Hey all, I recently updated Explicit Content Reborn on Excelsior server !!

The Passcode is ECBASE-2350 and I will post this one image because this is a base that should be explored not just pics posted. There is an elevator hall off of the hotel, be sure to check that out, its the ONLY way to access the ROOFTOP!! This is where you will find a pool, mini golf, even a robot wars arena !

I made a quick(ish) base for the family Supergroup -- Located on Indomitable, Code: GNODAB-1808

The ideas I got from them were "Tree-house" and "Floating Islands", so here is what I came up with!

The story of the base is basically a group of wizards ripped a chunk of Praetoria out and transported to a pocket dimension, after the fall of the world.

First time posting since the game came back.
I have looked at some of the amazing work that's been done and shown off on these forums, and I'm blown away.
It helps me strive to improve my own!
I've been working on it for a while, with the theme being 'Island Fortress Cathedral' and hopefully I'll be able to show something more substantial Soon ™

Welcome to Myst Haven.

Myst Haven is my latest base construction. It's a small town that's located about ten to fifteen miles north of Salamanca (Croatoa). It has a Mayberry feel to it, if Mayberry had an eerie and dark side to it.

Almost everyone in Myst Haven has a dark secret.

Like Tony Morello, the owner of Tony's bar & grill was once a member of the Family, did a dime in the Zig, but turned State's evidence on one of his cohorts when Tony discovered he was a pedophile. He came to Myst Haven to get away, and the fact that he can cook a mean fettuccine alfredo only meant the restaurant business was made for him. Pasta, local microbrews, billiards, video games and pinball, Tony's is an atmosphere of welcoming and togetherness. There's even two rooms above the bar to rent out.

Or Carl Hillberg, owner of Carl's Automotive Repair. Carl had a master's degree in biomechanical engineering and was picked up by Crey almost immediately after he was done his studies. His work included the melding of man and machine, but his moral conscious took hold of him one day, and he released the test subjects from a Crey lab in Brickstown. He ran, going north and wound up in Myst Haven. Since that day a few decades ago, Carl has run his automotive shop with regular peace and quiet.

There's Rosie Simms who owns Go Go Coffee on the strip. A former Crey infiltrator, when she ditched and ran from the organization, she got a lot of help from Carl. Now she serves up the best coffee around along with some mighty fine burgers.

Elijah Uumbato, a former Sky Raider, he wanted out. He was tired of the fighting, tired of everything. He needed something quiet. What was quieter than opening Myst Haven Fine Foods, a grocery specializing in selling locally grown products.

Even members of the Myst Haven Police have their own pasts. Rebeca O'Connelly, a former witch of the Cabal who was kicked out because she was too nice, she's the deputy sheriff of Myst Haven. Robert Gonzalez, once a bone daddy with the Skulls, he cut and run, taking refuge in Myst Haven until his life became full of irony. He's not alone, as he's joined on the force by Horns. That's just his name, the only name anyone knows him by. Horns is a former Hellion, a summoned demon who had too much of a conscious in him. If there's one thing, a Hellion with too much of a conscious can get you killed fast.

And now, there's a new sheriff in town. Jonathan Tiberius Walker, formerly known as Violet Rose Bravo of Malta.

Back to the Fishin' Hole, I really wanted to make an interior apartment for my character Hexen Bullet with this base. The outdoor area around the pond was great, but I also wanted an inside area that had some storage, work tables, and other amenities that would make it look like a livable place. But I was having a lot of issues with the teleporter.

So, I went Narnia all up in this thing!

What is this, King's Row?

One thing I really wanted to prevent was a breaking of immersion where people would fly off when entering the base. How to solve that issue...

Oh yeah! Glass floors also make for great glass ceilings.

The glass is not all over the place, as I didn't put any within the actual area of the fishing hole itself. You can still fly out and see what the base looks like. Which is a big floating rock with a portion of King's Row attached to it.

I am working on some new additions for the island, which has since been named Highwayman's Rock (thanks to Sol and Nova). Working on a pub (called the Rebel's Helm), a few small islands (with circling sharks!) and expanding the area of the water. I'll post up screenshots as soon as it's all done, which I'm hoping is tonight.

Nice, Flint! Good work!

I wanted to share pics of one thing I'm working on right now. This is a co-op project with Shard Warrior. He's done the outsides, I'm doing the inside of the building (Titan-6298, on Torchbearer, if you want to nose around).

This is the lobby:

Second floor, the "hub": transportation, and a bit of an airport feel. Food court, gift shop, kiosk, and your destinations.

There's a lot to see here!

Third floor: Health center, gaming arcade.

And, we'll break this up and post details of the arcade in the NEXT post. 🙂

Arcade details! Stupid forum programming adds everything I post to my "allowed" total, even if they are separate posts, Annoying! Meant I couldn't post this right off.

DDR and first person shooter:

Claw machine

Skee ball and basketball (the little numbers were one of the biggest pains!)

Well, I have one wall completed, the other side still to go.

Closeup of the motorcycles. I am proud of how they turned out!

And finally, the racing game:

I will be adding more racing, another shooter, the pinball machines, and we will see what else I can come up with, if anything. I do with we had more colorful lights and such to play with. 🙂

I have finished (for now) the island retreat, which is named Highwayman's Rock. Complete with a pub. Just need to put in the teleport to get to the island with the pub on it. 100%!! If I’d had tiny letters, I could have labeled games and such. Labeled destinations for the lifts. And so on!

Was going to ask, how'd you get smaller letters on the kiosk? Supergroup plaques and banners?

The kiosk lettering is made from tintable candles in room details and soap bars from bathrooms. Part of the trick there was coming up with a name with no curved letters!

I‘vw even done words with candy boxes, which is about as small as it gets in this editor so far. I don’t recommend it!! Getting little things to stay lined up is super hard!

I bet if we do get tiny letters, they’d have some of the same problems. But at least the words would stay legible!
