Just finding it difficult to reliably find builds on this thread? Is it due to the low player count on sent? 
i make builds on other classes I’m familiar with but not sure how to on sent and which skills to miss / pick

 

looking for an elec/bio or water/bio with the obvious obligatory psi pool

 

unless someone has a suggestion for what could be better than that?

There definitely isn't a high demand for Sentinel builds. On top of that, the "experts" of the AT tend to teach people how to fish, rather than just give them a fish. But, I'll tell you h'wut, I'll go through my build list and dump everything in this thread. It won't cover everything because I don't use a lot of secondaries, but I'm pretty sure I have every primary done.

So I have a Bio and Fire build for (almost) every primary from comparing numbers in my spreadsheet. The Fire builds should have included Burn in them, but apparently some do not. Some of my builds are old and my style has changed subtly, but not dramatically. The vast majority use Psi Mastery for obvious reasons. Some of the builds are extremely old from when I was trying to remember how to make builds, I may or may not post those. If a build is incomplete, I probably won't be posting it at all. It seems I even have the coveted Electric/Electric a few people seem excited about right now.

What someone previously stated  better to teach a man to fish than to feed the hungry man. When it comes to Sent most build fall under either proc monster or recharge/secondary effect.  That being stated you can build your sent how ever you want. Below I will post a Elec/Bio recharge build. You can compare it to the two above  where they went proc in different ways.  One went Dom + mindprobe proc  build. 3 Different ways, 3 Different reasons. I can say I went this way to capitalize on end drain of the nuke with recharge and also recharge allowed me to almost perma leech. On a other note most of my other Sent are proc builds. Except Dark primary which is also Recharge.

Hasten gets 2x50+5 commons. BU/Aim/etc get Gaussians %, and then a 50 End/Rech if I have the extra slots. Think I've got something in my Beam/EnA, so that Aim and Nuke are on about the same timer.

That's basically what I'm getting at. Anyone slotting the way I said from my post doesn't really know much about slotting a Sentinel.

The only Sentinel I've gotten to 50 so far is my Dark/Elec Sentinel... I have some other builds, but don't feel comfortable until I've gotten them to 50+incarnates...

Does Dual Pistols / Willpower make a good pairing?  Thematically it seems great.  I haven't found any talk of it on these forums.  I'm curious of how well  it would play when teaming up.

Good is pretty subjective. 

In my opinion, Sentinel Willpower isn't as competitive with some alternatives like Energy Aura or Invulnerability. That doesn't mean the build can't or won't work. It just means that Willpower on Sentinels isn't as strong as it can be on Tankers or Brutes (where higher health caps is more significant with regeneration). 

Sentinel Invulnerability comes with its own endurance management (unique to the AT), a passive small absorb shield, and all of the current buffs to psi-resists. In essence, Sentinel Invulnerability does everything Willpower does, but does it better. (Or, you can't regenerate like WIllpower can, BUT Dull Pain can work as an on demand heal which is just better than passive regeneration any day of the week). Energy Aura is just amazing on any AT that has it. 

If you want more damage while still having the mixed resist/defense feel plus healing, then Bio Armor is Willpower's final form. 

Dual Pistols is a great set though, and I enjoy it FAR more on Sentinels than I do on Blasters. The only competition for fun with Dual Pistols is Defenders and Corruptors (of which I happen to have with the set as well).

Do you use Invulnerability or do you use Bio Armor?  I've shied away from Bio Armor because I've read it can be clicky?  Not sure what that means when referring do a defensive set but I didn't want to add more "clicking" on top of what I do for my offensive set.

I don't find it clicks, except for swapping adaptation. On bios I set ablative carapace on auto, and on a SR sent I do the same with Master Brawler.

 

DP/SR is pretty damn awesome. So is archery/ninja/ninja. So is Fire/bio, and so (I think?) Is DP/Fire...working on that now.

I run Super Reflexes. 

Bio Armor has a few reactive powers which are clickable. That is where the "clicky" can come into play. Invulnerability has Dull Pain and Unstoppable as click powers. Unstoppable, in its current state, can be skipped but who knows what the Homecoming team will do with T9 defense powers in the future.

Hmm, I don't know why I didn't see Super Reflexes as one of the secondary powers.  I'm going to try that one so I can stick with my natural concept.  Thanks for the comments and information.

Curious if anyone has a Electric Blast / Energy Aura sapper-leaning build lying around? 🙂

 

I'm able to open every single one except every one @Underfyre submitted. Of course they are the only one to submit an Ele/EA build.
