So a friend of mine wants to make a Sith

I'm not very experienced in scrappers, and higher level builds.

Only returned to the game a few weeks ago. Used to have mostly <35 characters on live.

 

I have a friend who wants to join, if he can make a Sith/Dark Jedi.

I was thinking a Scrapper with Katana/Willpower and then Mu Mastery for the lightning.

Can Mu Mastery be recoloured, or is it always red?

 

Do you think this would work?

Any suggestions?

Would Super Reflexes be a better fit?

Yes, you can recolor the Mu Mastery attacks. I changed them to purple on my one toon that uses it.

Energy Aura could work as while depends on how you see the sith and most powers can have the tint changed not sure how much for the one you are asking about but yes he has several options.

You maybe able to do staff and make it glowing to look like the dual sword

Dominator with electric and energy powers

Stalker with staff fighting that can't be hit, can wave their hand in an enemies face to disappear after trapping them in an electric prison.

Scrapper..

Blaster..

Thanks, that does indeed have some nice builds, although it focusses more on a Jedi than a Sith.

I would honestly argue that a Sith would be better represented by a Stalker ... who uses Force Power to "mind trick" everyone into ignoring you (Hide).  Although, that points you in a direction of Ninja Blade/Ninjitsu (with Mu Mastery, presumably) as your path to the Dark Side ...

Honestly it’s really more a reflection of Force Users as “Jedi” is really just the philosophy of the character, but the idea of the build/powers are the same. Bringing a Sith into the equation is just the same, a philosophy of the character with a different colored blade. Even the idea of Force Lightning is technically viable between either. 
 

As Redlynne added, simply taking NB/Ninjitsu as a Stalker for Hide suddenly makes you a thematic Sith, got Placate even! But I’d still otherwise suggest building it the same as the Scrapper (Blade/Staff)/Nin and maybe toss in Mu Lightning for flair.

I wasn't aware that "Ninja Blade" basically also is a Katana. I will have a look at that.

I just made my first character with Force of Will, and that seems to fit the theme rather well too.

 

I went the Scrapper/Stalker route because of Zapp, I know that feels very Force Lightning on my Elec Corruptor. But maybe a Katana/? Brute could work as well?

forever and always   Psi Blade/Ninja   it has force powers  (TK and Mass Levitate)  and a lightsaber (Psi blade).
