  1. Time should NOT be squishy: You have access to Time's Juncture, which debuffs foe's To Hit AND damage (so long as you're in melee), and Farsight, which raises your defense. In tandem, and without enhancements, they reduce your chances of being hit from 50% to about 28%. WITH enhancements, it's about 18%. So yeah, you're not a tank, but you have access to more survivability tools than many other controllers (and this isn't even counting your actual control powers, btw). But you have to actually get and use these powers!

  4. Yeah, anything having to deal with SG items being "earned" has been done away with. Prestige, badges, whatever. Great for building your dream base, not-so-great if you actually like earning things and being able to show off your dedication. I liken it to Minecraft. Sure, building whatever you want in creative mode is great, but I always have more fun and feel more accomplished with the house I built out of beaten up trees and stone I dug up with crude tools.
  5. I dont see a background on my phone... but on my home pc using Firefox I do see it, though when I scroll quickly, all the messages disappear, and the background stars get REALLY bright for a moment, before the thread content reasserts itself. Is that an issue at all?
  6. Is this "preference" considered a bug? Does it mean that sometimes it just won't save asymetric/dual aura costumes? Is there any way to test this behavior?

  8. @Sailboat Yeah, I don't know about just 5k, but I've personally been the "victim" of getting lowballed: I was just going for a quick sale on an ATO, so I posted for 5, hoping to get at least 7 million as per the price history... The winning bid turned out to be like 50K. I wasn't happy. Though on the other side of it, unless you were selling a purple, Brute ATOs usually hover around 10-15 million, not 20.
  9. At level 3, I have 120 hit points. A level 3 Hellion minion hits for 7 hit points. and so the debuff brings that down to... 4.4-ish. That's not exactly a game-changer. At higher levels, oh god yes, that debuff will be a life saver. but at low levels, you're better off just spamming heals. However, you bring up a good point vis-a-vis duration and recharge, but so far I haven't found myself wishing I'd taken that power instead of the heal.

  11. Yeah, Shock doesn't seem to do anything at such a low level, but you can't even use the heal on yourself, sooooo, I see your point! As for actual feedback, is there any chance the hit box on the sentinel can be made bigger? I have a hard time clicking on it/selecting it to heal in the middle of combat. EDIT: part of this seems to be that, depending on the angle, the center of the sentinel doesn't line up with the center of the hit box... edit 2, oh, my cursor doesn't show up in these screen shots. grr, let me fix that! Edit 3: I don't know how to fix that. Just, rest assured, in that second shot, my pointer is in the dead center of the "ball" that makes up the pet's body.
  12. So, sometimes when I zone (usually out from a base, but not always), there will be NO fog in a zone. For the most part, this suites me fine as I prefer not having it, though many zones do look horrible when details over a mile away just disappear and leave giant holes everywhere....
  13. Yeah, I think having it as the T1 was deemed necessary as it was the main static builder. But now that it no longer builds static, I'm all for making the heal T1 instead. Though if it does get bumped to T2, maybe a slight buff is in order to make it a more tantalizing pick.

  15. I kinda find myself agreeing with both "sides" here. On one hand, polling the playerbase for every change and idea will mean that nothing ever gets done. Sometimes devs just have to bite the bullet and push out some content. Also, Leandro himself stated that he tried his best to please his players back on SCoRE, and you know what happened? They played with their new shiny for a week or two, then left. Giving people what they "want" only makes them bored, ironically enough. On the other hand, the new electric support set doesn't really do it for me, and based on the feedback I've seen, a lot of other people aren't super thrilled with it, either. Which is a shame, because the team has clearly spent time and care on it, and the ideas all sound good on paper. And like the OP, I wonder if some of this could have been mitigated with the devs asking something like "What do YOU want to see in a new support set?" and maybe found that more of a hybrid set would have been a more popular approach. Sure, the answers would have been all over the map... some would have been off-topic or unhelpful ("Port Illu to Dominators!" "Buff Trick Arrow instead!"), but I think overall a consensus could have been reached before the coding started. Or maybe I'm being too optimistic, who knows?
  16. In this picture, I'm running Superior Invisibility (from Illusion), as well as Temp invulnerability. As you cans ee, my character is almost completely translucent, except for the glowy parts on her gloves. Small issue, nothing game-breaking, but, just thought I'd report it 😃
  17. Ok, so I whipped this up. A few things to note: There's no Alpha slot/Incarnate stuff or accolades, so once you get those, that will change your stats for the better. The build is very Solo vs Single-target focused. This is why I skipped Spectral Terror, Mutation, Fallout, and the epic AoE. Your damage mainly comes from procs (especially in Blind!). For this reason, I do NOT recommend slotting an Alpha which increases recharge, as that will neuter your proc chances, and therefore, your damage. Hasten and AM are perma by a fairly wide margin. PA is barely there, so you'll have to queue it just before it's back up (using the countdown timers option will be very handy for this!) You don't have soft-cap defenses.... on PAPER. Once you hit your foe with Radiation Infection, you'll be 95% safe, guaranteed (Power Boost will be great for this if you're up against a +4 AV)! Still, if you DO get hit, it's gonna hurt. Endurance might be an issue. Keep plenty of blue candy on you! Many enhancements are +5 (using boosters). This does NOT show up on mids unless you hover your mouse over the enhancement! In general, I only +5'd recharge enhancements on powers that have a high recharge (Hasten, AM, PA, etc), the End Redux in Enervating Field, and the End Mods in Stamina. With that out of the way...   18. Well, the problem with your request is that, generally, we expect the people asking to do some of the legwork on their own. After all, play style is a key feature that no one can build for. I might skip a power that you would love playing, or put a power in the build that you end up never using. It's one thing for you to post a build that's 3 seconds shy of perma-hasten and asking for help, it's another thing all together to have someone do all the work for you. That said, I get that mids looks daunting and confusing, so I'll tell ya what: I'll whip up something and post it in a bit, and re-reply with it once it's done. Or, maybe someone else will beat me to the punch. Either way, Im'ma help you out 😃 Though I should note that my own illu/time is ALSO an AV-soloing machine. Not quite there with GMs unless I throw a shivan at it, but maybe you can just make a separate build for that character instead?

  22. For the healing, think of it like the force feedback proc: hitting lots of enemies doesn't give you multiple buffs, just multiple chances for the one buff to go off. As for Poison Trap, you didn't slot it for recharge or select an Alpha with recharge, did you? Because that's really the only thing I can think of which would make procs not want to go off.

  25. I'm just throwing my hat in the ring in regards to the fact that the heal doesn't affect the caster. It makes the ability pretty useless solo. Also, I should mention (as probably HAS been mentioned, but I'll admit I don't want to read 4 pages of this thread because I want to get back to testing) that every set that has a heal, has a heal that will affect the caster. Empathy and Pain both have target-only heals, true, but they also have auras which heal the caster. Fire, Rad, and Time have a PBAoE heal that heals the caster. Kin and Dark both have foe-targeted heals that can be used to heal the caster. Nature's heal heals the caster. The only exception is Storm with it's O2 boost, which is more of an ally buff which happens to include a bit of healing. Though, I do understand that the set's chain ability will heal you when you use your shockstacks, but you don't get the ability to do that until level 6, and you have to choose a specific, unrelated power to do so (which I know sounds dumb because yes, you have to choose a healing power to heal yourself anyway, but this is different!), and you don't have much other mitigation before that... Though the -dam is pretty effective, so maybe this isn't such a huge deal. Still, the fact that you need to a) use your static power a bunch, then b) hit a target c) within a small time-frame because the shockstacks fade after like 20 seconds, just to get HP back... well, again, I'm going to keep testing this, but I feel like my stacks are gonna get used when I don't need them, and won't be around when I do. I've had the same thing happen on my Sentinel, where Opportunity won't show up until all my foes are nearly dead, and my T1 and 2 powers are still recharging anyway. It's been the biggest gripe of mine since they started combo systems: You HAVE to take certain powers to get the most out of a given set, which feels pretty counter-intuitive given the nature of all the older powersets (where if you skipping a power meant you literally just didn't have that power, and could choose something else, and you didn't have to worry about gimping yourself by skipping a power or taking it later than its assigned level, which is a HUGE issue early on, since you have literally dozens of powers to choose from starting at level 4) A possible fix would be a freely-granted power that simply lets you expend your shockstacks to heal on the spot. No enhancements on the power, just a straight up once-a-minute emergency stack exchange. But mweh. This was longer and more ranty than I intended. TLDR: Self-Heal plz Back to testing!
