  1. The 2 LT/1 minion composition sounds like your team setting got bumped by 1 to x2. Did you accidentally change the setting? As Zag mentioned, EBs downgrade to Boss level when bosses are off, so without knowing the enemy or mission, I can’t say what was happening there. Also, boss enemies that transform (like Council Archon into Warwolf) spawn boss enemies even when downgraded. I don’t know if that’s a bug, intentional, or a system limitation. Ambush against toxic is a bit ugly, but Toxic defense has been added, so I can’t be surprised to see enemies it is effective against.
  2. Your forums login information and your game login information are not the same. Click Aries’ password reset link and it will tell you your game user name and allow you to change the game password. If you haven’t separately made a game account, I assume it will allow you to do that. Also, just to check the simple, your Caps lock is off, right?
  3. There is an option to toggle to make “Pets” appear over the team window. I’m away from my computer and can’t check, but I’d try to look in Options > Windows > Pets and see if you see it there. This option is not always on by default.
  4. Make sure you are using your game username/password, and not the one for the forums. They are not necessarily the same. If you haven’t created a game account yet, go to account, then game account to do so.
  5. Sounds like your character occasionally does not get logged out properly, though I couldn’t say why that might be.
  6. Maybe check your accessibility functions and see if sticky keys has activated? It’s possible to auto activate that function in certain circumstances. Unrelated to sticky keys, I’ve also had moments where if I alt-tab out for any reason, the alt key gets ‘stuck’. Pressing it a time or two once back in the game usually frees it back up
  7. I can’t think of a reason Lazarus wouldn’t provide the TF, but Twilight’s Son is for Hero/Vigilante alignment only. If you are Villain/Rogue, you either need to change alignment or talk to Tesseract for her arc. If you are already native blue side, I’m stumped again. Edit to add: Did Homecoming change these contacts to remove the TF status and just made them regular contacts?
  8. That’s because the only universal damage set is Overwhelming Force, which is always attuned. There aren’t any crafted universal damage sets.
  9. Netgraph is a command inside CoH. Just type into the chat bar like so: /netgraph 1
  10. The change was only to offensive toggles, not defensive ones or clicks. I’m not sure why your resists are lowering, it sounds like a bug to me.
  11. Have you worked with Interrogator Kang already? Many of the arcs in Preatoria have lasting effects which can include removal of contacts. Kang’s arc results in the removal of Dr. Steffard.
  12. Are all the newish female skulls counted toward that badge? I feel like I’ve seen this issue or similar before and that was the answer, some newly added minion type not added to the badge tracking. Edit to reply to the below: There is a separate boss skulls badge (Bonebreaker I think?), but all skulls should count toward Kill Skuls.
  13. This is a known issue, and I think it may even have been fixed in dev land, but a new patch hasn’t rolled out yet. I’ll poke around and see if I can find the post regarding fixing it. Edit: Found it. The Caretaker replied at the bottom of this thread:
  14. Assuming you are wanting to set up all your character chats the same way, you can save your entire chat setup in the options menu. I want to say the button is at the bottom of the windows tab, but I’m away from my computer and can’t check at the moment. I’m not aware of a command for creating new tabs, but I’m no expert on text commands in general, so if there is one, I’m sure someone will be along to chime in about it.
  15. Copied from HCWiki: Tyrant is able to summon Boss-class versions of Olympian Guards at level 54 at various intervals, which attack players. He is also able to use Power of Tartarus, a 60ft sphere centered on him, to give himself bonus ToHit and Smashing Damage by using the lifeforce of any Olympian Guards in range. This buff duration is 60 seconds, and stacks, but each application refreshes the duration of all other stacks. However, when Tyrant drops below 40% health, Olympian Guards are no longer available.
  16. It’s not Ouro the zone, it’s being on a Ouro mission. That puts you into Task Force mode which disables automatically going afk at all. The only time you’d see an afk bubble on someone on a task force is by manually setting it.
  17. If a person is in TF/Ourobouros mode, the AFK logout timer is disabled. It’s possible this what’s going on with this person.
  18. There are participation requirements for the badge. I don’t know what those are, but it’s possible some characters didn’t meet the requirements. Also, just to check, the badge wasn’t offered when you scrolled the reward window to the bottom?
  19. We sort of have a line of badges for this already - the mentoring line. Advisor, Guide, Paragon, Role Model, Epitome, Paradigm. These badges are granted for total time leading a team, not for an individual count of missions or TFs. They used to be for being a mentor for an individual sidekick, but when the sidekicking system was changed, so were these badges. Every 4 hours of leading grants a new badge up to 24 hours of leadership. Unless HCwiki is very out of date regarding this.
  20. The Pilgrim as a contact doesn’t open up until level 25. Seeing his No More Missions text is a bug, but I don’t know if he has a Prior to Introduction text. The HC wiki says he does, but it’s a rather meta looking thing referencing a game variable, so it might be data mined/a beta placeholder.
  21. Known issue across all servers
  22. Peacebringer Human form is good at melee attacks and self buffing. Radiant Strike and Incandescent Strike are your two hardest hitting attacks, and Solar Flare and Dawn Strike are decent PBAoE. For Buffs, Human form has Inner Light (Build Up), Essence Boost (Dull Pain), Conserve Energy (Conserve Power), Reform Essence (self heal), and Light Form (Mez and Damage resistance). Human Form is also a better travel form than Nova due to Quantum Acceleration/Maneuvers/Flight giving various additional flight speed buffs. Warshade's Human Form is about controls, buff/sustain, and utility. There are several varied types of control powers: Gravimetric Snare (ST Immob), Gravity Well (ST hold, also your highest damage attack), Gravitic Emanation (Cone Stun/KB), Inky Aspect (PBAoE Stun), Unchain Essence (AoE Stun/KB and good damage), Dark Detonation (KB) and Quasar (KB and nuke damage). Warshade Human Form buffs and sustain: Sunless Mire (Damage/To Hit buff), Stygian Circle (HP/End restore), and Eclipse (Endurance drain/Damage resistance). There are also a few utility powers: Starless Step (Teleport other - good for separating dangerous enemies from their friends (Quantums) or bringing teammates to you), Shadow Cloak (Stealth), Nebulous Form (Phase shift), and Shadow Slip (Fold Space). There's a good pet power in Dark Extraction.
  23. So, I made this arc in the long long ago days of Live, pretty soon after AE was introduced. Never advertised it, probably had about 3 comments on it by shutdown. The file was saved along with the rest of my CoH folder all these years, so when I found HC, I put it back up. I recently got my first comment on it, which reminded me it existed. I thought I'd share it with the forum, see what other people might think. Description: Kidnappings by the Red Caps are on the rise. Help Marc Bridge's supergroup investigate why. [SFMA] [SLMA] Some notes/warnings on my design goals: 1. There is an element of vanity arc to this, in that my characters show up as contacts/rescues/pet helpers. I did try to minimize the impact to the player however (the pet types are all LTs for example, and there shouldn't be a penalty if they run off and die.) 2. I tried my best to make this Lore compliant. The setting of the arc is supposed to be one that takes place before the Second Rikti War kicks off. In terms of Issues, this would be set Pre-I9. 2a. The design of the arc was meant to mimic the early I0/I1 contact style, rather than more modern arcs, so you'll see things like several generic hostages to rescue, and a kill all enemies on a large map. Please don't hold that against me too badly. :) So, try this out and let me know what you think?

  24. Thanks for the correction, misread the pop-up text as saying the set can only be slotted in henchman, but it says pets.
  25. Can't find a better thread for this, let me know if there was one. With the changes to Mastermind Henchman recharge, Command of the Mastermind (MM ATO set) has some redundant parts (namely the various recharge enhancement parts). Also, the Recharge Intensive sets no longer make sense to slot in Henchmen. The bit about low-hanging fruit in the patch notes makes me think this just hasn't been gotten to yet, but I wanted to mention it as a reminder/just in case.
