  1. Yeah...I've been kinda sorta using it since oh say Beta (Win3-Win95) when it was on floppies and still owned by Jasc. :p
  2. So your helper server is a Tool...well that explains a lot. ;)
  3. Eh, I'm more bitter about the fact that we've been having persistent Globals issues. The likely reason people Stay in Help or LFG. Nothing pisses you off like not being able to talk to others just because you entered a building. Now I haven't played in a bit, so if this has been FIXED, then I'll be forever grateful!
  4. Well if it Helps to understand Why...You have to have something else running/open to Alt-Tab over to. The desktop alone may not be enough to Alt-Tab out to.
  5. Also, if you feel adventurous, then you could go into the Tequila\PLAYERNAME folder and edit the playerslot.txt file. I believe the pages have 10 alts per, so keep that in mind when editing. Harder and easier to mess up, but sometimes the dragging flips pages too fast for me. Also note that if you leave an empty slot and then create a new alt they'll go into that slot (causing you to move that alt). It happens to me a bit because each page is a different SG/theme.
  6. Curious as to why your builds weren't being stored in your documents folder as that's the default method this app has always had?
  7. Possibly dumb question, so you're still talking about a local app that talks to a server OR a local app that later sends you results data?
  8. This, summer is in full swing (about to end), so those who Can are enjoying RL or adulting with their tiny ones.
  9. "Freeware" if you can get an old (make sure it's clean) version of the app, but I've been using the PaintShop Pro editor's built-in screenshot function. It works independent of the OS/game and will ALWAYS work so long as you don't bind a power to the same keys (if you did, then you'd get like a billion screenshots at random :p). I've never had an issue with it and it's nice because then I can edit them with a Photoshop like app. ^.^
  10. This seems to be affected more by zoom distance when I'm playing. Sometimes I have to zoom out and kinda move my cursor a bit or even face from a different angle, but for the most part I don't have too much of an issue (possibly because I'm just used to it). I have to be careful when placing things like the Vault in bases because the click point is too high. I'm not sure how the game actually handles the points that are clickable or I might have something to add. The pointer thing likely failed because the actual group of pixels that make up its click point doesn't really change when you do that (as you found out). +1 to having these points enlarged if possible though!
  11. Heh, I vaguely recall that name. :p I'm mostly on Torch with my two OG SG/VGs recreated (self-alts only as I don't think anyone's coming back TBH), but I've recreated/made new some alts just for LL on Indom. I might just have some DD quality alts in my Beta list once they get out of Praet, but I haven't decided on the Beta crew's themes yet. If you haven't seen it, PinnBadges is a live chan in-game as well.
  12. Let's see... No finger anchors / spawnage Finished my 3rd/last college in 2010 My 20yrs of retail was ended For me just before Xmas 2017 Beta tested that Marvel UA style game (and a few others) that eventually failed "Smoke" tested the remastered Pegasus Prime for Mr. Yune before the released it on GoG And who knows how much else...
  13. Have you been messing with key binds? Any idea of things you've done recently? Also, I encourage having this in the Tequilla options to help reduce the strain on your system when (successfully) alt-tabbing:
  14. Isn't there a list of existing global channels? There's a bunch out there with different themes. Base building, etc.
  15. I don't have the steps to follow off hand, but there are display scaling options that you should turn down to either 100% or 125% as the 150% breaks old stuff. I've seen apps not load at all with the higher setting.
  16. Are you guys marking just the EXE's as safe or are you making the whole folder white listed? I'd do the latter as you "shouldn't" have to do it more than once. Just checked mine, I haven't made Any whitelisting for Webroot, but Defender has my whole C:\games folder whitelisted. I can't remember Ever getting a message about the game with this config.
  17. I've only skimmed the thread, but I remember having either made or customized the existing MM pet powers in such a way where I'd have a handful of things they would do. It was for all pets, as so to keep them manageable. I remember their being a standard set I'd followed, so a look in the old forum guides would be something worth the effort to comb through. Hopefully PK will have something by year's end that we can all access (old forums) and make searching for these things easier.
  18. Well Fu....this country needs some serious mental health support. Amongst other things. Take your time.
  19. Agreed and I can't tell that's a double arrow from my viewing distance, so that'd be an easy miss. :p
  20. I...don't know why I never hovered over the button. >.< I "do" know that I was assuming that meant "next page" as that's generally what an arrow pointing right means on everything Else (not much TBH) that I visit on the internet. Oh well, +1 for this forum's design. :p
  21. There is one Other option you could try that is a little tricky and requires you to do an extra step Before launching the game. Now I'm not going to write out the specific method for this, but the basic concept is to create a pair of registry files that you would load before launching the game. One for High GFX and one for low GFX (labeled accordingly). You would take the related COH registry key and export that for each and then Merge them as needed. It should work and would only have to be created once per settings. IE: Setup the GFX the way you like and exit the game. Goto the Cryptic/COH registry key and export it and rename it. Go Back into the game, change the settings, and exit. Export the key again with the appropriate name. If you understand what the different entries Mean, then you could always just edit the files manually as well. ***I've not tried it, but it Should work for any settings that the system registry controls.
  22. This mostly, but it does feel like the modern "fat fingered" interface and likely works well on a mobile device. Eventually they'll get around to having time to give us more options, but I AM liking that we have the recent button mixed with having it auto-sort in chrono order EITHER direction. I HATE other websites for that. Like, they'll be reverse chrono and it makes it Super dif to keep up to date or even read things in sequence.
  23. I won't know until I fix my MBP to test, but aren't Mac PKG files/apps basically just folders that contain the app's files? If so, then wouldn't it just be possible to simply replace the folder containing the main components from the PC builds? IE: Drag'n'drop fix
  24. What was said above in response as well as that there are folders (Download included) that the system likes to treat different from say C:/Games in that it likes to protect them. Often AV software will also be focused on them as well by default. Normally I'd be ok to put the game in something like "Program Files", but this isn't a production company supported app and thus probably has signature issues that might Also get flagged by AV. If it works for you, then great, but the guides in existence are designed specifically to avoid 'possible' issues intentionally to reduce any troubleshooting.
