  1. I'm not sure she's checking the forums, but I'll post this on behalf of @ElectraOutlaw and such some of the following may need updating. This is what feels accurate based on my personal experience with the group all of these years. SG Name: The Lethal Ladies Theme: As one might expect, this OG era group was originally created with an all female (alt) concept in mind. It originally had a matching Deadly Dudes group (that I may just setup anyway) for the counterparts. Player Expectations: While not an official list, "I" would expect that you be courteous and kind to the others (anyone IRL TBH). The group itself is casual in nature, but pre-planned events are often setup for those who can make it. Base: We have a fully functional base that will likely continue to evolve aesthetically as people feel creative. Not everyone can edit right away, so if that's something you want, then I suggest asking one of the higher (than me) ranks as I'm not sure how that's been decided. You can add/remove things, but I'd advise balancing what you give/take as there's only so much storage and we should share. ;) I can't think of anything beyond that really other than that there is a Discord and in-game chan. Note: Before I finally ran into the other LLs I had created both a group and base on Torch. At this point it seems that the LLs have settled on Indom, so I'm likely going to close up shop their with a redirect to the Indom group. If you'd like to join, then let us know! @ElectraOutlaw -> SG Founder @WanderingAries -> LL Recruiter (alt name and apparently new task >.<), I'll likely be on Torch at the time, but I can swap to Indom when needed.
  2. Yeah, more and more, sites are dropping support for my poor IE browser. I still haven't decided if/when I'm going to move this main system up to Win10. The farther I go in gen, the less stuff works. I have an old Win95 app that still works in Win10, but I have to manually launch it a second time to work right (it keeps everything within screen boundaries).
  3. I was wondering how you were editing beyond that option. At least some work is being done for those of you who understand the numbers. :p Yeah, Mids/Pines didn't want the source out there so I didn't know if you'd managed a decompile or something like that (hadn't read as much).
  4. Just to confirm, if you're Only seeing it in the editor, then it's likely what a few of us have seen (but doesn't appear to be affecting the base's functionality). If you get anything out of it explanation wise, then by all means post it, but I've yet to see it as an issue so far.
  5. There's a bit of stuff that's saved server side that has always been said to be local. For example I've had confirmed instances where character specific UI settings (adjusted for a smaller screen) made their way back to my main machine later. As for your defogging, did you Happen to recently download/update your Vidiots maps? I vaguely recall doing so resetting the FoW in the past.
  6. I came across this a patch or two ago and thought I was tripping. Either way I've not seen a functional problem due to this glitch.
  7. Heh, you don't know HOW many people wonder why their computer (PC and Mac) get slow only for me to tell them to stop putting actual Files on their desktop. That's what links are for!
  8. Yeah, it's probably an anti-spam thing. It'd be best to just add to a thread on here and/or include an @ for those to contact in your group desc ingame.
  9. I've never really had good luck with salvage sorting. Back in OG times I used to have to pull all the salvage out of a bin and redeposit to keep it in the order I dropped stuff in.

  11. I'm assuming it was a mis-speak as you are correct. Nothing is modified, merely redirected. IE: Anything in the Data folder (so long as it's compatible) will take the place of what would normally be loaded in memory while not actually modifying game files (against the original EULA).

  13. Also, I can't seem to use that Mega link to download in IE. It just goes to the main page. Can you use one of the others like Dropbox, Google Drive, etc?
  14. Note: I haven't tested this build yet I'm sure you doing great with things like numbers and such, but could you make a QoL improvement by allowing the UI to scale higher. Meaning, as it sits, if I want to be able to READ things I have to zoom my screen (TV @1080p) in by two in order to A) fill the screen; and B) be able to read the names of things (even then it's hard). This would make it Soooo much more useful and prevent me having to adjust the TV while toggling to/from game.
  15. Even in OG times this was a thing (Especially new WoW expansions). People would play, an expansion would come out, they'd go run that for like a month, and then return. The cycle was known and consistent. Same goes in anything else a gamer does. For example: I was in the middle of replaying the Borderlands series on my PS4 when this came to my attn. Needless to say my poor consoles have been off for the better part of spring/summer. >.< Also, there's an explanation elsewhere on the boards, but basically this had be considered/tried before and it Really broke things, so they put in the 18 salvage limit. Now what you Could do is create multiple bases/groups, leave an alt tied to said group (for adding back alts) and utilize say a single base for extra salvage. If THAT isn't enough salvage, then I'm not sure anyone can help you.
  16. If you'd like a place to store/craft and don't wanna make your own base(s), then you can share one of mine (SG/VG). They're recreated from OG and even back then the actual players had faded away, so unless others choose to join they'll be solo groups. Let me know, @WanderingAries
  17. Maybe change their names to something simple like a single character: . _ I IDK what it'll take as a name, so you'd have to experiment. I'm pretty sure the options let you disable Other pet names though.

I too (in the 5 minutes I bothered testing it out) ran into issues getting on this Discord thing, but I eventually had to Manually put in the last character group (everything after the slash) into the invite box and it took. The site actually tells you to do so. Granted, it's entirely possible I did this in the app and not through a browser and don't remember.
  21. Ok, yeah that would take a bit of lip biting cooperation then as each group is likely to end up modifying things into incompatibility at some point. IDK if that would affect visuals, but it would make it difficult. Not unworthy the effort if someone wants to try though.
  22. I rarely do so unless I'm trying a new powerset (and don't feel creative) or trying to see if I can match a powerset to an existing one. I've got a few, but I'll have to get some screenies. Hopefully I'll remember this thread! >.<
  23. So long as they end up into the right folder structure inside your Data folder, then you're fine. I read elsewhere that the change should happen immediately, but as mentioned above. It'd be best not trying to access said maps while doing so (logged out being safest).

  25. Anyone Else annoyed by the "First appeared..." bit that's auto-inserted? I mean, if we could actually modify it, then it'd be cool. IE: First appeared in Issue 2 / i2.
