Some Questions about Spines/Fire farmer

Recommended Posts

Hi all!

I'm somewhat new to the game. Played on live a lot of years ago and now i'm a completly noob again. 🤓

I'm about to build a fire farmer and she just hit Level 50. 🙂

Now i'm planning to respec her not so good io-build, because she has some endurance problems and without purple inspirations the incomning damage is too much.

Here are some questions:

1) What about the "cross punch" from the fighting pool? I've tested it and liked it for the fast animation, knockdown elite bosses and the 10% global recharge time after hit.

2) Do you need "ripper" and "throw spines"?

3) I have seen a lot of  /fire builds with the "Mu Mastery". Is it better than "Pyre Mastery"? The fireball from Pyre works fine with fiery embrace.

4) How can i get the "Mu Mastery"? I wasn't able to choose it.

This is the actual build / pre respec

I know there is a lot of work to do. 😕

The second slot in boxing was a mistake and i think the slots in ring of fire would better be placed in other powers.

I'm not rich enough for the real fancy stuff. 😛

Thanx for some answers

And sorry for the bad english.

Why not slotting fiery embrace and build up?

most active farmers will use insp macros & not need those powers much, if at all, while you'll never use them AFK farming. the other option was to take mules, like for 2 LotG, but that starts to massively increase the price & defeat the purpose of that build.

4: Go to Pocket D.  Talk to Null the Gull (on top of the truck on the red side of the club) and ask it to change your alignment to villain.  Go to Grandville and talk to the arbiter outside the main building.  He will have you read some plaques inside, then talk to him again to pick a patron,,,

This doesn't work for me. I was there and all Arbiter Rein says is "  don't think it's safe for either of us to be seen talking to each other. Maybe if you were more like me I might reconsider. "

That's what it says if you are a VIGILANTE I think.  You need to pick "Change my alignment to VILLAIN"

Also note that you must be at least level 35.

Ok, i've got to take a look at this. I think, i didn't get the option "villain".  But i must admit, it would be good thing to put my glaces on, when reading the small textes. 🤓

I'm lvl 50, so this shouldn't be the problem.

I was really stupid, not reading good enough. 😮

She has now the mu patron powers and some sets. Not good enough für afk farming, but this isn't my target.

With roundabout 30 % fire defense and an attack chain with the aoe attacks she runs good and fast enough against  +4/8. 🙂

A blue and a purple inspi some time and she's unstoppable.

This is how she looks at the moment:

And now i need a "notice of the well" to receive my alpha slot. But for this is a taskforce to run with a squishi character , wich feels only safe and cosy in the AE. 😛

I've got to look, how this coueld be managed.

Thanks for all the helb and the good advise.

You don't need notice of the well.  Look at your alpha slot recipe again, and then scroll down on that panel.  You'll see there is a second recipe you can use instead.  No need for Notice of the well or incarnate shards, you can use threads and empyrean merits instead.  No task forces necessary, just keep farming.

Glad things are working out!

oof. This incarnate system looks like work in progress to mee. 😮

So complicated and overloaded.

Got to take a look a this at the evening.

Oh. And another question (sorry :p):

The describtion on the enhancement in scirocco's derwish "Chance of damage"  doesn't say anything about how good the chance is and how much damage it is. The enhancements "Chance of damage" are very expensive and i'm not sure, whether they are worth it.

3.5 PPM @71.75 dmg for that one. this will help, credit to/courtesy of a longtime friend, @macskull : https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1vd4ZZd1jfhOzdZZkGxC9O0NN5G0T1EdWPu_XRrV6s0U/edit#gid=905771942

imo, procs are worth it in farming. esp if your build is at the limit already & can't add dmg any other way. i tend to get them cheap from lowball bids, but you can also craft the lowest lvl avail (30k vs 500k), or find an odd level where the bucket favors converting from a different (cheaper) set.

I found it! 🙂

And i was able to create the ingredients. Now i only need an [agility core boost]  and again there is no ingame discription , how to get it. I've searched the forum, but with no result.

Just farming and hoping it will appear sometime and somehow?

I bought these procs for all my scirocco' derwish and the positron blasts. And i can see them ticking, while standing in the mob with just those two damage toggels. Way more often, then i thouht. Nice

Thank you! 🙂
