Troo, thank you for bringing this back! I was just thinking about this challenge not too long ago and wondering if it had been brought back around. I was going to do a roll, but your dice roller link does not work.

Well, not the worst setup ever, even though I hate Super Strength lol. I will have to find time to roll this up and report back on it.

Made a perl script based on Troo's work, but I need to account for the combos not allowed like Katana with Shields.

Before accounting for that, we're at 2457 different combos.

 

That should subtract 28 combos if I'm doing that correct across the melee sets. So, 2429 different combos.

# Need to add exclusion of Shield not allowing Claws, Dual Blades, Katana, Spines, Staff Fighting, Titan Weapons
# Exclusion Stone Armor with Claws

Roll 3:  Sentinel-Psychic Blast/Radiation Armor (already have Rad Armor Sentinel--might try Psy)

Yeah, usually I just manually compared the existing list with the current Archetype and Power Sets. Should only be missing a couple.

I am ready for my April 1st Slot Machine's Random Challenge™.  Thank you, Troo, for the challenge.

 

The pandandroid is Key Panda.  Archetype and power sets are random rolls:  Mastermind-Ninjas/Kinetics.

the name is random from Seventh Sanctum - Silly Superhero Names, thanks to Skyhawke.

 

The alignment, Hero/Vigilante/Rouge/Villan, was a random roll: Rouge.  I un-randomly stayed out of Pretoria.  The origin was a random roll: Natural.  The body type was a random roll: Huge.  The body slider, Slim, Average, Athletic, Heavy, was a random roll: Average.  The costume was random.

Did rolls. Got a Robotics/Elec Aff MM. this is probably the most sense that any of my rolls for this activity have ever made.:-) I’ll whip up a character soon.

 

UPDATE: Sheila Foyle loved her job at the Sweet Eats factory and distribution center. Especially the production center, where huge vats of chocolate swirled hypnotically. Thanks to her natural acumen (and days on the farm tinkering and enhancing Paw-Paw's machines), she was well on her way to becoming the 2nd assistant technician. But on her last shift, when she was installing the latest updates -- a new automation system intended to make the company's Andromeda bars even silkier and smoother -- a superpowered brawl between Dr. Maximo and the New Regulators spilled into the factory space. The impact of all that superpowered energy blasted her right into the first batch of Silkysmoothe. Still sizzling with the various effects in her system, she arose from the vat, finding her self strangle imbued with the power of her creamy creation. After a brief period of recovery and training -- during which she obtained a hefty settlement from the Regulators' lawyers for, among other things losing an eye -- she put her newfound skills to work, fashioning an FPG (fancy, powerful gun) and developing her choco-bots into instruments of justice. She now patrols Paragon City as the one and only SHOCKLATIER!

Well, not the worst setup ever, even though I hate Super Strength lol. I will have to find time to roll this up and report back on it.

Rolled a Huntsman Soldier of Arachnos, a Kinetic Melee/Invulnerability Brute, and a Dual Blades/Ninjitsu Stalker. Since I've played Soldiers and Brutes before, I went with #3:

I decided on some additional restrictions for myself:
1. Not going to look up builds or advice for these powersets. I'm going in blind and figure it out as I go.
2. Not going to send him any INF or other goodies from my other characters. He's starting from scratch.
3. Not going to invite him to my super group. No teleporters for you! Ride the train, like a regular schmoe!
