They don't provide that much, just skip em, I bet you'll never miss em. I know I don't.

The HP ones, sure, but I absolutely notice the Atlas Medallion every time I grab it on every character. Portal Jockey feels really good on specific builds, like Storm Summoning MMs.

On the actual topic, Synapse is by far my least favorite thing to do in the game that I actually regularly do. I enjoy the other main TFs and end up doing it just for the badge more than the HP but I always hate the whole hour or so it takes.

Stephanie Peebles mission arc kinda/sorta fits here for me.  I want to be completely fair about this.  I don't actually hate the missions themselves.  They have a lot of kill alls that you have to slog through, but this is only boring after the first several times you do them.  That ring is a really sweet buff, though, so I do the chain with a lot of characters to get it.  I think it's more the repetition that has made it boring for me, but that ring is powerful, so it's totally reasonable that you have to do some slog work to get it.  And I do feel a little tickle of warmth in the cockles of my rogue/vigilante heart that I helped the old girl, so I guess I even still get some measure of enjoyment out of running the chain, when all is said and done.

But what TF's, missions, or other content do you do that is presumably  supposed to be fun but isn't and you just do it for the reward?

I can't say that I do anything "just for the rewards".

I'm not a grinder.

If someone posts a reply quoting me and I don't reply, they may be on ignore.

(It seems I'm involved with so much at this point that I may not be able to easily retrieve access to all the notifications)

Some players know that I have them on ignore and are likely to make posts knowing that is the case.

But the fact that I have them on ignore won't stop some of them from bullying and harassing people, because some of them love to do it. There is a group that have banded together to target forum posters they don't like. They think that this behavior is acceptable.

Ignore (in the forums) and /ignore (in-game) are tools to improve your gaming experience. Don't feel bad about using them.

The passive accolades. I don't mind the explorations. But when you're level 35, have all the tanks and the gears already, finding fakes is tough, unless there's a nem event.

I have friend in game that wait until they're 50 to get the accolades. I have no idea why. I like to get invader as soon as I think about it. It's been later recently, with the Patrol XP for exploration badges.
I used to have a fire blaster on an alt account get the spiders and family for me in port oakes. Took maybe 30 minutes solo, or even less if I have a group running for them. But, lately, with the frequency of Nem events, I've been trying to get that one more organically. Still, waiting until level 40 to get it...that's just lame to me. At that level, I'm thinking about portal jockey.

If I could just spend a billion inf for each character to have all 4 passive accolades, I'd do it. It was interesting the first few times. But 200 and some odd level 50's, all doing Maria Jenkins arc..that's really lame.
I might try the red side equivalent, but I have a feeling 1M pts of damage is going to take a lot longer than an MJ arc.

Hami and MSR.  I do them once per character and that is about it.  Both are solved and I feel like I'm just following along and blasting.  I never feel super or really needed on either of those.  I feel like I have more of an impact on a league at the Murder Hotel in the Halloween event than participating in either of those.

On new characters, I have around 14 50s and a ton of other characters of various levels, I generally do double xp to 40 and then play the rest of the way.  I really wish that there were some alternative contacts/missions to earn the Portal Jockey Accolade.  I get it on every Hero 50 I have, and, well, I'm just dreading doing the Maria Jenkins (sp) arc again, especially the mission you team up with Synapse.  I like Positron, but I'm tired of working so hard to be his friend (or Statemen's Pal if I run the original through ouro)

For the most part if I don't like something, I don't run it (PVP, Eden and Sewer Trials).  That said, I echo the bit about the rather obnoxious patron arcs; doing them for the 99th time doesn't make them any less annoying.

Accolade buffs are something I usually pick up organically as I happen to stumble across groups doing the relevant content or not at all, with only the Atlas Medallion being worth going out of my way for.  Wouldn't be onerous at all if it weren't for that damn escort mission.  There's no such thing as a fun or rewarding escort mission.

Once in a blue moon I'll do the Syncrap TF. I don't bother with most that I don't like unless I am teaming with friends. I haven't done Shadow Shard stuff. I've done Citadel once since I found this game 4 years ago. Once in a while I'll do one of the older TFs/SFs but a few are just not for me.

I have, again, reduced the time I spend on CoX. It's getting to be the same old and the new content isn't for me. I've made a lot of suggestions and none have been implemented - clearly they're not into my ideas. I appreciate the HC Devs and all they do and we all need to take breaks once in a while.

Virtually nothing. I can't stand Hami and can count the number I've done since launch on one hand. I might join a MSR once or twice a year (never before lvl 50). If I want a patron pool, I rotate through the arcs and enjoy most of the other patrons more than Black Scorpion. I try to get the defeat badges for the accolades in the normal course, but there are a few that often require camping a location and defeating a bunch of greys (Pirate and Spider Smasher).

The Mothership Raids.  30 minutes of "pew pew pew" while standing in a bowl.  I've actually fallen asleep at my keyboard multiple times during it, and have long hoped for an overhaul that would introduce seemingly random elements that would shake things up a bit.  I fare a little better when playing a tanking character, as that involves some risk going out on the edge to gather in new fodder for the bowl brigade.
