  1. Agree fully with @Strawberryand @Riverdusk. Level 32 is the point of transformation where the Necro pets start healing themselves. Also, the change to the pet AI keeps the Lich at a good distance to hit many, many mobs with its cones. So much so that slotting -ToHit starts to become a little more valuable. The diagmagnetic recommendation is solid as well. That and the advice to slot Overwhelming Force KD proc in the tier 1 helps to layer increasing levels of mitigation parallel to the hefty resistance levels. Overall, great summary here.
  2. IOs can fix just about anything. I’ve been running my claws/fire brute through tons of non-farm content. I don’t think I’ve switched to my “farming” build in months. Staff primary will certainly increase slotting and set flexibility. Here’s a thread from a bit ago that illustrates an approach. Might be an idea or two in there: (Nonfarm build bear the end)
  3. @Doc Ranger I’m pleased as punch to see this (albeit from February) pairing. I’ve just recently returned to the game, and my earth/sonic/leviathan is my favorite controller. Not Def softcapped; merely focused on recharge. @Coyote and @oedipus_tex both speak truth though (as to the value of procs and the limitations of /sonic, respectively). Once I got the pet, it was relaxing to begin upping the difficulty solo, and teaming is a zen-like experience. I hope you tried it out. Here is the thread where the forumites here provided some much-appreciated advice:
  4. Death - Politicians in my Eye
  5. Deep Purple - Highway Star (It’s nice to be back... the latest *troubles* have really taken all my private and professional attention. Miss you all and this thread!)
  6. @Deadshot7 Here is the (historic) article explaining the enhancement diversification figures and diminishing returns: https://archive.paragonwiki.com/wiki/Enhancement_Diversification Basically, it depends on the schedule of the enhancement. Heal is schedule “A.” Quoting from the article, “These bonus types will see a 10% reduction when the bonus is 70% or more, a 30% reduction at 90%, and an 85% reduction at 100% or greater. Specifically, if you put six even-level Single Origin enhancements in one power, they will enhance the power to the following degree: 33.33%, 33.33%, 28.33%, 4.99%, 4.99%, 4.99%.”
  7. The Waitresses - Christmas Wrapping
  8. @Tryna_Dugid I believe this is the build/post you were referring to regarding a farming build: Why do you want to you use a dominator for farming?
  9. I was waiting for this! The Damned - The Turkey Song
  10. Iggy and the Stooges (I mean really though... can’t we agree that this is just the Stooges... frickin’ Main Man...) - Death Trip
  11. Pere Ubu - Street Waves
  12. @Heracleais right on the money. This way, all your alts are working together at all times to amass a functional way to slot up all your characters.

    Brute farmer

Fire is still Queen for farming, for fire resists, burn and the damage aura. Bio also has *many* adherents. Many combinations are discussed in the linked thread. Dark would be less efficient: no spammable AOE, and Soul Drain boost becomes pointless for a damage boost since you will be eating red inspirations as fast as possible. See also:
  14. Check out the recommended builds in post #2. Another version (from the same post, just deeper in):
  15. Pavement - Cut Your Hair
  16. Clearly, Golden Palm runs an SO only build and has not reached softcap. 😝
  17. I really like the layered nature of a Willpower chassis. My WP brute has 32.5 for all types (S/L/E/N/F/C/P ... yes, psychic too), melee radial hybrid for a defense/Regen boost, Ageless Radial for debuff protection, along with Diagmagnetic Core (up to 20%) and Darkest Night -hit debuff (~15%) for run-of-the-mill faux defense (debuff cushion double duty) and pulling. With high S/L resistance (almost 80%) and Regen (122 health/sec without hybrid, 173 with), it handles a lot in a broad spectrum of cases and damage types. Overall, it’s a great secondary with many options, cooperating with many primary power sets.
  18. I’d die to see that in a bio!
  19. *Stolen Crey bio enhancements *fancy anti-super equipment, special bullets, swords crafted of enchanted metal, armor woven with alien technology (clearly not ninjas - everything hurts them) *magical spells woven around minions *genetic modification *deal with a Demon *ninjas/thugs/beasts/mercs = poorly played ATS in need of a good team leader And on and on and on .... This is all imagination. Player generated.
  20. That’s frickin’ poetry right there...
  21. Can - Mushroom
  22. If only using SOs, then Rise of the Phoenix is an excellent power for resetting a fight - Mag 4 stun for 15 seconds, time to bring up your toggles, a medium-sized heal, and a KB to the mobs around you (I like it even on IOs: it is a decent recharge mule for a stupefy or any of the heal sets, or a nice one-slot-wonder for the preventive medicine proc). Inspirations don’t allow for the same kind of effect unless you eat a Rez, a break free, and a bunch of purples for defense. If you had all those (mainly the defense), you wouldn’t have died in the first place! 🤣
  23. @pretty_jesushave fun! And incarnates to taste/situation. The build doesn’t rely on any particular alpha/destiny/hybrid.
  24. All the caveats -- It's not a "farm" build but with Incarnates, it *can* emulate one. (I use a typical "farm fresh" build for that). It was thought experiment, and now I use it for doing Ouro content and goofing around, working on accolades, etc. I'm positive it could be improved and/or streamlined a bunch. In-game, my s/l resists are capped at 90, but in the builder, they are at 81.5%. I don't know wtf happened. This week has kicked my ass so staring at it is making me see penguins. Dancing penguins. With flower-shooting machine guns. *ahem* ignore the last part... I hope it helps! 25. Jerry Garcia - Deal This has been on my list of songs to learn for maybe, I don’t know, 15 years. Finally got around to it the other night after sampling some other songs in this list and a run through some St. Martial arcs.
