes a screen shot and drops it in your CoH install directory.

Might be a missing dollar sign in front of playername to make it a variable rather than the word playername. Try posting this in the typos thread for better visibility/collectedness.
-
Also, who were you fighting? The new Blackwing enemy group has reverse taunting mechanics and preferentially target squishies with it.
-
It’s a new tip. I hear it drops as an enemy drop like all other tips. It’s not a tip in the alignment system, so it’s not on the mission computer. If you do a radio mission it’ll probably drop by the end of it.

Link worked for me. That’s a bug that occasionally happens to any openable door. I think your client and the server get de-synchronized so that the server opens the door, but the client doesn’t get told the door opened. The door opening animation doesn’t play, but the server doesn’t have a reason to stop the player from moving on.

Are you clicking the hole in the ground to enter the nest, or just waiting for them to come out into the world? Cause the boss doesn’t come out. If you have cleared out the nest and still aren’t seeing them, that could be a bug of some kind, or it could be a hidden tunnel you’re missing.

Gonna preface this by saying it’s been awhile so I could be wrong about this. I believe the Curse of weariness is a temporary auto power given to you by the vanguard enemy, rather than a traditional debuff. The City of Data blurb that mentions until caster defeated also mentions that it is self only. The caster of the power is YOU, so that’s why it out lives the enemy. The duration you keep the power for is 5 minutes.

That one character of hers could be under hide status?

Note also you have to have “Remember me” (or whatever the check box is to automatically enter your user name) checked for playerslot.txt to be referenced.

Something strange with Thugs MM Bruiser and Foot Stomp
Honorbridge replied to kelika2's topic in Bug Reports
I wonder if that’s an oversight from when they reduced T9 primary powers becoming available at 26 instead of 32. -
Character timeouts and military service.
Honorbridge replied to TheHeyzoose's topic in Help & Support
I’m not certain exactly what you are concerned about here. Your characters themselves are under no danger of deletion unless you do it yourself. The worst that could happen is you might have to rename them. However, the system for releasing names is not active, with no indications that it will go live in the foreseeable future. -
Clicking on pedestrians with names starting with a certain letter can give you information about the game. Names that start with F give you the time IN Paragon City. A ‘day’ in game takes about half an hour real life time, so the time it takes to click a few times means a few in-game minutes have passed. https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Civilian_NPCs for more about info that can be obtained from NPCs.

missing villain contact when in hero zone
Honorbridge replied to Ridiculous Girl's topic in Bug Reports
Rogue Isle contacts, like Doc Buzzsaw, can only be talked to while in the Rogue Isles. Paragon City contacts can only be talked to while in Paragon City. Ourobouros counts as your home area (Paragon City for hero/vigilante, Rogue Isles for villain/rogue). This is working as designed. -
Salvage dropping outside of appropriate level range.
Honorbridge replied to Luminara's topic in Bug Reports
Hmm, by any chance did you run into that bug where Council bosses/Lts. are pulling from the wrong subgroup, and are over leveled for the mission as a result? Because if you got some bugged lvl 35 councils, that might explain the high level salvage (they drop the entire list of mid and high level salvage at 35.) -
Salvage dropping outside of appropriate level range.
Honorbridge replied to Luminara's topic in Bug Reports
Still fighting at level, I presume? Increased difficulty, whether solo settings (+1) or from teaming, could result in those drops, but they should not drop from level 33 mobs. If you identify what you were fighting, it could give the devs a place to start checking drop tables. -
The player notes are a simple text file stored locally with the client. They have no connection to the server, so they can’t be updated. Take note, if you login to your account from another computer, your notes will not be there.

When viewing the forums menu (the three bars) on my mobile device (iPhone), the option “Account” shows up twice, but with different options for each of them. The first seems to be about managing forum settings, while the second seems to be about setting up game accounts. I’d recommend renaming one or both of them. Maybe something like “Forum account” or “Manage accounts”.

Miss Thystle's Plea (hero tip) - NPC allies can't be buffed
Honorbridge replied to Luminara's topic in Bug Reports
Looking at City of Data for Grant Invisibility, the power only affects Leaguemates rather than Allies. Therefore, NPC allies ARE ineligible targets. In fact, so would be players you are not teamed with. I’m not sure this is actually a bug. My guess is the intention was to prevent drive-by buffing rendering people unable to see their costumes/characters. -
First, check this link and see if it helps: Second, you shouldn’t use your email address as your forum display name, it’s bad security. You can change it under Account(the first one)>Account settings in the menu at the top of the page (directions based on mobile version, may differ on desktop.)

Arbiter Sands is normally an Archvillain - as such, he is not a Boss, and is not affected by your settings regarding bosses. He’s affected by your Archvillain settings, which when off makes him an Elite Boss - which is not the same as a Boss, but is rather the tier of enemy between a Boss and an Archvillain. EB is the lowest rank he will go. Edit: By the way, we have a separate Bug Reports forum a few down. That would be a better place to post a bug next time so the Devs can keep them all in one place and see them more easily.

What does Healing do withing Support Radial Embodiment power?
Honorbridge replied to cohRock's topic in General Discussion
As far as I know, it boosts your heal OTHER things powers. As you are a fire/fire tank, that basically means medicine pool or Rebirth Destiny. It doesn’t affect your lore pet because they only get one instance of the hybrid power inherited when summoned - which lasts 10 seconds - whereas you get the power refreshed as long as the power is active.
