Rheinen Posted June 10, 2020 Posted June 10, 2020 Ok, first of all, so happy people have brought this game back. My daughter and I played the original for years and loved it. My question is, even when I log out in, say, a Hospital, when I log back in I have acquired new debt. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong or this is a game mechanic, by design? Any help would be appreciated.

Machariel Posted June 10, 2020 Posted June 10, 2020 Might be a stupid question but are you 100% positive it's not the "patrol XP" that accrues automatically when you log out? It was added I think relatively late in the game's life and kind of looks like debt in the UI. 5
Frostbiter Posted June 10, 2020 Posted June 10, 2020 (edited) Debt is grey, Patrol Xp is light blue. Patrol Xp doubles your xp gains until it runs out. ImpousVileTerror Posted June 10, 2020 Posted June 10, 2020 On top of that, the Patrol Xp will actually -remove- Debt you had when you log off, at a one-to-one ratio. I'm not sure if SCoRE or Homecoming changed it, but the original Patrol Xp took 10 days to max out. Given that all the other Day Jobs were also accelerated, I wouldn't be surprised if this was also accelerated. 1

It's the american medical system. Of *course* you have debt after being in a hospital. 🙂 (Serious answer, if you're not 100% sure if it's patrol XP or debt, hover your mouse over your XP bar - not the circle. It will report XP, patrol XP and debt.) GastlyGibus Posted June 11, 2020 Posted June 11, 2020 (edited) Like others have said, if it's blue, it's patrol EXP and gives you a boost to EXP gained until it runs out. You get like one bar of patrol EXP for every few hours you're logged out, to a maximum of ten bars (an entire level.) If it's grey (although for me it looks dark red, so I dunno what's up with that) then it's debt. Hover your mouse over the EXP bar for a few seconds, it'll tell you how much of all three EXP types you have. Edited June 11, 2020 by GastlyGibus Global Handle: @Gibs A guy with unpopular opinions.
