But Brute rage, similarly to SS Rage, now crashes 60 seconds after it reaches maximum.

That's fine since afaik it is impossible to hit maximum fury.

We just define the maximum as whatever level it is actually possible to hit. :D

Taking into account the inability to add slots and enhancements to the extra power...

 

I'd have to agree with the poster above who mentioned Freezing Rain/Sleet. That would be my general #1 choice across all of my toons.

 

Although on my main Tanker, I wouldn't mind having either Icy Bastion or Shadow Meld instead in order to increase his durability.

I think most of the "one extra power" wishes would be ones that added power. However, it seems a lot are for completing theme or for non-power utility. What sorts of gaps in your characters are we needing to fill with our one extra powers?

I'd like to be able to help my teammates/boost them without using up a power slot. That's why I choose fortitude.

How about things that affect the zone or a part of it.  Like making it rain, flip day and night.

Metabolic Acceleration, from the Blaster /Atomic secondary. I can't think of any AT that wouldn't benefit from it, and it is a toggle, so no worries about being unable to slot recharge reductions in it.
