proper magical practice is a science, not an art. if a spell works it's because it is a repeatable routine that conforms to hidden laws of the universe. physicists are just wizards.

That's like... Your opinion...heavily so

nope! i know exactly what i am talking about. but i can understand how a person with zero familiarity with the subject might mistake my statement as an opinion, that's reasonable enough.

We can agree to disagree, as a ten year Adept in the Temple of Set, and practicing Animist in Southeast Asia...I assure you I know my stuff too. 👹

Hmm...interesting.   I wonder if this could be done to Ghost Widow.  Some sort of Halloween mumbo-jumbo distortion and takeover.  The devs would pretty much have everything in place except the scale of a Halloween version including her powers scaled to a league AV opponent level.

Giant versions are apparently easy: One of my favorite Dev events was when they summoned a gigantic version of ME, who proceeded to stomp me into the ground. Best defeat ever!

Disclaimer: Not a medical doctor. Do not take medical advice from Doctor Ditko.

Also, not a physicist. Do not take advice on consensus reality from Doctor Ditko.

But games? He used to pay his bills with games. (He's recovering well, thanks for asking!)

then You should already Know that the Black Flame was given to You so that You may comprehend the universe which was created for You to inhabit. it is of no utility to be capable of intellect and reason in an unintelligent and reason-less universe.

altho, seeing as i received my education in a tradition exactly opposite of yours i guess i would say that ❤️

WAIT.

Stop.

It has to be a dinosaur.

A dinosaur receives the Mickey Goldmill seal of approval, because they can cause a variety of damage.

Get busy living... or get busy dying.  That's goddamn right.

i’m not sure whether this would be possible within the game engine, but it would be cool for a genuinely challenging or scary halloween GM

similar to the IP ghost ship, the GM crosses a slow path in atlas park - a dark, grotesque monster, medusa style. if you target it or get within 50ft you receive a strong debuff that lasts for a long amount of time, e.g 1 hour of in-game time. can only be killed either through setting traps and PbAoEs infront of it without directly targeting it or defeating the monsters that fall off behind it

That's awful. If I got a debuff like that, I would just stand in my base until it expired.

I'm all for some kind of challenging monster, but the mechanics in play need to be where the player has to learn from the mistake made. Not just hide in a base until time elapses. And I don't think brand new characters need a new challenging monster. Let it happen in PI. Or Grandville.

Could possibly add the Abomination from the House of Horrors as an existing asset.

Heck, if we are going with GM's already in the game I would throw in Adamastor, Caleb, Deathsurge, and a powered-up Kraken and  Koago into the mix as well.

I would even throw some AVs wandering around the streets of Peregrin Island like Maestro, Schadenfreude, and Nosferatu with some vampyri or packs of warwolves as backup.

If someone posts a reply quoting me and I don't reply, they may be on ignore.

(It seems I'm involved with so much at this point that I may not be able to easily retrieve access to all the notifications)

Some players know that I have them on ignore and are likely to make posts knowing that is the case.

But the fact that I have them on ignore won't stop some of them from bullying and harassing people, because some of them love to do it. There is a group that have banded together to target forum posters they don't like. They think that this behavior is acceptable.

Ignore (in the forums) and /ignore (in-game) are tools to improve your gaming experience. Don't feel bad about using them.
