  1. Kinda-sorta-not exactly and it would take just as long anyway as you can't import the file.
  2. There's a thread for Mac issues for reference. I've also read a thread today about the x64 ver of the game having little to no sound by one user. It'd be good to post your device info (not the SN) when troubleshooting a Mac as it'll help those more in the know (not yet me) about these things.
  3. When are they "resetting"? What is changing? Some settings are stored in the files while others in the registry. It never does seem to back them All up in a single save for the general game settings either. Additionally, if you're never able to keep settings, then you've probably not installed it in a safe spot. It is best to install the game to something like C:\Games\COH. Not something like your Downloads, Documents, or Desktop folders as Windows has some funky permissions issues with them because they're all inside the C:\Users\UserName folder. Checkout the install guide for good examples and visuals.
  4. On the off chance...search for the "playerslot.txt" file in your account's folder within the game folder. C:\Games\COX\Tequila\wanderingaries\playerslot.txt Delete the file and restart the game. Mind you, it'll forget the order your alts are in if you do this, so you could make a copy elsewhere just in case.
  5. The thing is though, Because it's free, there are people out there GIVING away Inf. Hell, I was joking (when am I not?) and was given funds (not a small amount) that I "needed" to get some fun stuff for my alts. Don't go begging, but there are ways to get it like CC, etc.
  6. And a damned good way to get the game shut down...
  7. Options -> Revalidate Oh wait, you're saying it's crashing Tequila when IT opens, not the game. Yeah, let us know what your AV is.
  8. And when you Do that, do it for the Whole folder you've installed it to just in case: C:\Games\COH
  9. Could we maybe have a wiki like page offline that we can match names to so that the search function can be used? While we're at it...I can't read the damned text on the tabs at all. I can barely read what the item is and often am flying blind while building. Considering I'm running 1080p on a 40" TV, then I wouldn't have thought this to be an issue. Nothing is scaled differently.
  10. Probably oversight as they likely figured that most would never close it seeing as they are the most consumed items in the game.
  11. Early on it was taking most of a day (likely being slammed) via the Tequila launcher. Almost nothing from before will work when it comes to assets. Even the new Mids makes the old stuff (not the saved files) pointless.
  12. The problem is that numbers in the windows are static. If they could do something like when you activate the /showFPS, then it'd be live data.
  13. Try lowering your GFX and stepping them up slowly. Also try the safemode first and then the 32bit.
  14. Try revalidating the files in the Tequila options.
  15. I forget what it's called, but I've been seeing the old "Paragon Radio" (?) announcing through the forums since HC started.
  16. If that were the case, then they would have come by now. HC has been playing things as smart as can be overall to avoid such a thing. So long as some rogue part of the community doesn't do something stupid like attempt to profit off of the game (before negotiations complete), then I don't think we're in any real risk of shutdown.
  17. Not until someone knows how to easily convert the ingame Build files (/buildsave) to the Mids format. I mean, it looks painless enough, but I'm guessing there's some data it expects to see in the file that it doesn't because I get a blank build when simply changing the filetype (after a few errors). build.txt Pyromethious - DMG Focus.mxd
  18. I'm gonna be Real disappointed if it doesn't look like this: :p Oh wait, you mean more like that restaurant. :/
  19. What about a 3rd party time OSD? I'm sure Somebody has made one for gaming purposes. And a quick google-fail keeps coming up with odd windows things.
  20. This and they don't plan on doing so it seems. Just don't forget to add one of the combo power/control things to the base so your porters work.
  21. If you haven't already, I believe there's a link in the install guide for how to whitelist the game for Avast. The simplest way would be to take the whole directory (IE: C:\Games\COH) and put that whole thing in the whitelist. Also, try the Safe-Mode first to see if that works. If so, then go from there.
  22. Wasn't XP and 2k basically on the same codebase only 2k wasn't as game compatible? It's been a while since I've been OS info-diving.
