Checking in after getting back in game recently.

 

I was around since Beta forums days. Played on Virtue and spend most of my socializing on CoH Guru.

 

We may have interacted on my three primary characters:

  • The Imperial (burgundy and gold, mace-wielding classic hero)
  • Hellcat Jones (big rockabilly redhead, super strength and electric armor and hot rods)
  • Lid (teenager whose brain poured out radiation to compensate for his psychic powers - now trapped inside the super-science helmet which gave him his name)

While I'm not actively playing these characters anymore, I kept the chat handle out of nostalgia!

Is there a certain server that most Ex-Virtue players go to?

I believe the majority have settled on Everlasting; it’s Homecoming’s unofficial RP server.

The "unofficial Roleplay" server is Everlasting. Not 100% of us play there, but any who still want the RP  probably at least hang out there at times.

 

edit, my dyslexia and copy & paste got me. gah. Sometimes I wish dyslexia wasn't a thing.

Hello there, I'm a former Virtue player. An RPer who played the Teenage Villain Hanabi Xiti. A Dark Melee/Will Power brute with a Chi Based Martial Arts theme.

I used to play with the likes of Arachnos Elite, those blue skinned alien people and many others. But it's been so long since the Hayday of Virtue and my biggest times where back when you couldn't change sides. So I'd not be surprised if people don't remember.

 

I'm so jazzed to be back and figured I'd check in and say hello before making an older more mature version of my old character.

I just found Homecoming, Virtue was my home as well! I Don't remember most of my alts sadly, what I do remember are Swimsuit Edition and Natalia R. (it was a Russian last name but idr what. she was a pale blue fox scrapper, idr the particular abilities tho)

I was @spydar on Virtue, most popular/primary RP character was "Thresher Shark" - hung out with much of The Cape crew back in the day and attended several IRLmeet ups over the years in the Chicago area.

😍Stefie here!!! I was originally Butterflye/FireFlye but that was on Triumph then I moved to Virtue and joined the Justice Girls!! It's crazy to think we've come full circle really. I'm so grateful this game still exists! I am currently playing on Indomitable but will probably switch servers at some point, I just haven't decided which to switch to yet. 😛 Probably Excelsiur! Great to see so many people!! City of Heroes truly is home away from home; always has been, always will be. 🙂

I am late to the forum, however I used to play on the Virtue server when it was live.

 

My "most well-known" characters were Kidstar and Admiral Keto, and I belonged to the "Hearts of Virtue" guild.

 

I also had a character named DJ Revenge who was created specifically to hang out with Cape Radio when one of their DJs hosted events in Pocket D.

Oh huh, I guess I should touch base here. Played on Virtue, played a lot of characters. Probably most known for Battlebriar, back ten years ago, or Fatal Harmonic? Either way, I'm around.

Doubt anyone would remember me, I don't think I was all that famous or anything. Maybe regularly talked to like a handful of people. Can't remember what my old usernamer/chat handle use to be. I remember hanging out in Pocket D a lot on any of my many many characters.

My most 'well known' character would probably be Rider Beta, a Kamen Rider inspired character. Someone drew him for me back in they day, but I've since forgotten the artist's name.

If by some miracle someone recognizes me from back in the day, let me know.

Hello! Virtue happened on accident to be my first server and home. Played mainly on my character Doom Doll, Dark/Dark Scrapper. Lil hero doll doin its best to help others...and exploding from time to time. 😛

 

Believe my global was @Doomy back in the day too. ^.^

If someone posts a reply quoting me and I don't reply, they may be on ignore.

(It seems I'm involved with so much at this point that I may not be able to easily retrieve access to all the notifications)

Some players know that I have them on ignore and are likely to make posts knowing that is the case.

But the fact that I have them on ignore won't stop some of them from bullying and harassing people, because some of them love to do it. There is a group that have banded together to target forum posters they don't like. They think that this behavior is acceptable.

Ignore (in the forums) and /ignore (in-game) are tools to improve your gaming experience. Don't feel bad about using them.
