Full Disclosure:  Yes, I have an ulterior motive. I love the look of the Kheldian powers, but I keep nerdraging and deleting my Kheldians around lvl 11-16 after dying to Quantums too many times. Yes, if I wasn't nerdraging over that, I might well be among the first to shoot my own idea down. But hey. The thread title does say "selfish list of things", right?

 

Idea for 7: Blinding Radiance/Umbral Torment - PBAoE Toggle Damage Aura with To-Hit Debuff and Taunt Aura

                 Umbral/Blinding Flash for Stalkers - PBAoE attack with no damage but greater To-Hit debuff and puts Stalker back into Hide State?

 

I am interested in what your ideas for a Luminous/Umbral Assault set would look like.

 

Edit to add: A Lumi/Lumi or Umbral/Umbral Sentinel set might make Human-only Khelds obsolete, though, lol! Hell, my PB is effectively a Lumi/Lumi Sentinel with some melee attacks (Radiant Strike, Incandescent Strike, and Solar Flare) from a Lumi Epic Pool.

Honestly, I hadn't thought it through for Dominator secondary, or for a Blaster secondary.  

Certainly the punch-powers from Luminous Blast / Umbral Blast are low-hanging fruit for the melee attacks.

 

Umbral would probably get more on the Immob side of soft controls, or very-short-term holds, as per Gravimetric Snare / Gravity Well. 

Luminous would be more knockback focused, I'd think. Though really both Blast sets do have their fair share of Knockback powers.

My crack at Luminous Assault, heavily inspired by Energy Assault (because, seriously, it's right there):

  1. Gleaming Bolt
  2. Radiant Strike
  3. Glinting Eye
  4. Luminous Detonation
  5. Inner Light
  6. Solar Flare
  7. Incandescent Strike (reworked to Total Focus's animation time)
  8. Luminous Lance (borrowed from you)
  9. Gleaming Blast

And Luminous Manipulation (I would say try not to laugh too hard at the names of the new powers, but this is entirely off-the-cuff, so have some fun with it):

  1. Light Pulse: ST Foe Disorient
  2. Luminous Barrage: Melee - ST Foe Disorient
  3. Inner Light
  4. Radiant Strike
  5. Light Conservation: Energize Clone
  6. Light Infusion: Power Boost Clone
  7. Pulsar: PBAoE Disorient (finally gets to stack Disorients with other powers in the set)
  8. Blinding Radiance: PBAoE Toggle Damage Aura - Foe To-Hit Debuff
  9. Incandescent Strike (again, reworked to Total Focus's new animation time)

Ooooor maybe leave the Luminous and Umbral stuff to Peacebringer and Warshade as-is? Granted, what powers the VEATs have aren’t super unique per say, but rather a neat combination, with A. Soldiers have a mix of Assault Rifle, Stalker stuff in Bane and Crowd Control and pseudo-MM in Crab, while A. Widows are basically Claws + Thorn + Psionic hybrid, but I rather not stripe away what uniqueness the Peacebringer and Warshade has beyond their exclusive forms, since some prefer to just stick with human form and not bother with the other two forms.

 

Darkness elemental Power Sets can already scratch the Umbral / Void itch, and Energy is already used well as a substitute for light-based powers. I already requested Energy having Melee FX on Energy Blast and vice versa in here, for one, so that you can blast some really luminous projectiles for Energy Blast, while Energy Melee can enjoy punching with particles as FX options, akin to Dark’s Soul Noir option.

 

If the HC devs are already making Luminous and Umbral stuff profiliated to compatible Archetypes, then sure, I can live with that, but I rather have the Kheldians catching up to par and make them relying a lot less of Changeling exploits first and foremost.

Would love to see Boomtown and Creys Folly get a make over with zone wide story arcs and correlated task forces ie; Croatoa & Striga. Bring some new life to those zones

New trials are always good.

New costume options are always welcome - especially pulp and golden age themed

Would be great to see some new additions to the ancillary pools

Would love to see some of the temp powers that can be gained through missions added as purchasable powers ie. tommy guns, swords, bows etc. Just so we can flesh out some themed characters.

I still harken back to the requests for new zones such as underwater, space and a savage land. I understand that these probably aren't doable but would be cool if they were
